A friendly NiceGuy who is quite an airhead. He is the older brother of Nagisa. He also has been friends with Ayase since childhood and they are officially dating. At school, he is quite popular and a member of the Gardening Club. There, he always helps and encourages Sonoko, a bullied girl and his classmate. All of these three girls are in love with him, but he is unaware of it.

Because he is so airheaded and ObliviousToLove, he never ends up well in any scenario. [[spoiler:[[DownerEnding In Nagisa’s track, he is stabbed to death after being immobilized of his legs and being forced to eat Nagisa’s food. A pair of amoral twins who befriend the Protagonist after meeting him in the park. However, they started to become more obsessed with the Protagonist, often asking him to play, even when he did not have the time to do it. After long days of him evading the twins, they arrive to his house carrying some weapons in order to play the last game...

Cousin of the Protagonist. After his parents went on vacations, she took care of him and gradually fell in love with him. However, due to his SelectiveObliviousness, he prefers to ignore it. Yumemi gradually got suspicious of the existence of rivals, because he is oblivious to her love. Nagisa is the younger sister of the Protagonist. She loves him dearly, but he is oblivious to this. She also does the housework and cooks dinner for him, because of their absent parents. Later, Nagisa goes well off the hook, feeling that her brother has been spending time with Ayase and Sonoko rather than her.

Ayase is the Protagonist's childhood friend. She has a massive crush on him and wants to marry him someday. Apparently, they are dating, but she might be a UnreliableNarrator. She is clingy, lively, outgoing and cheerful around him but later starts becoming jealous and paranoid, thinking that he is spending more time with Nagisa and Sonoko.

A shy and meek girl from the Gardening Club who is often bullied by her classmates. The Protagonist was the only one who stood for her and was nice towards her. Because of it, she develops a crush on him. However, he only regards her as a classmate and holds no feelings towards her. She does not see it that way and believes that they are dating. That’s why she becomes jealous of Ayase, his clingy childhood friend.

A honest yet kind DeadpanSnarker. His parents are currently away on vacations, so his cousin Yumemi is currently taking care of him. Unlike the first Protagonist, who was oblivious to the girls crush on him, he is shown to be aware of it, but he is insensitive about the other girls feelings, because he is too kind and does not want to hurt their feelings. He also is afraid of the fact that each of the girls want to claim him for themselves. To his own misfortune, he is honest to a fault and woefully ignorant when it comes to matters of love, earning the girls’ wrath and frustration.

Because of his SelectiveObliviousness, he never ends up well in any scenario. A sheltered shrine maiden who's extremely devoted to her god. One day she met the Protagonist, and she was charmed by his kindness, to the point she started to refer him as her new god. However she grew jealous of his closeness to Sakuya, causing Iori to believe that she has been tainted by the world because she sacrificed her connection with God and her powers due of her love to the Protagonist.

!!Third Protagonist
A kind and carefree yet blunt and direct boy. He is a long distant relative of the Sakuranomiya sisters who just happens to be in their same school. Elise develops a massive crush and attachment to him and they later start dating. However siscon jealous sister Alice starts flirting with him in order to separate them. He also founds a robot maid whom he calls Yumia, whose he found in the garbage. He also has a part-time job, where he is slightly attracted to his kohai and co-worker Tomoe.

Because he is InnocentlyInsensitive and blunt to a fault, he never ends up well in any scenario. [[spoiler:Well, with the exception of Elise’s track, in which she kills Alice and they live a happy, normal life. In the other endings, he is not so lucky.
