* FauxAffablyEvil: Ajax can be chatty and snarky from time to time, but it's nothing more than a facade. He can even keep up his act while torturing people.

* HateSink: A high ranking member of the Weapon X program, and the one responsible for Deadpool's creation. Under the guise of making those that come under his care "superheroes", he subjects them to weeks of torture to awaken their mutant gene before selling them off to the highest bidder. Kidnapping Vanessa and locking her in an oxygen chamber, he laughs maliciously, revealing that there was no cure for Deadpool's transformation.
* HealingFactor: He laments, after escaping a thorough beating at the hands of Deadpool, that he doesn't have one like him. That said, Ajax's unnatural ability to ignore incapacitating wounds implies he must have some form of healing ability and/or enhanced touhgness after all.

* StupidEvil: At the end when he's beaten, Wade demands that he fix his deformities. Ajax just [[KickTheDog laughs and says how stupid Wade is for believing he could really do that.]] Wade replies that [[LampshadeHanging it's not as stupid as admitting he can't do the one thing he's keeping him alive for.]]

* BerserkButton: He doesn't flip out over it like most examples, but his facial expressions and CatchPhrase makes it clear that he hates being called Francis.

* CatchPhrase: "What's my name?"

* AdaptationalBadass: In the comics, Angel Dust's SuperStrength [[StrongAsTheyNeedToBe varies wildly,]] but typically tops out around [[Franchise/SpiderMan Spider-Man-level]]. In the film, she is powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with ''Colossus.''

* BoobsOfSteel: The physically strongest woman of the movie, and also the one with most cleavage.

* SuperStrength: Although he doesn't mention it among the combo of superpowers granted by his mutation, Ajax is clearly much stronger than a regular human, bending a thick iron bar with his bare hands or sending Deadpool flying through crates with a mere punch. It might be explained by UninhibitedMusclePower if it were the only oddity on his skillset.

* AnAxeToGrind: Pulls out two of them for the final fight, since he knows Deadpool can regenerate from explosions and small wounds such as bullet wounds, so Francis figures chopping the limbs off clean is a more efficient way to disable him.

* SuperToughness: In addition to not feeling pain, Ajax has an incredible tolerance for physical injury. While he lacks Deadpool's accelerated healing, wounds that would disable or even kill a normal human are little more than a papercut. His blood also seems to clot a lot faster than a normal human as he rarely spills more than few drops even when impaled through a limb which would normally exsanguinate a person in seconds. [[Spoiler: Only an instant kill shot through the brain seems to stick.]]

* AmazonianBeauty: She ''is'' played by Gina Carano, after all. Deadpool seems to disagree, but during the WardrobeMalfunction, Colossus calls her a "beautiful lady".

* GiantSpaceFleaFromNowhere: In ''Film/XMenApocalypse'', [[spoiler:his presence literally comes out of nowhere. His part of the film was essentially there to capture the characters and have no bearing on the plot, other than for an excuse for Weapon X's rampage and Logan's escape afterwards.]]

* AmbigiouslyGay: Angel Dust seems to recognise Vanessa from a photo which raises questions on how she knows her. People don't normally recognise strangers unless there was at least one memorable experience, so it is possible that she may have been a client of Vanessa at one point. Then there is fact she knows where to find her, which was a strip club.

* AssholeVictim: The tears that were shed when this bastard bit it were hopefully either non-existent or of [[TearsOfJoy joy]].

* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: Despite the fact that his skillset is described as "only" enhanced reflexes and no pain sensors, he is strong enough to NeckLift a man his own size and tough enough to fight through punishment he shouldn't be able to shrug off just because he feels no pain. The only real explanation is that his reflex power includes UninhibitedMusclePower as a side effect, but that still doesn't explain his absurd durability.

* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: As a result of feeling no pain, he reacts very casually to things like being impaled by a katana. Less explainable by his lack of pain is that he doesn't even show trouble for breathing or moving with the damn thing on it.

* NotSoAboveItAll: Falls for Wade's "made you look," and took the name Ajax because he was apparently embarrassed by his real name, Francis.
