* DisproportionateRetribution: The fic pulls a massive one. The villain, Count Logan, who is [[spoiler:Beast Boy after getting a SuperpoweredEvilSide]], sucks people who were mean to him or otherwise were just living happy lives into his book and kills them. He also has his minions blow up Tamaran because Starfire got together with Robin [[spoiler:when Terra didn't get together with him]]. In fact, the entire reason why he was blowing up the universe was because [[spoiler:of his getting "dumped" by Terra and slights, real, exaggerated or otherwise, from everybody else]].

** The rest of the Teen Titans and the Doom Patrol are [[InformedAttribute ungrateful to Beast Boy]] and learn that their actions were wrong. That's it.

What do you get when you take the plot of a [[VideoGame/SuperPaperMario well-known spinoff game]] and [[TransplantedCharacterFic change the setting and characters]] to reflect the author’s interests? Something close to the lines of this story.

''The End of Ends'' is a fanfic written by Creator/DakariKingMykan, known most infamously for ''Fanfic/MyBravePonyStarfleetMagic''. It’s both made in WebAnimation format as well as a FanFiction adaptation where the story has a FramingDevice wherein an AlternateUniverse Terra and Beast Boy see the events. * AccusationFic: The story calls out the Titans, Patrol, and Terra for all the "wrongdoings" they’ve done to Beast Boy. Mykan even has a name for this kind of fic: "Punishment Fics".

* AnAesop: You can never truly change who you are, and even if you ''do'' change, you are who you are and that can’t change.

* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: [[spoiler:Dr. Beljar makes it really easy for the Titans to not kill Beast Boy, since he takes over control of the Dark Prognosticus, and it’s required that whoever controls the Prognosticus must die in order to close the void. This arguably ends up being a moot point, though, when Beast Boy dies anyway from injuries sustained in the battle.]]

** Count Logan has Count Bleck’s hat and backstory [[spoiler:albeit less impactful and despairing as Bleck’s]]. He also shares Slade’s mask, though chromed. Speaking of Slade, [[spoiler:he also shares the notion of using his real name as an alias]].

* RevengeFic: WordOfGod[[invoked]] specially mentioned that the story was essentially a revenge story straight from his own desk and even justifying the destruction of Tamaran by saying it’s revenge for Starfire and Robin’s relationship. It's also, oddly enough, one directed at Beast Boy for not hooking up with Terra.

** Count Logan's minions seem to have their names based around characters from Franchise/CarmenSandiego. The most common of them is Sir Vile and Dr. Beljar from ''Series/WhereInTimeIsCarmenSandiego''.

* SongFic: Each song is taken from various sources, from ''Series/WhereInTimeIsCarmenSandiego'' to ''Disney/TheLittleMermaid'', and butchered to fit the fic.

* IdiotBall: You wanna know how bad the CaptainObviousReveal[[invoked]] is? In Beast Boy's letter to the Titans, he lists his true name: [[FirstEpisodeSpoiler Garfield]] ''Logan''. And no one, not even Beast Boy's ''former'' group, The Doom Patrol, managed to figure out Count ''Logan'''s true identity.

* DarthVaderClone: [[spoiler:Count Logan, which is unsurprising considering he's an {{Expy}} of Count Bleck who also qualifies for this trope. He wears mostly black, has a cape and mask, is revealed to be someone close to the heroes (Beast Boy), and was DrivenToVillainy [[LoveMakesYouEvil regarding Terra]]. Also, one of the atrocities he commits over the course of the fic is destroying an entire planet.]]

* DrivenToSuicide: Count Logan's plan is essentially to [[spoiler:destroy all the universes and himself]]. Why? [[spoiler:[[DisproportionateRetribution Because he got dumped and thinks nobody likes him due to perceived insults from everybody]] and decided that if he can't be happy, ''no one'' can.]]

* FamilyUnfriendlyDeath: Beast Boy gets killed and we see a picture of his corpse, in which there's been a hole blown through his chest. There's also Galfore, who gets blown to ashes ([[SpecialEffectsFailure or rather Windows Movie Maker Shatter effected to death]]).

* {{Foreshadowing}}: Attempted at Chapter 6, though by that point it stopped being foreshadowing and became a CaptainObviousReveal.

* ItsAllAboutMe: CanonDefilement or not, you can pretty much tell Beast Boy has become this. Simply because the world doesn't bend backwards to his every whim, romantically in the case of Terra, he lashes out at everyone.

* RevengeFic: WordOfGod specially mentioned that the story was essentially a revenge story straight from his own desk and even justifying the destruction of Tamaran by saying it’s revenge for Starfire and Robin’s relationship. It's also, oddly enough, one directed at Beast Boy for not hooking up with Terra.

* WhamEpisode: The fic has two. The first being Episode 9, where Count Logan reveals his true identity ([[CaptainObviousReveal provided the audience doesn't guess beforehand]]) to the Titans and the other in Episode 12, where [[spoiler:Dr. Beljar backstabs Count Logan and becomes the BigBad]].

* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: The fanfic tries to pull Beast Boy off as that, after he falls for the power of [[TomeOfEldritchLore the Dark Prognosticus]] and tries to [[OmnicidalManiac destroy the universe]]. His motivation for doing so is because he can't take life anymore after Terra does not want to come back to the team, following the ending of the show. Subverted by the fact that he comes more off like a whiny little child who thinks breaking up with a girl is worse than losing your parents (or to compare to the WholePlotReference, losing your love) and wants to see everyone suffer. WordOfGod has even stated that he feels Count Logan is what Count Bleck ''should've'' been like.

* OnlyTheChosenMayWield: The Dark Prognosticus can only be used by those whose hearts are filled with hatred.

* {{Hypocrite}}: Beast Boy calls out the other Titans for not being grateful to him for all the nice things he's done but he himself never shows gratitude to them for taking him in, being his friends, and trying to figure out what's troubling him, going so far as [[SelfServingMemory to ignore all that in favour of all the moments they were mad at him]].

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Beast Boy is the protagonist, so his horrible behavior towards Terra and other Titans [[spoiler:as well as trying to destroy the universe out of pettiness]] are completely justified.

* NeverMyFault: Beast Boy claims that the Titans never even once tried to help, even though they tried to figure out what's wrong with him at the start only to be purposely ignored. [[SarcasmMode Great]]. Also, the narration indicates that the Titans and Terra are somehow to blame for Beast Boy stalking the latter, breaking into Raven's room, [[spoiler:deciding to go omnicidal, etc.]].

* ProtagonistCenteredMorality: Beast Boy is the protagonist, so his horrible behavior towards Terra and other Titans [[spoiler: as well as trying to destroy the universe out of pettiness]] are completely justified.

* ThePowerOfLove: Terra realizes who Count Logan really is and how her actions caused his rise to power. She then devotes herself to saving him because deep down, she loves him. This allows her to tap into the powers of the Light Prognosticus and over power Count Logan... [[spoiler:It gets subverted though. All that she managed to do was roughen him up. Had it not been for TheStarscream, Logan wouldn't have changed. It's only when he is mortally wounded that he began to redeem and not even the Power of Love was able to save him]].

* ShockAndAwe: Sir Vile has electrical based powers.

* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: What essentially happens to Beast Boy in this fic, [[spoiler:almost literally.]] He goes from being a creep to [[spoiler:'destroying the entire universe' after he dies and reincarnates into Count Logan.]]
