** BadassAdorable: Jack, Ani and Striker can be this when it comes to it, though Tails Doll defines this trope by far.
** BadassBookworm: Calculate the Monkey, while seemingly a bookish type, knows his moves, [[spoiler:especially after his cybernetic upgrades.]]
** BadassGrandpa: Tails, while not in his prime, is still capable of dealing with the much younger [[spoiler:Calculate.]]
** BadassNormal: Lock [[spoiler:the Sniper]], a bounty hunter using nothing but [[GunFu an array of guns,]] is still capable of fighting toe-to-toe with people with superior abilities, such as Callous.

** Tails Doll doesn't seem threatening in the least, does he? When [[DragonAscendant Metal]] [[{{Badass}} Sonic]] himself admits that Tails Doll is one of Eggman's most dangerous creations, he is not exaggerating.

The story centers around an ewe named Jillian Condit, along with her [[{{Nakama}} band of friends]], and the adventures they share. Unfortunately, [[DragonAscendant Neo Metal Sonic]], resurfacing after years of being thought destroyed, boldly announces to the world that he will conquer it, already having taken over Westopolis and GreenHillZone. With not that many options, it falls to Jill and her friends to stop Metal, along with some other figures from Jill's [[DarkAndTroubledPast past...]]

* EvilerThanThou: Metal Sonic's main argument for [[spoiler:training Jill]] is to impose this against Deity and Callous. [[spoiler:OrIsIt?]]

** TheBigGuy: Two of them: Ripper, a mantis with [[SliceAndDiceSwordsmanship four bladed arms]] and [[{{Understatement}} some]] [[AxeCrazy mental issues]], and Hunter, a wolf with [[MindOverMatter telepathic abilities]] and [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent a case of lycanthropy.]] Also, [[spoiler: he's Ani's father.]]

* CompleteMonster: A few characters count as this, though Callous and Johnny are the most prominent.

* ChromeChampion: Neo Metal Sonic, as in SonicHeroes, can use his powers [[ShapeShifting for a]] [[CombatTentacles couple of]] [[InstantArmor purposes.]] Unlike Sonic Heroes, however, Metal takes full advantage of it this time around.

* MoralEventHorizon: Even as a villain, Metal Sonic [[spoiler:killing Shadow the Hedgehog]] was particularily cruel.
* NightmareFuel: The very concept of [[DarkIsEdgy Corruption]]; a supernatural force [[spoiler:created from [[SonicUnleashed Dark Gaia's essence,]]]] which can infect and destroy anything from within, including those who use it for combat purposes. Controlling it basically requires you to hone it beyond a normal lifetime, which in essence means ''shedding yourself of your humanity.''
