!!Lumiose Trainer Academy Friends / Classmates

[[folder: Alya Césaire / Delphox Rouge]]
Marinette's best friend and travelling companion. Alya is an aspiring journalist who dreams of working at Lumiose Press, scouring Kalos with her best friend in hopes of uncovering the region's greatest mysteries and discovering more about Mega Evolution. A girl with a strong sense of justice and a fan of superheroes, she quickly becomes the Defenders of Kalos' biggest fan -- not knowing that Lady Ledian is Marinette. [[spoiler: In Chapter 29, her internship to Lumiose Press has been accepted and she has to leave Marinette occasionally. Alya takes her love of superheroes up a notch by becoming one herself upon acquiring her own Key Stone to invoke Mega Evolution with, debuting as Delphox Rouge at the end of Chapter 51]].
-----
* AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal: [[spoiler: In Chapter 52, her Medicham is shown to wear a necklace like Delphox Rogue that holds her Medichamite]].
* {{Adorkable}}: Not to the extent as Marinette, but she was ecstatic when she meets Lady Ledian for the first time like any superhero fangirl.
* ArtificialHuman: Alya's Porygon-Z is known to be an artificial Pokémon whom she got as a gift from Lumiose Press to help her keep in touch with them.
* AscendedFangirl: She's a big fan of superheroes and she has been following the adventures of Lady Ledian and Liepard Noir since their debut with every chance she can get. [[spoiler: She finally made her choice to become a superheroine herself and makes her debut in Chapter 51 as Delphox Rouge, saving the heroic duo in time]].
* AttentionWhore: Not Alya herself but [[spoiler: Trixx, her Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox]] prior to being captured. During [[spoiler: Trixx's]] time in Professor Damocles' lab, she would act out in order to get some sort of attention since she's [[ItAmusedMe bored]]. But it's implied that it's also because [[spoiler: none of the beginning Trainers pick her as a starter, preferring to choose her fellow starters and the more popular Fire-Type Pokémon, [[FreudianExcuse neglecting her as a result]]]].
* BestFriend: To Marinette. To two are close as sisters who support each other and Marinette often shares her worries with her.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler: At the end of Chapter 51, she and Trixx save Lady Ledian and Liepard Noir while they were in a pinch in Frost Cavern as a new hero calling herself Delphox Rouge]].
* CameraFiend: Is never seen without her trusty smartphone, taking pictures and recording her travels across Kalos and of Lady Ledian's heroic endeavors.
* {{Catchphrase}}:
** When Alya catches a new Pokémon, she declares, "News flash, my peeps! I just caught a --!".
** [[spoiler: When Mega Evolving Medicham, she says "Let's lunge! Mega Evolve!" Lunge is a synonym of pounce, which is the English transformation phrase for Trixx in the main show]].
* CharacterTics: Whenever Marinette forgets something important or going through her wild imaginative scenarios, Alya would always shake her head with a Facepalm.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Alya is known for her love of superheroes and her strong sense of truth and justice that she's not afraid of standing up to wrongdoings, even when its putting her safety at risk. [[spoiler: She eventually takes the initiative of becoming one to openly help out Lady Ledian, debuting as the heroine Delphox Rouge at the end of Chapter 51]].
* CoolBigSis: She takes care her of her younger twin sisters, so is good at handling children, especially those who are mischievous. As a result, she acts like one to her more tricky Pokémon like [[spoiler: Trixx and Rotom]]. She also behaves like one to Manon in Chapter 36.
* TheDreaded: [[spoiler: Her Rotom]] and PlayedForLaughs. When Marinette learns that Alya caught [[spoiler: the Rotom that shocked her a few moments ago]], she becomes [[OhCrap ''horrified'']] that Alya has another Electric-Type that will shock her.
* {{Facepalm}}: Marinette's antics are often the cause of this.
* DishingOutDirt: Her Amaura is part Rock-Type.
* EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs: Her Amaura is inspired by the Amargasaurus species.
* FantasticFoxes: [[spoiler: Trixx, under Alya's ownership]].

* FloatingLimbs: Porygon-Z's head is always levitating.
* FossilRevival: She gains an Amaura through the Sail Fossil she obtained after the group's expedition to Glittering Cave.
* FragileSpeedster: When Alya's Elekid evolved into Electabuzz, his speed increased but his defense is feeble.
