* InspectorJavert: She's very dedicated to finding and capturing Perseus. While her justification of her mission is to apprehend him for stealing the bracelets, it turns out that it's very personal because she and Perseus were close only to feel betrayed. Her mission ends when Da Ji captures Perseus, [[spoiler:who is actually Loki]]. In her camp conversation, Athena denies that her pursuit is personal and claims that she's doing it solely out of duty.

Half-demon character from ''VideoGame/TrinitySoulsOfZillOll''. He is heralded as one of the legendary heroes of the era and is the righteous heir to the Dyneskal throne. He is pulled into the WO universe (along with part of his homelanf) and aids the Resistance since he senses they share the same cause.

* BelatedBackstory: His origin is finally revealed in ''Ultimate''. [[spoiler:He was once the great celestial general, Yinglong, who rebelled against his master only because he believed that the Emperor was enslaving demons with a magical mirror and using them for nefarious purposes. Unfortunately, [[FallenHero shattering the mirror in the name of giving them free will corrupted him into Orochi.]]]]

* ItIsPronouncedTroPay: Her name has the same umlaut usage for the "u" as with Lu Bu and Lu Meng's names; as a result, her name is more accurately meant to be said as "Nur-wa" in pinyin.

For unclear reasons, this serpent generic somehow has a little more important role than any other of his fellow generics. Similar to Gyuki and Dodomeki, except that he never become playable, until ''Warriors Orochi 4''.

The real Perseus, son of Zeus and Danae. Loki borrowed his looks and identity prior to the start of the fourth game. Perseus finally makes his appearance in the expansion.

* MovesetClone: Averted. Despite wielding the same weapon as Loki, his moveset is entirely different. They even have different character classification (Loki is Technique-type while Perseus is Power-type).

* GenderFlip: This may be a nod to ''Saiyuki: Journey West'', a Tactical RPG produced by Koei for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation where you could choose the gender of Sanzang.
** May also be a nod to old stage play versions of the original ''Journey to the West'' where female actors portrayed Sanzang himself.

* AlternateCharacterReading: Orochi has two different kanji for his name. The one Koei went with is 遠呂智.

* AlternateCharacterReading: Note that in the Asian versions, his name isn't actually read as Orochi as in 大蛇 (lit. Great Serpent/Snake), but instead is rendered as 遠呂智 (lit. Distant Spine Wisdom) to imply a different character somewhat altogether (especially since the Japanese version just calls him a Maou/Demon King instead of calling him a snake).

* GuideDangIt: In ''Warriors Orochi 4'' Hundun is only unlockable once you have completed the Story Mode (not including the side missions), then you have to go to the mission where he's in, select the Pandemonium difficulty, defeat him three times in a row, and achieve three S ranks. However, there are some cases where he can be unlocked randomly.
* MultiArmedAndDangerous: He has four hands, all carrying hatchets.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Has wild brownish white hair.
* SecretCharacter: In the fourth game, players can unlock him if they can beat three times in a row on the any stage where he is present and after they finished with the Story Mode.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Wears only a neck armor for the torso.

* AnythingThatMoves: In his camp conversation with Nobunaga, he tells him if something happens to him, he's going to take his wife and his pageboy to Mount Olympus. Of course, No is beautiful but he also consider Ranmaru beautiful too which is not surprising if one remembers his abduction on Ganymede in mythology.[[note]]Ganymede is a handsome Trojan prince who is whisked away by Zeus to Mount Olympus and became his cupbearer. Several myths explained that Zeus is charmed by his beauty and Hera, Zeus's wife, is very jealous of him. Ganymede is often regarded as a symbol (or in cases, god) of homosexuality.[[/note]] He also flirts with Zhenji, who is a married woman.

* BigLittleBrother: He is Hades' younger brother, but looks a generation older. Judging by one of Zeus' comments, Hades used to look old as well, but chose to take a younger form this time.

* GoodAllAlong: Initially, the characters believe that Zeus rebuilds the world for selfish reasons. [[spoiler:But in truth, he's preparing them to fight against Odin because he's very concerned that he would conquer and destroy other worlds which includes the Mystic realm and the human world. The problem is that [[PoorCommunicationKills he's too secretive of his plans]].]]

* IDidWhatIHadToDo: His reason of merging the time periods again and bringing the heroes and mystics into the newly rebuilt world [[spoiler:is to test whether they have enough power to help him defeat Odin. He considers this a risky gamble because Odin's so bent on conquest and destruction that it would affect the other worlds. The new world is meant as a trap for Odin. He's also let Odin resurrect Orochi but it's merely a test for the humans]].
* IWasQuiteALooker: Downplayed. The image of Zeus are mostly associated as a GrandpaGod with grey hair and beard. In this game, though? He's blond and his beard is a bit shaven, depicting Zeus almost at the end of his prime.
* IntriguedByHumanity: He witnessed the events of the three previous and is amazed on how they worked together to defeat Orochi and Hydra before heading back to their time periods. This motivates him to merge both worlds again by creating the bracelets and letting the humans wear it so that the supernatural beings such as himself can enter the new world. [[spoiler:All of this is because he believes that humanity is capable of defeating Odin]].

** He's amazed and amused on how humanity managed to defeat Orochi and Hydra in the previous games and he wants to make things a lot better by dropping the bracelet into the mortal realm which would merge both the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku Periods. The entire reason of this is because [[spoiler:he wants to test if the humans can help him defeat Odin by letting them fight each other and joining in their fight too. Of course, he takes account for the misunderstanding and apologizes for it. But again, he did let Odin resurrect Orochi and let Loki do whatever he wants]].
** In his camp conversation with Ares who underwent CharacterDevelopment, he gets called out by the latter for his manipulation on the humans. Even though he explains that he wants to see humanity's potential, Ares doesn't buy his father's bullshit and threatens him if he's ever going to harm the humans for his own amusement, he's going to pay for that. Zeus understands the threat but he would continue to mess with the humans. Then again, Zeus in Greek mythology is a bigger asshole.

* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Her weapon is the Aegis Shield, which she uses to throw, spam lasers and crush enemies when enlarged.
* MsFanservice: Athena is a goddess with a gorgeous body clad in a skimpy armor/chiton combo that exposes much of her cleavage, arms and legs. Taken up a notch when she unmasks and reveals her beautiful face and blonde hair.

* LightningBruiser: Has the mobility of a Speed-type character, but is actually Power-type, so he [[ImmuneToFlinching shrugs off many-types of regular attacks]] and hits ''hard''.

* JokeCharacter: This is his position right down to having the same moveset as his boss.

* InstantAwesomeJustAddDragons: He holds two dragon-shaped spears which can turn into a dragon called Typhon [[DragonRider which he can ride on it]] and use it to breathe fire, suck in enemies and blow them away.

The Shinto God of the Sea and Storms, bent on stopping Orochi. He is also the one who slayed the Yamato-no-Orochi/Hydra in the original Japanese myth.

* BigDamnHeroes: When Nuwa and Nezha are pinned down by a [[spoiler:deified Cao Pi and Zhao Yun]], he personally steps in to lend the other two aid, and joins the cause

* TheDreaded: When Susanoo makes his entrance at Tong Gate, Kaguya ''immediately'' warns the alliance to refrain from attacking him.
* HolyHalo: Unlike Nuwa's and Shennong's western-style halo, though, Susanoo has the more Asiatic flaming halo variant.

* MythologyGag: His main weapon is the Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi (a.k.a. Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi), one of the Imperial Regelia of Japan which he bestows to his sister, Amaterasu. His Sacred Treasure is the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi which is actually his sword used to kill Orochi in Japanese mythology.
