* ''Comments'': Among the most well written and compelling stories in this relatively new fanfic category. The characters, and the world around them, are both detailed perfectly, and the fact that [[spoiler: Trudy]] is still alive [[HesJustHiding may be a bonus for some readers]]. The epilogue is particularly fascinating, [[spoiler: detailing the subsequent healing of Earth and legends about Pandora, with a little TearJerker to finish off.]]

* Comments: It is focused primarily on the two OC protagonists. There are three cameos from movie characters, and it features an AlternateCharacterInterpretation about Jake's IdiotBall. The first half is more or less just Jade poking fun at Pandora, but she and the Na'Vi show some strong characterization near the end. Uses [[EmpathicEnvironment Empathetic Weather]] and IronicEcho to rather [[TearJerker sad]] ends at the end. The SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism crawls towards Idealism a bit, but is slammed HARD against the Cynisism end as part of a DoomedByCanon bit. Unless you haven't figured it out by now, don't read the ending unless you have tissues handy. [[spoiler:The Na'Vi accidentally kills Jade during the Battle for the Tree of Souls after falling in love with her and buries her at the Tree of Souls.]]

In short, Unobtainium is a key resource for energy production and a key to avoid WWIV (WWIII is the reason why Earth is in such a sorry state), so there's a new expedition under the UN to Mine Unobtainium, the problem is that both Eywa and the Na'vi are still very pissed off against the humans. Also deals with the fate of the scientists left behind.
** Very well-written. Watching the movie, I was moved to near-indescribable loathing for the Na'vi and Sully, but this fic actually managed to make them seem sympathetic without CharacterDerailment, and actually gives us a great deal of CharacterDevelopment on Selfridge.

* ''Comments'': An interesting alternate ending to the movie, where Trudy becomes even more of a Chekhov's Gunman. Again, not a songfic.

* ''Comments'': A well-thought out AU with several intriguing effects from the single change of Eywa's help never coming, as well as plenty of very moving material as Jake faces the changes in his life.

* ''Comments'': Well, it IS dark, fun to read (well, for us twisted-minded readers who love to see our favourite characters in bad situations), it is sexual, but never pornographic, and it concentrates on Graces feelings and psyche.

* ''Comments'': This is brilliant. In addition to the superb writing style, the addition of the Eldar (who as usual are using the Na'vi as their pawns) makes this a much more balanced conflict than other WH40k/Avatar crossovers, and the possibility [[spoiler: of a Necron presence on Pandora]] has [[{{Understatement}} interesting]] implications for the future of the moon.

Do warn when a fanfic may head into [[EveryoneIsGay homosexual]] or [[BetterThanCanon non-canon]] territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, {{Shipping}} is SeriousBusiness.
