* This happens almost literally in ''Series/TokusouExceedraft'' when Hayato has a fist fight with {{Satan}}. Satan spends most of the fight beating him down but Hayato gets one lick in that actually makes Satan bleed. It's followed up by Hayato firing his {{BFG}} at him and blowing him into oblivion. Yep, Hayato literally ''kills the Devil'', the source of evil, in the final episode. No wonder the series ended after that.

*** Taken [[UpToEleven a step further]] in the ''Angel and Faith'' comics as part of Season 9. [[spoiler:Angel and Faith go to Quor'toth, the dimension Connor was imprisoned in during Season 3 of Angel. Once there, they inadvertently awaken Quor'toth, the extremely powerful Old One residing there. Willow then proceeds to fight it, one-on-one. ''And wins''. Keep in mind, this was an Old One so bad that its dimension is called "the darkest of the dark worlds".]]

* ''Series/SesameStreet'', of all shows, had a moment like this. Big Bird's subplot in ''Film/DontEatThePictures'' (a special involving the ''Sesame'' characters visiting a museum) involved him and Snuffleupagus helping the 4,300-year-old ghost of an Egyptian boy confront the god Osiris when he refused to let the boy into the afterlife. Repeat: ''The six-year old Big Bird confronted a god and told him he was wrong''. '''And won'''. And that's after he successfully defeated a demon played by [[Creator/JamesMason James freakin' Mason]]!

*** Prior to that, Sheridan dropped a couple of 500 megaton nuclear warheads on Z'Ha'Dum, the Shadows' home world.
*** Sheridan was also responsible for setting of the nuclear device that shut down the Thirdspace artifact and sent the aliens back to their home dimension. Sheridan has a track record of punching out Cthulhu...
