The moment he hears of what he thinks is a threat to his charge, he goes full-on LeeroyJenkins. In Chapter 31, Princess Violet has to physically restrain him to stop him from starting a war.

* DidNotThinkThisThrough: Yeah, accusing Sun of being a Blue Garden spy to the impetuous Princess Violet was a good way to spite Zeshald, but only if Sun could somehow be shown to be in collusion with Blue Garden. He obviously failed to take this into account.

* DidNotSeeThatComing: He was openly shocked that Sun was strong enough to fight off his rape attempt and kick him in the groin.

* DidNotSeeThatComing: Both King Shinha's invasion, and their fate upon reaching Blue Garden took them completely by surprise.

Furthermore, they routinely left their most classified materials in easy reach for whomever managed to get into the tower. So when they fled, they left all their dirty laundry for Shinha to find.

* DidNotThinkThisThrough: He and his squad storm the inn where Yusuke and his allies are supposedly sleeping, knowing full well about Yusuke's ability, but didn't count on expecting anything unusual whatsoever.

* DidNotSeeThatComing: He and his followers were ''stunned'' when Princess Violet attended the "trial" where Yusuke was being formally charged of sabotaging their "elite anti-evil beast squad" with defective equipment, and actually acted like a proper ruler instead of the flighty TomboyPrincess they expected.

* DesperatelySeekingAPurposeInLife: In the light novel, she makes clear that since she was raised by Zeshald after the death of her father, all she's known is being pampered and coddled, now that she's with Yusuke, she's seeking a way she can be useful, not just for his sake, but for her own. [[spoiler: She finds her purpose as a member of Dark God squad.]]

* WhyDidItHaveToBe: Divinists terrify her.

* BerserkButton: It is very difficult to offend Yusuke. Even when the Wind Troupe of Blue Garden went after him in Gear Hawk, and he witnessed numerous of their attrocities, he went into a state of DissonantSerenity. Harm or even offend Sun, however, and his composure goes flying right out the window, as princess Violet can testify.

* TheMole: Was manipulated by Vormest into spying on Zeshald.
* UnwittingMole: To "convince" her to spy on Zeshald, Vormest stages an incident with four of his subordinates who try and rape her, and then "coincidentally" show up to stop them.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: At the end of the Blue Garden civil war he launched, his assets are seized, and used to compensate his victims for the damages he caused, [[spoiler: although half of them wind up "missing," presumably stolen by Vormest.]]

* WhipItGood: She wields a flaming whip in battle.

* AboveTheInfluence: He is completely unfazed when naked prostitutes try to seduce him, and can handle InnocentCohabitation with not just Sun, but with a HighClassCallGirl who officially makes herself his concubine, and a woman raised from childhood to be a FemmeFataleSpy who becomes his slave, and the girls who live with him all love him for it.

* InnocentCohabitation: With Sun, though most of the villagers of Rufu wouldn't mind if it wasn't so innocent, especially Ms. Bahana. He later adds an official concubine and female slave to the list. The manga also adds a mansion full of professional maids whom he ''never'' lays a hand on.

* [[DefrostingIceQueen Defrosting Ice King]]: At first he's very suspicious and hostile towards Yusuke, which is understandable, as Yusuke's an unknown commoner with strange magical powers who randomly befriended his charge, Princess Violet. However, over time he realises that Yusuke is an honourable person, and appreciates all that he does on behalf of Violet and the kingdom, becoming one of Yusuke's staunchest allies in the royal court.

* AboveTheInfluence: UpToEleven. He is completely unfazed when naked prostitutes try to seduce him, and can handle InnocentCohabitation with not just Sun, but with a HighClassCallGirl who officially makes herself his concubine, and a woman raised from childhood to be a FemmeFataleSpy who becomes his slave, and the girls who live with him all love him for it.
