* Comments: For a new work, this is shaping up to be an excellent fanfic. John is a unique and distinct OC character, unlike the common superpowered [[PossessionSue Possession Sues]] often seen in fan works. His relationship with Seras is not immediately romantic, and is rather platonic. The characters' behaviors are excellently crafted and believable.

* Woof's Synopsis: For every tale a beginning. Ten years after a fateful cold November evening in Transylvania, Abraham Van Helsing copes with the dangerous prisoner in his basement...
* Comments: Staying true to both Bram Stoker's characterizations and Kouta Hirano's, the fic is in turn creepy, dramatic and even funny as we follow clever, stoic Van Helsing's duels-of-will with the quirky horror that is Alucard. The fic is abandoned but coincidentally at a point that can be read as an ending.

* Comments: A truly fresh story that both explores the otherwise nigh-untouched backstory of Alucard's time as [[spoiler:Vlad (III) Dracula]], while also dealing with the {{UST}} of Alucard and Integra in a unique way. The use of real historical details only further polishes an already great story.
** FilledeMarius would very much like a word with the author concerning historical details. England being the small, isolated island country that it was, no one from Romania, not even the voivode, would speak English; if they did speak it, it would be Middle English, which Integra would not have understood. Moreover, eyeglasses did exist, but they were for the wealthy and with Integra having no earthly belongings, it would have seemed very strange. Juice was not a common beverage in medieval Romania, either, Vlad was held captive for ten to twelve years, not three months, and a woman would not have fought in such a high position, much less an outsider with dark skin that could easily be a Turkish spy. However, the major problems that this fic suffers from are character derailment and the fact that the author is practically shoving the relationship in one's face. Vlad was a calm, cool customer who had his hands full with pulling up a country with a nonexistent economy controlled by a corrupt government and keeping the Ottomans and Christian Europe appeased; he would not have showed weakness and his interactions with Integra would have been much more formal; the lady herself would have been aware of her position and not acted so rashly nor thrown her long-held virginity aside like yesterday's dinner. There is no subtlety or building on the relationship between them; in less than twenty-four hours, they are a couple with no conflict or problems other than what's going on in the country. The writing is extremely implausible and the wanton cruelty to the common comma doesn't help things. The idea, however, is clever and could work, but this troper would suggest a heavy rewrite.
*** Lightninging here can't say much for historical details, but the writing and the characterization definitely need work. I had a hard time believing that those were even the same characters.

* Comments: A very short, but remarkably in-depth story that gives a staggering amount of dimension to Arthur, Islands, and Penwood in their younger years. Especially notable for making Alucard into TheGhost, and, consequently, considerably more terrifying than he ever was previously.

* Comments: One of the (surprisingly few!) stories set during the CanonFodder-ripe gap between the final two chapters. There are a couple original characters, but they're realistically written and are kept ''very'' secondary to the real cast. Features some good character moments, and great heaping gobs of NightmareFuel, particularly once [[spoiler: TheSlenderManMythos]] starts getting involved.

I found every single canon to be perfectly in-character, and loved the ending [[spoiler: where Seras beats the Slendy clone and then Alucard, in-limbo, runs into him/it]] particularly, as it's not only an awesome moment but also [[spoiler: is some well-needed NightmareRetardant by providing the idea that Slendy can, indeed, be killed]].

* Comments: This is not only one of the best crossovers I've read, but overall one of the best fanfiction I'd the pleasure to set my eyes on. The writing flows with rich dialogue, impeccable characterization, clever setting, masterfully done action scenes and sizzling sexual tension. The worlds are seamlessly meshed together.

* Comments: Having not read Xombie initially, I was unaware if this followed the original Xombie storyline or if it had its' own storyline leading up to it. This is actually a bonus, since the xombie characters that show up are quite a surprise this way. Regardless, it's a story about a vampire and her friends fighting zombies. What more do you need? Well written dialogue, appropriate pacing, and deep as well as canon characterization.
* Apparently there was a sequel in the works, but Largo's work on other stuff brings this into question.

* Comments: Contains Ron bashing, Depressed!Harry and [[spoiler:Slytherin]]!Harry, but has, thankfully, avoided DracoInLeatherPants so far.

* Comments: The begining makes it sound like a cliched "big powerful seme breaks stubborn uke to his will" fic. It's a lot more complicated than that; especially once the plot gets going this fic drags you in and doesn't let go. The character's motivations and emotions are fleshed out and complex, everyone is manipulating everyone else, and the ending will leave you breathless. If you don't mind the occasional NC-17 slashy sex scene, this fic needs to be read.

John is very different from your typical Oc caracter, which is refreshing he is not a powerful vampire who falls in love with one of the main caracters he, is just vampire trying to survive in a world where kind is always being killed by hellsing. I also like how his relationship with seras is shown, its more of a friendship than a romantic one. And there is this certain tension between Seras And Alucard since she is trying to keep anyone from knowing the existence of John.
