At this point, Fluttershy gives up trying to tell Rainbow Dash the truth. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]], as in canon Fluttershy is normally a [[ShrinkingViolet ''very'' poor communicator]].

It also makes plain that Rainbow Dash may reciprocate but be too afraid of showing softer emotions to act upon it. Crippling shyness and emotional obliviousness are not the best combination for romantic happiness!
