Mukuro is one of the three kings of the Demon realm - despised by Yomi as a "chaos preaching tyrant", somewhat liked by Raizen, but more or less feared by ''everyone'' for being shady and unpredictable. Discovering Hiei while preparing for war and, after testing his strength against Shigure, Mukuro placed him as second in command. Mukuro is quick to agree when Yusuke proposes the demon world tournament, battling with Hiei and winning but then ending up up losing to Enki in the final round.

* TheDreaded: She has a reputation as this throughout the Demon realm, but is a subversion. While [[CombatPragmatist she is ruthless in battle]], but she is no where as cruel as her enemies would portray her as via in-universe RonTheDeathEater propaganda. Raizen, as one of the few individuals outside of her domain who know her in any personal way, confirms that she is not this trope.

* TheCoup: In this case, the True Disciples goals is to [[spoiler: to restore the Deposed ruler Enma back onto the throne]].
* DeathRay / WaveMotionGun: What they plan on using as their FinalSolution against [[spoiler: Sarayashiki, Japan]] if their demands are not met.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Their opposition to the changes brought about by [[spoiler: the new Spirit World government led by King]] Koenma is strongly reminiscent of {{Right Wing Militia Fanatic}}s that were active during TheNineties. * TheMagicVersusTechnologyWar: In this case, Sei-Sei Shinto's Spirit World {{Magitek}} against Team Urameshi's members' SupernaturalMartialArts. Despite outnumbering the heroes thirty-three to four, the True Disciples were easily beaten. [[spoiler: The Interdimensional laser, on the other hand, remained as one thing Team Urameshi could not over come with brute force]].
* OrderVersusChaos: They are the order to the [[DesignatedVillain perceived]] anarchy of Demons. Though the order that Sei-Sei Shinto wishes to impose would better be described as [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans Tyranny]].

* SuperiorSpecies: What they believe to be the case with Spirit World in regard to its inhabitants' [[WhiteMansBurden "right" to rule over Humans]].
