Changed 'Colonel' to 'commanding officer' (which would be a Lieutenant Colonel) in the Colonel Badass entry. I *think* that's what the dialogue was - that Mallory was CO. He may have been promoted afterwards and retired as a full Colonel. The main thing is, the highest rank in The Regiment is LTCOL. Higher ranks of special forces officers are in headquarters, training or similar roles.

Depleted Uranium rounds would function perfectly effectively as an armor piercing round: The significant factor in defeating body armor is not the speed of the round, but the concentration of kinetic energy into as small of an area as possible. It is for this reason that most armor piercing rounds use jacketed steel or tungsten alloy core, and on a larger scale, why armor-piercing anti-tank ammunitions typically use tungsten alloys or depleted uranium.
