* In Marie's story mode, what happened to Squigly after Marie is removed from the Skullheart and lost most of its influence on her? Does she remain as long as Marie is around due to the Skullheart's fragment?

* Meta question, but how would Annie having a palette based on, well, [[VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends Annie]] have caused legal issues, especially when no other company has had issues with the game's various ShoutOut's?

* Only women may be cursed into becoming a Skullgirl, but what of their parasites? Ex. Filia becomes the Skullgirl and Samson is still alive and attached to her. Would he perish through the process and Filia would only have half a skull to work with during her reign, or would Samson live and be just as brainwashed through the curse, or keep independence while still attached to her head? This is assuming he can't or won't just detach from Filia in what would have been a fatal move for her. This could also extend to parasites who are separate like Sagan to Annie, or artificial ones like Avery and the gang to Peacock.

** There ''is'' a possibility that he has ulterior motives. We don't know much about him yet, so it being TeethClenchedTeamwork could be the case. Either that, or maybe his misogyny is overshadowed by [[AsskickingEqualsAuthority how intimidating Regina is said to be]]. Just because he's a misogynist doesn't mean he won't respect a woman to avoid getting his shit wrecked.

** It might end its own existence but make it so the wisher becomes the next Skull Heart in exchange.

*** Yeah but that still doesn't clear it out, does the Skullheart look for chromosomes? (in case they want to go on the biological explanation route, like dna differences that makes only some people eligible) it looks for gender identity? (the holder identifying herself as female regardless if cis or trans) maybe both criteria needs to be met? Until we don't get an official trans Skullgirl or an official explanation of why the Skullheart only works on girls we cannot know how the Skullheart's logic works for sure.

** I would imagine it's tied to gender identity. A trans woman is just as much of a woman as a cis woman, and the same goes for trans and cis men. There wouldn't be much reason for a trans man to seek out the Skull Heart and potentially become a Skullgirl, given that he isn't a girl. [[EpilepticTrees Unless a trans guy sought the Skull Heart and tried to use that as his reasoning or to his advantage,]] and the [[JackassGenie Skull Heart]] decided to seize the opportunity and [[LoopholeAbuse make a Skullgirl out of him anyway.]] Who knows.

* It seems like the Skullheart's been around a while -- though not, as Leviathan says, forever. Still, why hasn't the Canopy Kingdom started practicing cremation of the dead (like the Free Folk of ASongOfIceAndFire do to keep their own dead from rising as wights) to keep the undead legions the Skullgirls can raise down to a minimum?

* Is the wish-granting power of the skull heart tied to gender identity, or to biological sex?

* If Squigly's so insulted by having her mouth sewn shut, why doesn't she just cut the stitches?

** Not entirely sure that Peacock's eyes could have been replaced before she transformed into a cartoon. She got her them mashed into jammy paste by that slaver; and even if they could connect new ones, we haven't learned how long it took for her eyes to become those black portals that they are now. Can't really do eye-surgery when the patient uses the sockets for storage space.
