* NotSoDifferent: She and Shiratori have a lot more in common than they think, as the manga points out from time to time. They both have combative personalities, both are highly emotional and both have love interests that have a personality completely opposite to theirs.

* NotSoDifferent: Despite the fact that they clash so much, Reina and Shiratori are so alike that it's constantly lampshaded.

* NotSoDifferent: She's just as every bit as secretly caring and nice as Reina. They probably could be good friends if Nanami would stop being deliberately antagonistic.

* TheAce: Subverted. He ''would'' be this if anybody treated him with any respect - he ''is'' good at sports and academics, good looking, and popular with the ladies...except the girls like his [[{{Adorkable}} adorkability]] and Manabu and Reina treat him as an UnknownRival and ButtMonkey.