* GenreSavvy: Thanks to her [[IntrepidReporter desire to snag a big scoop]] and her [[ChronicHeroSyndrome strong sense of justice stemming from reading about superheroes]], Alya knows to hide her face from Team Akuma by sneaking around the Grunts to avoid being on their hit list since she's not wearing a mask like Lady Ledian and Liepard Noir. And she doesn't mind openly lending a hand against a [[TransformationHorror Bond Hybrid]] since their ties to Team Akuma would be severed once Lady Ledian and Liepard Noir undo the fusion and their memories under Poison Moth's control disappear.
* GentleGiant: The first thing Alya's Amaura does when she's brought to life is to curiously greet her new trainer with a light head nudge.
* GlassCannon:
** Alya's Porygon-Z has high Special Attack but cannot take hits.
** [[spoiler: The Rotom she captures also has high Special Attack, but it's stats are mediocre at best]].
* GrewBeyondTheirProgramming: Despite it's [[GoneHorriblyWrong glitchy]] programme, Alya's Porygon-Z is implied to take interest in its surrounding and the reason it shocked Marinette was simply to see her reaction.
* HauntedTechnology: [[spoiler: Her Rotom is known to be able to posses electrical appliances, and in this case, it has so far possessed Max's and Marinette's smart phone]].
* AnIcePerson: Alya's Amaura is part Ice-Type and has the ability Refrigerate, which turns all of her Normal-Type Attacks into Ice-Type Attacks.
* IntrepidReporter: Alya aims to be a top journalist for the Lumiose Press and uncover the mysteries and history of Kalos and Mega Evolution. She uploads these findings in her personal online Pokéblog, 'Catch'em All, Alya Césaire! Findings of a Fabulous Trainer!' which updates on close friends and families on what she has found. It eventually becomes a communication hub for Lady Ledian and Liepard Noir to communicate with each other regarding to Team Akuma, Mega Evolution and the Key Stones. [[spoiler: She had to part ways with Marinette when her internship to Lumiose Press has been accepted, but after proving her dedication and great work to the head editor, she is allowed to travel with Marinette again to continue providing more findings]].
* ItWasAGift: Alya's explanation for [[spoiler: her Key Stone]], stated word for word in Chapter 53.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Some of Alya's Pokémon are impish [[TheTrickster tricksters]] who cause trouble for fun ([[spoiler: Trixx, Rotom]], and even Elekid/Electabuzz). However, they have shown to be loyal Pokémon towards their trainer Alya.
* LightningBruiser: Her Meditite/Medicham.
* MeaningfulName: [[spoiler: Her hero moniker combines her Miraculous hero name from the main series, Rena Rouge, with Delphox, Trixx's final evolved form]].
* MightyGlacier: Alya's Amaura has high HP and Special Attack, and boasts some impressive defenses. Unfortunately, she is fragile against her KryptoniteFactor.
* MrExposition: She's the one who digs up every new intel she can find regarding to location, landmarks and myths and explains them to Marinette.
* MythologyGag: [[spoiler: The Mega Evolution TransformationSequence for Medicham is described to match Rena Rouge's transformation from the show]].
* NoBiologicalSex: Alya's Porygon-Z and later [[spoiler: Rotom]] don't have a gender.
* OminousVisualGlitch: Alya's Porygon-Z as due to its programming, as shown in its debut chapter where it spaz out just by moving.
* TheGadfly: While not as bad as [[spoiler: Trixx and Rotom]], Alya's Elekid/Electabuzz seems to enjoy a little too much on electrocuting Marinette whenever she daydreams, doing mostly cause her reactions are funny.
* OurGhostsAreDifferent: [[spoiler: Alya's Rotom is a plasmatic force with the ability to posses physical objects, though mostly electrical objects]].
* PlayingWithFire: [[spoiler: Trixx, who is a Delphox as of Chapter 52]].
* PowerFloats: [[spoiler: Her Rotom has the ability Levitate, which helps it become immune to Ground-Type]].
* ThePrankster: The author attributes Alya having two mischievous Pokémon to her [[TricksterTwins younger twin sisters]], one of them being notorious for their naturally mischievous nature; [[spoiler: Trixx, her Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox and [[ShockAndAwe Ro]][[OurGhostsAreDifferent tom]] ]].
* PsychicPowers: Alya's Meditite/Medicham and [[spoiler: Trixx her Fennekin/Braixen/Delphox]] are part Psychic-Type while her Porygon-Z is a full Psychic-Type.
