* UnwittingPawn: In ''Manga/SilentSinnerInBlue'', when Ran tells Remilia that Yukari is planning to invade the Moon, Remilia immediately starts looking for a way to get there before Yukari -- which was exactly what Yukari expected her to do. * NoPronunciationGuide: Her name is officially pronounced as "Chi-ru-no" despite the romanization, but many western fans have a habit of constantly pronouncing her name as "Sir-no" because of the way it is spelled in English.

* DivergentCharacterEvolution: While all vampires are [[LightningBruiser extremely strong, fast and tough]], fanworks often interpret Flandre as slightly [[MightyGlacier slower]] or [[GlassCannon less durable]] than her sister due to lack of exercise (and less aerodynamic wings). A GlassCannon depiction tends to be more common in fangames (assuming she's not AwesomeButImpractical or PurposelyOverpowered), while fancomics lean more towards MightyGlacier so that she can be an ImplacableMan.

She can't control herself, so she's generally not allowed out, and doesn't really try going out herself either. In conversation, she'll occasionally go off on a tangent or jump back to a previous subject; she's said to be "always peculiar", making it difficult for others to understand her.

* DarkSkinnedBlond: She picks up a tan come ''Hidden Star in Four Seasons'' as a result of the seasonal energy powering her up.

* PunchedAcrossTheRoom: In ''Hisoutensoku'', her ''Red Cannon'', ''Attack Sign: "Roc Fist"'', and ''Fiery Attack "Roc Killing Fist"''. Each is an upward punch that sends the opponent flying at a very sharp upward angle for a good distance. How far they fly depends on the attack. Roc Killing Fist tends to send the opponent completely off-screen for at least three seconds. Fan depictions sometimes give her the "Chuugoku Satsu", a parody of the [[StreetFighter Shun Goku Satsu]] (Chuugoku = China).

** During her brief time as a playable character in ''Immaterial And Missing Power'', she has variations of [[StreetFighter Yun]]'s moves.

* FightOffTheKryptonite: Flandre's scenario in ''Gouyoku Ibun'' consists of Okina teaching her how to fight around running water (or running oil, in this case) so that she can face Yuuma.

* GetAHoldOfYourselfWoman: She does this to ''Reimu'' in ''Gouyoku Ibun'' in the penultimate fight to the TrueFinalBoss in her route, being absolutely disappointed seeing the miko who defeated her acting so despondent and seemingly running from an enemy. It takes Reimu fighting her to a standstill for Flandre to be satisfied that Reimu's still got it, before Reimu explains to her that the only reason she bowed out against Yuuma was that it was physically impossible for her to win.
* AGodAmI: Proudly declares herself a God of Destruction in ''Gouyoku Ibun.''
* GracefulInTheirElement: After spending all of ''Gouyoku Ibun'' having to avoid running water and oil, the second half of the FinalBoss fight involves running... [[spoiler:blood. As you might expect, Flandre's handicap being flipped ends poorly for Yuuma]].

* KillItWithWater: Shares Remilia's weakness to running water, though in ''Gouyoku Ibun'' she gains a higher resistance to it thanks to Okina.

* PreFinalBoss: She's the penultimate boss of the Yorigami sisters' scenario in ''Gouyoku Ibun'', the two having been transported to the Scarlet Devil Mansion by Okina in order to serve as implied target practice for Flandre.
* PromotedToPlayable: One of the playable characters in ''VideoGame/TouhouGouyokuIbunSuibotsuShitaChinshuuJigoku''.
* PublicDomainArtifact: Has an attack named after [[Myth/NorseMythology Laevatein]], the "Wounding Wand of Loki". This is commonly thought to be the oddly-shaped staff Flandre carries in her portrait, although the ''Grimoire of Marisa'' describes the attack as an [[{{BFS}} enormous]] FlamingSword. Most fans usually assume that the massive flaming sword is generated ''from'' the staff when Flandre wishes so, which makes some sense, and the interpretation ''Gouyoku Ibun'' goes with.

* SociopathicHero: In ''Gouyoku Ibun'', Flandre is still an AxCrazy, literally bloodthirsty BloodKnight with zero real morals of any kind, but is still one of the lead heroines [[spoiler:thanks to being Okina's counter for Yuuma.]]

* VoluntaryShapeshifter: Like her sister, Flandre can also shapeshift into a bat. Oddly enough, her unique wings don't carry over to bat form. In ''Gouyoku Ibun'' its used as her air dash.

* WorthyOpponent: Has this in ''Gouyoku Ibun'' towards Utsuho and Reimu, being the only two opponents Flandre faces that she doesn't actually defeat so much as battles to a draw, and their post-battle mugshots don't even show battle damage like the rest. She acknowledges the two personally on top of that, wanting to keep fighting Utsuho before Okina pulls her away, and holding Reimu in especially high regard when they meet again, aghast that Reimu would be showing weakness of any kind. The epilogue heavily implies Yuuma is this now as well, as she's perfectly happy to fight her again since she can just revive if Flandre kills her.

* KnifeThrowingAct[=/=]WilliamTelling: Her entry in ''Perfect Memento in Strict Sense'' states that she can hit a fairy maid with an apple on her head [[SubvertedTrope right between the eyes]] from a hundred feet away.
