I thought it was interesting that they had simpler Tron Lines on the costumes this time around.

Added DiffLines:

** It's interesting to note that, compared to the last movie, the TronLines are much simpler and fewer in number on everyone, though this is probably for a variety of reasons (easier recognition of characters--see above, the fact they're physical parts of the costumes (cost/work), more streamlined look to match more modern look of everything else, etc.).

** And then there's the scene [[http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/893/tronolivia.png this shot comes from]], intent on both moving the plot along and giving the audience a chance to check out Olivia Wilde's legs. Mission accomplished on both counts.

** ''Literally'' the Armory Sirens, at least the outer layer. In a special feature on the DVD, Beau Garrett (the actress who plays Gem) explains that her costume has four layers; the outermost layer is a sprayed-on latex, similar to the latex used in party balloons.

* ForgotAboutHisPowers: A minor example. During the Lightcycle battle, Sam gets knocked off his bike by Clu and just stands there with his disk armed while Clu turns for another pass. Though this sets up Quorra's BigDamnHeroes moment, Sam seems to have completely forgotten about the cycle rod he pocketed after its original owner was crushed by Clu (not one minute earlier). It's never brought up again.
