* In the premiere of ''Series/RizzoliAndIsles'', a serial killer and his apprentice who kidnapped Jane Rizzoli [[WhatAnIdiot leave her alone in a van to check on her grave]]. During this time, Jane looks around the van for something to fight back with and/or break free from her wrist-binding duct tape. As the serial killer returns, Jane lays motionless. The killer prepares to continue cutting her, but finds her body is smoking. He goes in for a closer look, but is burned when Jane pokes him in the eye with the lit end of an emergency flare she found.

* In the ''[[Series/LawAndOrderCriminalIntent Law & Order: CI]]'' episode, "See Me", an optometrist repeatedly operated on several schizophrenic patients too frequently and often in bizarre ways (only operating on one eye or making an incision on the edge of the iris). [[spoiler:As it turns out, he believed that he could treat the visual hallucinations suffered by removing part of the lens. It also turned out that the doctor suffered from schizophrenia as well.]]

* "Heathen", the reviewer for Series/{{ER}} on [[http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/show/er/ Television Without Pity]] refused to describe or even think about eye injuries on the show. Instead, the patient had something in his... toe.

* ''Series/BraveNewWorld'': In the last episode, [[spoiler:CJack]] cuts out his ocular implant.

* ''Series/TheMick'': In one episode, Sabrina throws her high heel shoe when she fights with another girl. She misses, and instead its stiletto heel stabs Mickey's first boyfriend in one of his eyes. Then Ben, [[HarmfulToMinors while watching movies that aren't child-friendly]] (such as ''Film/AClockworkOrange'', ''Film/TheShining'', etc.) [[NauseaFuel pulls the high heel out of her boyfriend's eye and blood bursts out of the eye.]]

** At the end of season 6, [[spoiler: CTU Agent Mike Doyle opens a rigged case only to have it explode directly in his eyes, and the last time we see him he's being wheeled away in an ambulance bleeding from both sockets.]] Jack states that if he's lucky, ''he'll only be permanently blind in '''one'' of his eyes.

** They used this in a season 5 episode, when Stella and Mac go out to drink a cup of coffee. An eyeball drops from the sky (carried by some kind of vulture) right into Stella's cup, and leads them to the rest of the body.
** In season 3, in "Hung Out To Dry," a man was found nailed to a tree through his eye sockets. With railroad stakes. Mac then finds the man's eyeballs in his front pants pocket.

* In the season 1 finale of ''Series/DarkAngel'' Lydecker knocks a man unconscious and spoons out his eyeball (into what looks like a pudding cup) to use for getting past security.

* ''Series/{{Dexter}}'': It's the favourite murder method of the Ukrainian mafia boss in season 7. He kills one guy thrusting a screwdriver into his eye, and threatens Louis Greene, a Miami Metro Homicide ex-intern and pain in Dexter's neck, with a hand drill. [[spoiler:Subverted in the latter case, as he promises to let him go. But he shoots him anyway.]]

** Two Fourth Doctor companions got temporarily blinded by flashes of light - Sarah Jane in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS13E5TheBrainOfMorbius "The Brain of Morbius"]] and Leela in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS15E1HorrorOfFangRock "Horror of Fang Rock"]].

** In episode 1x12, [[BigBad Alpha]] does a two-fisted "bowling ball maneuver" on his handler, with squash and squick ensuing. "I understand hell now!"

** In the penultimate episode of the series, Penguin [[TakingTheBullet shields Nygma from a grenade]] and severely damages - possibly loses - his right eye in the process. While this is used later as a reason for him to don his iconic monocle (it's not clear if his mismatched eye in the finale is glass or merely damaged), we're actually shown the damage the shrapnel did to Cobblepot's face in the immediate aftermath. It's enough to [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness make the Riddler gag]].

** In season 1, Diamondback crashes a meeting of crimelords at Colon's Gym, and kills one of the bossesby throwing a knife into his eye.
** In season 2, Bushmaster's abilities are established as he surprises Nigel Garrison in his home, takes a knife, slices open his face around his eyes, and then breaks his neck.

** In the episode/movie "Incident on and off of a Mountain Road", where the killer (dubbed Moonface) uses a drill press to drill neat holes through victims' skulls--entry point being the eyeballs.

* A ''Series/MontyPythonsFlyingCircus'' animation has a man staring at his television - a series of mechanical devices emerge from the set and runs an abrasive brush over his eyes, pulls them out to bounce around til they suck back in, and taps them back into his skull with a hammer. * ''Series/OrphanBlack'': In the season 2 finale, Sarah shoots a pencil into Rachel's eye. In the season 3 premiere, the camera lingers on a doctor slowly pulling the pencil out. Then in season 5, [[spoiler: Rachel gouges out her own artificial eye Odin-style when she realizes there's a camera inside it]].

** The premiere episode of season four had a psychic seeing the true face of an angel (Cas), and in turn had her eyes burned out, complete with blood streaking down her face, and her eye sockets being a black void of nothing.
** Before he occupies his human vessel, Cas burns out the eyes of a pack of demons. And in another episode, when Michael melts a human to death ( he is talking to Zachariah at the time), and his victim's eyes are shown to be empty sockets.

** Season eight introduces us to Naomi, a heavenly torturer whose primary method of extracting information and/or brainwashing apparently involves drilling through her subject's eye.

* A season 2 episode of ''Series/TeenWolf'' has a snake crawl out of Jackson's eye.

** In season one, the most conspicuous injury (and the injury to which the most attention is paid) that [[spoiler:Brandon]] receives when he undergoes torture at the hands of the Barksdale gang is that one of his eyes is gouged out, while the other is left not only intact, but open after death.

* In ''Series/TheDarkCrystalAgeOfResistance,'' we learn how the Skeksis Scientist got his cybernetic eye. He allowed a [[OurElvesAreDifferent Gelfling]] soldier to escape with news of their plans of genocide, so the Emperor sentenced him to have his right eye eaten by an insect called a "peeper beetle." While we get a GoryDiscretionShot, we also hear it munching for a few seconds after the screen cuts to black. It's also discussed, as the Chamberlain explains what the insect does and why it's kept around, as a threat to another Gelfling soldier who's asking too many questions-if they'll do that to an equal, what'll they do to someone they think is as far beneath them as something they have for dessert at parties?
