* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: "Boneville" is the location name given on the SpinningPaper near the beginning. We aren't offered any clues as to where that's supposed to be, however.

[[ContrivedCoincidence Incredible as it may seem]], all three of the boys in his class are {{Jerk Jock}}s, and all five of the girls are [[BrainlessBeauty stupid sexually attractive cheerleaders]] who spend a lot of time working on their cheers between classes so they can [[FanService flash a lot of undergarments at the viewers]] and [[ShowerScene hit the showers]] (which just so ''happen'' to have an enormous air vent running right between them and the gym through which the guys can peep at them) a ''lot''. Also, the school's young principal Mrs. Cello is an [[ReallyGetsAround insatiable nymphomaniac]] seeking to make every male within reach (teachers and students alike) one of her conquests... with the possible exception of TheUnintelligible school janitor Henry, a poor low-brain-powered [[TheWoobie gomer]] the students regularly harrass and mistreat much the same as they do to Kevin.

* DumbBlonde: Vicky, though frankly her lack of intellect doesn't distinguish her very much from any of her peers with other hair colors.

* HollywoodLaw: For the record, being ruled "mentally incapable of standing trial" is not the same thing as being [[InsanityDefense acquitted on grounds of insanity]] as Tammy Edwards and movie's script writer seem to think: it means you're simply not sane enough to stand trial ''yet''. Whenever you "snap out of it" and are ruled mentally capable again, you then have to stand trial for your crimes. Kevin would have to have been frothing-at-the-mouth raving insane for almost ''six months'' to have remained in the insane asylum for so long as the movie's TimeSkip super indicates.

** Also Kevin, who succees in his revenge, kills all of his tormentors and avoids police. By the end of the film, he is still free with his invisibility and to do whatever he wants.

* MaleGaze: On his first day teaching, Kevin gets quite an eyeful of [[DumbBlonde Vicky]]'s [[LegFocus legs]], as do we. The camera also focuses on where he and all the other guys are looking when the girls' skirts fly up every time they do their cheers.

* ShownTheirWork: Unlike the HollywoodScience underlying Kevin's invisibility serum, the high school physics we see Kevin teaching in to the students in his class is ''actual'' physics.

* SureLetsGoWithThat: Mrs. Cello manages to startle Kevin while he's gazing at the showering girls through the vent, and he [[ICanExplain makes up a lame excuse]] that he was [[BlatantLies just picking up some change he dropped]]. She obviously doesn't believe him, but plays along anyway because she doesn't mind his voyeurism one bit.

* [[WhereTheHellIsSpringfield Where The Hell Is Boneville?]]: "Boneville" is the location name given on the SpinningPaper near the beginning. We aren't offered any clues as to where that's supposed to be, however.

* DeathBySex: Everyone who has sex or even ''tries'' to have sex in this movie is doomed; ''everyone''.

* CoitusEnsues: Chet and Bunny sneak into Mrs. Cello's office to have sex [[spoiler: while Kevin's off killing Gordon, and while the camera repeatedly cuts [[FanDisservice between the two of them making the beast with two backs and the bleeding corpse of Mrs. Cello on the other side of the desk. Yech.]] They never do notice the corpse.]] About the only purpose this scene serves is to make us like our {{Designated Hero}}es even less. Thank you, Rif Coogan. Thanks a ''whole friggin' heap'' for [[{{Squick}} that]].

Unfortunately, when he attempts to demonstrate to a symposium of world-famous fellow physicists a new breakthrough he claims to have made in [[{{Invisiblity}} making himself invisible]], his serum fails to produce the intended effect, [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer and they mock him mercilessly]]. [[BerserkButton This proves to be a terrible mistake]]: [[FreudianExcuse cruelly reminded of his mother's abuse]], he goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge, [[WhosLaughingNow slaughtering four of the other eleven scientists present]]. After he is arrested (newscaster Tammy Edwards helpfully informs us), he is ruled [[InsanityDefense incompetent to stand trial]] and sent to the State Institute for the Criminally Insane ([[WhereTheHellIsSpringfield in some unspecified state]]).

** Also, Chet sure doesn't seem to mind cheating on his girlfriend Bunny with Mrs. Cello.

* AnnoyingLaugh: Kevin's laugh sounds like a screaming hyena, and he uses it a ''lot'', especially near the end.

* {{Designated Hero}}es: Chet and Bunny are the OfficialCouple leading the defense against Kevin's attack; they're also the ringleaders who directed their fellow students to tease and torment him beyond all endurance in the first place. Oh, and [[spoiler: Chet very willingly has sex with Mrs. Cello and puts off Bunny's inquiries about their future together after having sex with her in Mrs. Cello's office.]] These are supposed to be our ''heroes''!?

When he was a child, the budding young scientist Kevin Dornwinkle's atrocious mother caught him [[NaughtyBirdwatching peeping with his telescope]] at a nubile young woman doing a [[YouCanLeaveYourHatOn strip tease]] while dancing to some music in her bedroom. [[ObviouslyEvil Hateful woman that she was]], she proceeded to inflict numerous gaping wounds on his vulnerable little psyche, ranting about what a disgusting little pervert he was; how [[BoomerangBigot all women are evil]]; and how he was never to look at, talk to, or even think about at them ever again; and somehow finishing this rant by [[EvilLaugh laughing maniacally in his face]].

* VeryPunchableMan: Deconstructed with Henry. One of the reasons Chet picks on him is because Bunny claims the way Henry watches the girls creeps them all out, so he goes chewing out Henry and pushing him around in order to impress her; yet Henry is by far the closest thing to an innocent character in this entire movie [[{{Hypocrite}}(and Chet goes spying on Bunny and all the other girls in the showers without their consent just as much as any of the other males in this movie do)]], so Chet's really doing nothing but [[KickTheDog Kicking The Dog]] here.
