* AmbiguouslyRelated: [[spoiler: The secondary plot of the story is the mysterious and potentially familial relationship between All for One and Izuku. For some reason, the supervillain went out of his way to not only save Izuku from death, but desperately try to heal his wounds while bonding with the teen. A lot of characters who somewhat know them both, note how similar they are (see below). The only people to declare that they aren't father and son is Bakugou and All for One himself. Except Bakugou, like Izuku, haven't met Izuku's father for at least a decade, was never really a close friend to Izuku and is at the moment in the middle of a months' long HeroicBSOD. All for One's words are also suspect since it's known that he is very manipulative when either telling lies or half-truths. Though he is a little more honest with Izuku, the teen, since the duo's restoration, haven't once seen the villain's full face. With the revelations of One for All, there are heavy hints that both the creation of the quirk along with the disastrous fallout of his fight with All Might, lead to the villain having psychological problems, which may include memory. Thanks also to UnreliableNarrator plus no All for One POV, it's unknown what exactly the villain is thinking, beyond his Izuku obsession.]]

** After learning about the events during Shinsou's captivity, Iida suspects that All for One had decided to replace Shigaraki with Izuku due to the supervillain's interest in Izuku's non- quirk abilities. Bakugou and Todoroki also believe that he's purposefully distracting the villain from his endeavors and to save everyone. These examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** In canon it was noted that while Izuku and his group did save Bakugou, they were still reprimanded, and Eraserhead all but said he should've expelled them all - not only did they break the law, they also put themselves in danger. Here, this concern is justified, as Izuku was seemingly killed by falling debris caused by the nearby fight.
** After one student died in Kamino, UA is put under review by the Ministry of Education to find what exactly happened that caused a student to die in a villain attack.
** While the staff is deciding whether or not to expel the group that went with Izuku, Eraserhead decides against it, noting that it won't actually fix anything - one student is already dead and the rest are either traumatized or barely coping with the guilt of said death, and the fact that not a single student said anything to the staff about the group going to Kamino implied a very large lack of trust that needed to be fixed.

Not So Different has been renamed, and it needs to be dewicked/moved

* AmbiguouslyRelated: [[spoiler: The secondary plot of the story is the mysterious and potentially familial relationship between All for One and Izuku. For some reason, the supervillain went out of his way to not only save Izuku from death, but desperately try to heal his wounds while bonding with the teen. A lot of characters who somewhat know them both, note how NotSoDifferent they are (see below).
