* The use of the word "pound" in War of the Commercials may confuse viewers given that the RSPCA PSA and the Pound Puppies commercial were shown back-to-back. In the former, the word refers to British currency.

** The fact she allows the Deadpool cosplayer to touch her breasts even though she doesn't want him to because "it's his choice to do it if he wants" amplifies her twisted view of consent further. Even if she only let him do it because she knew Devil Boner would beat his ass, it's still a concerning way to bait attention.

Accidentally Accurate is for lack of research in a work that happens to match reality, luckily for the author. It's a meta/trivia/writing thing. This example seems to be a joke that matched events of a work, so I would say it's Joke And Receive.

* Perhaps an [[AccidentallyAccurate unintentional]] example due to its tangential nature (with a side order of FridgeBrilliance to boot), but at the end of his WesternAnimation/{{Balto}} review, Aunt Despair tells her niece that [[spoiler: her parents died of "double-erotic asphyxiation"]]. Seems like just another round of typical NC BlackComedy, right? But consider the movie he reviewed. The sequel, ''Balto II: Wolf Quest'' featured a major character voiced by Creator/DavidCarradine. [[spoiler: Remember how ''he'' died?]]

Demo Reel was about the behind the scenes, not just recreating stories.

* Current reviews often have scenes reenacted on a much lower budget by the Nostalgia Crew. [[WebVideo/DemoReel I wonder why that sounds familiar...]]

* In the ''Stephen King's IT'' review, when Dr. Smith recognizes that the Critic has been playing the Stephen King Drinking Game, he comments that "that's been known to kill people". This seems odd at first glance, since the Critic mentions in the beginning of the review that he ''just made up'' the Drinking Game in question, so how could it have killed people before? Except Dr. Smith is from the ''future''. Presumably, the Game caught on (possibly thanks to the Critic's video itself gaining popularity), enough that it's still popular (and dreaded) in the far-away future of Dr Smith.

* At first, Critic handing Aunt Despair's daughter over to Chester in the Balto review seems to be another example of him being an asshole. But if one were to think about it, Critic made the right call. Would Bum Jr. ''really'' be better off living with a man who's constantly dealing with utter madness and having to fend for his life by people who are crazy and/or raging assholes? At least Chester and Doe are loving people who'll no doubt do their best to make sure Bum Jr. is happy.

* By the ''Cinderella'' review, Hyper was much more stable and better at taking criticism of the things she liked. Yet she threatened to kill herself when Todd in the Shadows told her "Hold On" by Good Charlotte (which saved her from suicide, also why she's more defensive of it) sucked? ''Old Vs New: Evil Dead'' came out only a few weeks later- it's likely she and Devil Boner had started fighting by then and it messed with her stability.

* Hyper says in her Q&A that she was born in 1991, yet in ''Old Vs New Spider-Man'' the FreezeFrameBonus of her Facebook lists her birth year as 1984. Likely just a {{retcon}} or something they forgot to edit out of the base for the Facebook, but there are some potentially disturbing explanations: as mentioned above, Hyper smiles at the idea of way older men being creepily attracted to her, so why wouldn't she age herself up on her Facebook in order to get more attention? Not to mention it would appear to greatly lessen the age gap between her and Critic.

''Thomas the Tank Engine'' has moved to full CGI animation since 2009, wherein all of the characters now have moving mouths, so of course Thomas would move his mouth more than Zordon.

* While the Critic is usually ''very'' good at impressions, to the point where some of the voices he does are practically indistinguishable from the original, when he narrates as MorganFreeman in ''The Pebble and The Penguin'', he doesn't sound a thing like Freeman. Why? Because [[MemeticBadass only Morgan Freeman can do that voice.]]

* He admitted in the ''{{Gordy}}'' review that he's exhausted. He was going to face Jaffers killing him with just a bit too much dignity. He gets close to EmptyShell state whenever he's BSOD-ing. He's been killing himself a lot less lately. His job issues still haven't gone. Maybe he's just given up and is living life out of obligation.

* I was confused by the Commercial Special Megacut featuring all 7 episodes at first, but soon I realized that it is supposed to be a StealthParody of GeorgeLucasAlteredVersion, due to it having edits just like Creator/GeorgeLucas would have!
