* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Ajax walks in Wade's room, tells him he ''could'' speak in euphemisms ("This may hurt", "take a deep breath", etc.), but since he's completely insensitive (both [[TheSociopath emotionally]] and [[FeelNoPain physically]]) he doesn't really give a crap, so he just says what he'll actually do: Torture Wade mercilessly until his mutant gene activates. Then he proceeds to do exactly that.

* BossInMookClothing: During the highway fight, Ajax is disguised as one of the convoy's bikers. Wade ignore him as just another mook, though he is more competent at dodging Wade's attacks than the other mooks.

* NotAfraidToDie: Due to not having much of a capacity for feeling emotions he doesn't appear to be all that worried about the prospect of dying even though he will avoid it if there's a way out. In fact [[spoiler:when he's at Deadpool's mercy he just mocks him one last time and when Colusses tries to give a stereotypical [[KirkSummation "Be a Hero"]] speech to convince Deadpool to [[SaveTheVillain spare Ajax]] he seems mildly annoyed by it and fully aware that Deadpool is about to kill him anyways.]]

* TheSociopath: He observes that he can't feel anything both in the sense of not feeling any pain and in the sense of feeling no emotional response. Deadpool even calls him a psychopath.

* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: His lack of pain sensors and enhanced reflexes allow him to be strong enough to NeckLift and take punishment he shouldn't be able to shrug off just because he feels no pain. The only real explanation is that he ha UninhibitedMusclePower as a side effect.

* KarmaHoudini: He escapes Wolverine's rampage in ''Apocalypse''. However a deleted scene shows him being arrested by Moira [[=MacTaggert=]] over his actions, not least of which being assaulting and abducting a ''federal officer''.

* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: In ''Film/XMenApocalypse'', [[spoiler:his presence literally comes out of nowhere. His part of the film was essentially there to capture the characters and have no barring on the plot, other than for an excuse for Weapon X's rampage and Logan's escape afterwards.]]

* BrawnHilda: Deadpool always refers to her in mockingly masculine terms.
