** Geeta knows full well that Dana is not using her full strength as a Battle Maison trainer and criticizes her for not using it. This causes Dana to go full ValleyGirl and goes on a long-winded complaint to Geeta that she has to hide her true nature to keep up an air of elegance as a Battle Chatelaine. The whole outburst only leaves Geeta ''very'' confused, but then she laughs it off that it's fine if it's because Dana's job must have her act differently.

** Upon arriving into Ball Guy's Secret Hideout, you'll notice the abundance of Poké Balls all around the hideout, the funny part kicks in when you start [[KleptomaniacHero choosing your reward]] from Ball Guy's special collection, this would sometime makes the Preschooler who was playing with the Poké Ball, looked like she [[CornerofWoe lost her toy]] when you come back to the hideout. Upon taking all of Ball Guy's prizes, Ball Guy can only resort to giving out Big Pearls instead.

** Shauna asks a recent victim of Phantom Imaginate if she is part of Team Flare, the Lass denies it until Shauna recites a motto from Team Flare to which the Team Flare Grunt joined in, her response of being found out is amusing.
** The 'Phantom Imaginate'[[note]]the fake one[[/note]] using the Pokémon he 'Freed' to do his job. Keep in mind that they don't belong to him and it took them a while to reluctantly follow his commands, their unenthusiastic movement just makes it funnier.
** In the Pokémon Center, Zinnia compliments Lyra's Team Rocket costume, saying that she feels like a real grunt. Lyra became thrilled before realizing that it probably wasn't a [[BackHandedCompliment compliment]].

*** Iono asks if Ball Guy is allowed to wear his get-up, Ball Guy hopes he won't get in trouble for it.
** As mentioned above, Ball Guy has indeed appeared throughout the event. [[note]] His appearance in #1 is easily noticeable. In #2, he can be seen during the group photo between Crasher Wake and Masked Royale. During the cooking section, he appeared behind Iono seconds before the scene changes to the research lab, where he's seen behind the glass as Prof. Oak sends out his Tauros. In the final stream he's as obvious as the #1 stream.[[/note]]

* The player hears from Leaf recordings she got from others about raising Pokémon, but they later meet up with Leaf to show her recordings of what people thought about her. It starts with Prof. Bellis fascinated by her, Steven praising, and Blue declaring she's his friend and rival...but then Blue goes on about seeing her cuddling with her Pokémon (namely Eevee and ''Venasaur''), which ''mortifies'' her and asks the player to [[SecretKeeper keep it a secret]].

** May is surprises by hers, and wonders if this is how Tate and Liza feel.

* To promote the game’s new title, a special hashtag on Twitter with a retro Red emoji called “[=#PokemonMastersEx=]” was created. However, due to how hashtags can be entered, fans very quickly latched onto typing it as [[TheProblemWithPenIsland "#pokemonmastersex or [=#PokemonMasterSex=]"]]. Since then, the official Twitter account had the old #[=PokemonMasters=] updated with the Red emoji and [[LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain stopped using the new one]].

* You can now team up Sync Pairs of the same name into the same team, this leads to many people making teams with a trainer who has many partner Pokémon such as May, Cynthia and Lillie or trainers who [[DoppelgangerAttack looks the same ]] such as Blue, Morty and the Main Character.
** And you can even pair up Kukui with the Masked Royal, [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial which there's definitely no reason]] why they can't appear together at the same time.
* Ever since the 3rd Anniversary, Ash, Sygna Suit Cynthia (Aura) and Sygna Suit Red (Thunderbolt) are regarded as the "Strongest Team", they would always be used together against any playable level if the player has all three of them, even when they don't get the bonuses from that event. [[note]] Red's ability to consistently use a powerful move that ignores damage reduction while also debuffing enemies, Cynthia being able to raise both Defense and Sp. Def to the max with one move and Ash single move with over 1000 power makes up for it.[[/note]] It gets ridiculous when the ability to check replays of successful teams confirms that at least one player, if not all of them, uses them to answer all of their problems when dealing with an extremely hard level.
** In comes 3.5 Years Anniversary, where Neo Champion Marnie, Neo Champion Hop and Neo Champion Bede join the ranks.
* A RunningGag of how Sync Pairs gets sorted to each role in the game where the Pokemon that deals high damage in the main games or Unevolved Pokémon receives the Support Role such as SS Brendan's Latios or Spring Burgh's Togepi where as weaker or defensive Pokémon in the main games gets the Striker role such as Karen's Umbreon or Ash's Pikachu.

* So we have faced Champion Stadium Hard mode from different regions, we have conquered many Legendaries, we have defended Pasio from being taken over a villainous organization. And now the time has come for players to face the ''Ultimate'' test, Ultimate Battle: Anabel's Flickering Flames
** The Devs have really put everything into making this as the enemy is a combination of Latias' and Moltres' Passive skills which limits the Sync Pair one can select as they'll need to lower their stats and change the weather, many who have underestimated this Entei will no doubt [[RageQuit lose their patience]].
* The social media manager must be in DeadpanSnarker mode when introducing [[https://x.com/PokemonMasters/status/1744554788514087189?s=20 Iono in the game]]:

* With most of the regions strongest trainers (Gym Leaders, EliteFour, and Champions) here on Pasio, one wonders if everything is fine back at their own regions since no one is there to take on the challenges from other trainers considering it isn't mention that anyone has left Pasio since they've arrived on it.

** Ball Guy goes around causing mayhem to many Sync Pairs, all of which are in groups of the same type each. Cue Bea's team composed of Korrina and...[[ShockAndAwe Lt.]] [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers Surge]], who's just there to enjoy looking at Ball Guy's Voltorb and Electrode.

** When Raihan and Nessa show up, Iono is excited that having them show in the stream will help her get more money to her ''back account'', though she quickly cuts herself off mentioning the bank account at all.

** Iono's first stream has the Ball Guy [[FunnyBackgroundEvent reacting to her announcement and being silly in the background]]. Then there's the sudden silence when she notices him on the back.

** Her revelation that Ball Guy was part of the show, and then questioning him on the fact he's not the official mascot of the Galar League.

** The intro cutscene has Brock losing to Ramos and commenting he couldn't get to taste those "[[Anime/{{Pokemon}} jelly-filled]] [[{{Bowdlerization}} donuts.]]" What's funnier is [[AscendedMeme this only applies to the English version]], as the Japanese version simply has him say "that dish."

Being a cavalcade of different trainers from across the franchise, expect a ton of laughs!

** The entire story event is littered with [[JustForPun ball puns]], from the episode titles, to Ball Guy's ball puns.

** While looking for [[YouAreNumber6 Seventorb the Voltorb]], the player and Ball Guy asked a [[PlayedforLaughs Preschooler]] if she has seen it. Her response is that she hasn't met a [[ExactWords Voltorb]]. This is where a few players will have a sneaking suspicion if they recalled something similar happened [[CallBack last year]], not being fooled again you continue to ask the Preschooler until Ball Guy asked if she knows [[JustForPun watts]] an "Electrode". To which [[{{Troll}} she'll]] says yes and leads you to it.

* Rei advices the player not to stand too close to Pokémon while they're battling because it's dangerous...only then he recalls everyone in the modern era knows that already.
