As of 2013, Creator/JusSonic has been banned from FanFictionDotNet, so this story and all of the others by this author no longer exist on said site.

* HowDoIUsedTense: One of the major problems with this story (and by extent all of the other works by this author) is that the sentence tenses are all over the place. It's made even more painfully obvious with the DramaticReading.

But what really happens is wangst, (bad) melodrama, and a plot twist you'll see coming a mile away. It might have some solid moments however.

This was the first of several stories in the author's universe, followed by ''Ben's First Day'', ''Happy Birthday, Nyx'', [[FanFic/BlackPonyOfTheFamily ''Black Pony of the Family'']], and ''Lorcan's Wrath'', as well as the side stories ''The Return of an Old Friend'' and ''Lorcan's Rage''. * TheLostLenore: Ben is basically a male version of this, as his disappearance apparently made Twilight give up on dating anypony, afraid they would disappear like he did.
