* TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: [[spoiler:After clearing chapter 6, Ortho joins the Film Appreciation Club, making him the only first year student so far (Grim and Yuu not withstanding) who is part of the culture club while the other first years are part of the sports clubs.]]

* SkewedPriorities: In the ''Ghost Marriage'' event story, he cares more about not being able to read the Manga he had been anticipating if he were to marry the bride and be whisked off to the spirit world than he does about losing his life.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Lilia implies that Idia is human in the event ''Ghost Marriage,' but with features such as hair made entirely of blue flames, impossibly pale skin, [[ScaryTeeth pointy teeth]] and naturally blue tinted lips, there is left room for doubt. Other humans introduced have been identical to humans of the player's world, sans their natural unique hair and eye colors. While he doesn't fit into the description of the other two races- fae or beastman, him being at least completely human seems questionable. [[Book 6 reveals that the Shrouds are human, but of a cursed lineage, resulting in their easily identifiable appearance.]]

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Lilia implies that he's human in the event ''Ghost Marriage'', but one has to wonder how he could possibly be human with hair made entirely of blue flames, deathly pale skin, [[ScaryTeeth pointy teeth]] and naturally blue tinted lips when every other human seen so far has looked normal. While he's definitely doesn't fit into the description of the other two races introduced (fairy and beastmen), him being at least completely human seems questionable.

* BerserkButton: In Idia’s SSR Dorm Uniform personal story, Idia hates when someone insults or cyberbullying his favorite band, ''Fates on the Edge'' website. He will use hacking skills to find their IP, ban users' access, and delete their comments.

* UncertainDoom: [[spoiler:After Malleus’ overblot and uses his unique magic to make the entire Sage’s island population into eternal sleep, it is unknown if Idia was affected by it or not since he was the only one who didn’t go to Lilia's farewell party. Part 3 reveals that he is affected by Malleus's magic despite not being present in the party due to being functionally human, but Ortho is not due to Ortho being humanoid.]]

* CloningBlues: Technically. [[spoiler:As an android and AI made in the image of the real Ortho, Ortho is at some parts, aware that he may not be able to fully live up to being a perfect replacement to the original Ortho, but he still cares about Idia so much that he gets manipulated by Phantom Ortho over it]].

That said, chapter 7 reveals that they are still involved in Idia's life in some manner such as when Idia recalled a NoodleIncident of his past where they chew him out for destroying the living room by messing around with the drones in S.T.Y.X. and ultimately help him in organizing Ortho's enrollment as a student at the end of Chapter 6. When they showed up in Chapter 7 part 3, the parents interaction with Ortho hints that they had a positive relationship with him and Idia though they focus more time on their work for S.T.Y.X. more often than not.]]
