*** Cosmic-Behemoth: Just bloody cool in my opinion, all three of the title characters are fleshed out, interesting characters, Kodos is a gas to listen to; and I dare say there isn't so much as a whiff of chapter zombies, carboard characters, or a mary sue in the least. Just a couple of Deus Ex Machinas, but the badassery surrounding them pretty well overshadows it.

* Synopsis A Space Marine from the Death Spectres Chapter is caught in the warp and is transported to the planet of Azeroth, (a.k.a. Warcraft's setting) and is caught up in a whirlwind of Chaos infestation, Scourge, and wholly unwanted Xenos infatuation. The blood flies and the bodies hit the floor. In the works, very long, and has at least two sequels already planned. Now has its own page.

** This is a really interesting read. It starts out a little disjointed, but the writer quickly warms up, grows his beard and it evolves from a rather disjointed gag series into a really good read by chapter 8 or so. I'd recommend a rewrite for the first few chapters (which are funny, but a little off) but from then on it gets into something awesome. Also, from what I've seen in the reviews, a lot of people like this one. The Omake Collections are related and are as awesome as oneshots go.

* Comments: Probably the best Warhammer 40,000 fanfic out there. The author has spent alot of time thinking things out, and it's already long enough to fit in LOTR style books. Break the status quo in a huge way, which you may like if you're tired of Status Quo being God in WH 40k. Tons of epic moments, characters are fleshed out well. If this was cleaned up a bit and spotted an editor, I could easily see it being published.
* Ugolino: Just going to point out that some readers here weren't quite as enthusiastic and leave it at that.
** In light of my edited comment to be more favorable to Revenant, I'll be more specific. It takes a near-complete ignorance of the setting and a disregard for the fluff to not wince at the writer's butchery of both. The character interactions are odd, the Ultramarine fixation worthy of Matt Ward and twelve-year olds with blue spray-painted armies everywhere, and the plot twists illogical. Also, Dreadnaughts with jump packs. What. The. Feth.
*** To be fair the new Blood Angel 'dex has dreads flying around suspended in the air by the power of positive thinking.
*** Yes, but they're Librarians.

* Comments: Extremely strong writing with good characterization and good storytelling, and the author has put serious thought into the operation of a Vulture gunship group. While the Gaunt's Ghosts series is famous for giving the Guard the appearance of a serious and competent military organization, this story leaves Abnett for dead; they don't look competent, they are competent.
** Despite the, um... enthusiastic endorsement of the above. I second this recommendation.

She made a comic about a Vindicare assassin falling in love with Taldeer from DawnOfWar: Dark Crusade and DawnOfWar: Winter Assault. There was much nerd rage. Then, somebody started writing a fanfic for this fan picture. There was a mixture of nerd rage and delight. Now, without further ado because I can't write explanatory intros worth a damn, Love Can Bloom. Also of note are the MANY offshoots that Love Can Bloom has spawned. Ranging from Core of Brutality, a story about the Eversor hunting the duo, to the continuation in Imber, to Lofn who is just d'aww.

* Synopsis (copied from 1d4chan): Love and Krieg is a collection of short vignettes born from the crazy minds and sappy hearts of a bunch of /tg/ anons tickled by the idea of a Krieger girlfriend. The stories detail the sometimes humorous, often heartwarming events in the relationship between an unnamed, well-meaning Imperial civilian and Krieger Female Model 68b #6345. Each story loosely constituted a date or some outing, most of them tying together without any strict sense of chronology. The end result was something magical, evoking a sense of idyllic innocence rarely found in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium.
* Comments: A CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming for the Warhammer 40,000 setting, which can always use a few more of those. Not sure what else there is to comment on, the stories speak for themselves.

** As different as it is, some things just do not change in this version of the Heresy. Despite being on the side of the angels relatively speaking, Abbadon still hates Horus, Ahriman still is trying to find his way to the Black Library, and so on. Unlike the original Heresy, the Imperium now has completely different flavors of traitor legions to deal with (the Tzeentchian Raven Guard are quite different than the original Thousand Sons, for example).

* Recommended by @/Augustine
* Synopsis: This story is what happens when you skip ahead 3,000 years from the current time. The author's description says it best "13000 years after Horus, the Imperium is at its breaking point. The space marines are dying off and chaos is ready to claim the galaxy. This is the story of the epic conclusion of the Imperium's wars for survival." Every single race is accounted for and the author switches between them throughout the story.
* Comments: This story has not gotten the respect I feel that it deserves. The author mainly works with OC's due to the time period being changed. But the majority of the characters we know and love will make an appearance one way or another. However, there are some plot points that you may not be comfortable with, such as . They did not bother me but YourMileageMayVary. Overall, the author gives a well done conclusion to the entire series, giving a definite ending to every race involved.

** Gadeel: I do find it a very interesting read, but I find the grammatical errors rather distracting, and I'm not talking about Cain and Hotaru's barely passable attempts at speaking High and Low Gothic respectively, otherwise, I'm having fun with this.

* Synopsis: Epic [=WH40k=] / StarWars (post-Yuuzhan Vong, pre-Dark Nest era) crossover. Things start out slow, and then get hectic as the Imperium of Man and Galactic Alliance grudgingly work together to defeat Abaddon's Fourteenth Black Crusade.
* Comments: The writing isn't Shakespeare, and a few elements in the story may seem far-fetched even for these settings, but overall this is an excellent read which captures the epic feel that such a crossover should have, while balancing both sides and giving them each their moment in the limelight. Jampacked with crowning moments of awesome, such as: [[spoiler: when Imperial forces who have turned traitor and have carried out a brutal genocidal war against their former allies, immediately turn tail and flee when they learn Darth Vader has returned, and that he is very, very angry. The Gods of Chaos have nothing on the Dark Lord of the Sith. Also, the Emperor's battle against the Void Dragon.]]

**In light of my edited comment to be more favorable to Revenant, I'll be more specific. What. The. Feth.

** @/Night: Both sides have valid points, but there are other issues. The story will hold your interest for at least twenty chapters and quite possibly longer. The problem is that there are a lot more than twenty chapters, and even the most dedicated reader will reach a point where it seems things are repeating themselves.