* PsychoElectro: Downplayed. Contrary to belief, Alya's Elekid/Electabuzz is a loyal Pokémon companion to his trainer even if [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he]] does he have TheGadfly tendencies. [[OnlySaneMan He]] helps keep Alya in line whenever her desire for a scoop overrides her common sense and safety. Even his tendency to shock Marinette is not out of malicious intent and only PlayedForLaughs.
* SecretArt: Her Meditite/Medicham has the skill Pure Power, which doubles their somewhat subpar attack.
* SecretlySelfish: Downplayed. Although Alya set up the beach date between Marinette and Adrien because she genuinely wanted her best friend to get closer to her crush, the other reason why she organized it [[spoiler: was so it could make up to Marinette when she has to leave her for her internship that she hadn't told her yet]]. Alya [[JerkassRealization realized how poor her timing was]].
* ShipperOnDeck: Naturally, being Marinette's best friend and self-proclaimed wingwoman, often encouraged Marinette to talk to Adrien more and tries to help her friend get closer to him.
* ShockAndAwe: She has a number of Electric-Type Pokémon like her Elekid/Electabuzz and [[spoiler: Rotom]], which ties into her techno savviness. Her [[spoiler: Porygon-Z]] also knows Zap Cannon.
* SoProudOfYou: She expresses this for [[spoiler: Trixx once she evolves into a Delphox in Chapter 52, thinking back to how far the Fox Pokémon has come, starting as a lonely trickster that lived in Professor Damocles's lab for a long time before becoming a powerful ally in Alya's team]].
* SoulPower: [[spoiler: Alya's Rotom is part Ghost-Type]].
* SpectacularSpinning: Alya's Elekid would spin his arms around to charge up electricity.
* StarterMon: She started with Elekid, which is to represent Alya's usage of technology. [[spoiler: Though Alya eventually gets the traditional Kalos Fire-type, Trixx the Fennekin/Braixen who ties into her [[FantasticFox Fox Motif]]]].
* SuperMode: Her [[spoiler: Medicham achieves Mega Evolution]] for the first time in Chapter 52.
* {{Tsundere}}: [[spoiler: Trixx is a Type-A. She's a prideful and [[TheTrickster tricky]] [[ThePrankster prankster]] who'll occasionally perform the classic Tsundere gesture of folding her arms and turning away with a 'Humph!' expression. However, it's all to [[HiddenHeartOfGold hide]] her insecurities and loneliness and she gave Alya a big BearHug when the bespectacled girl accepted her as part of the team]].
* TransformationTrinket:
** [[spoiler: In Chapter 51, Alya reveals having obtained a Key Stone offscreen, supposedly by an "old acquaintance" of a Lumiose Press staff member that wanted Alya to have it, and accessorizing it as a charm for her cell phone. In addition, a few chapters ago, her Medicham found a Medichamite while they were still in Laverre City. As Delphox Rouge, she wears her Key Stone as a necklace with Medicham also wearing a necklace that holds her Medichamite]].
** [[spoiler: As Delphox Rouge, her Key Stone is placed into a pendant shaped like Delphox's tail]].
* TheTrickster: [[spoiler: Trixx and her Rotom are both tricky Pokémon]]. Even Elekid isn't exempted from this though he's a downplayed example compared to the others.
* {{Troll}}: Her [[spoiler: Rotom]], due to its stated fondness for [[RunningGag shocking Marinette]] through electric appliances, particularly phones. [[spoiler: It even electrocuted Marinette when she touched Max's possessed phone before Alya captured it back at the Lost Hotel in Chapter 49]].
* VerbalTic: She often says "girl" when speaking with Marinette.
* VirtualGhost: Alya's Porgon-Z can travel between cyberspace.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Nino Lahiffe]]
Adrien's best friend and friendly rival. Nino is an aspiring DJ who is competing for the Kalos League like his best friend. He incorporates music in his battling style, making him a fun and unpredictable contender for the League. He is still loyal to Adrien and tries to help him out as much as he can. [[spoiler: In Chapter 42, he gets turned into a Bond Hybrid after a harsh talk with Gabriel in regards to Adrien's performance in Chapter 41]].
-----
* BarrierWarrior: His Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise knows the move Protect and uses [[SpinToDeflectStuff his shell to deflect attacks]].
* BestFriend: To Adrien. They both support and help each other out even when they are rivals and Adrien often confides to Nino about his troubles.
* DanceBattler: He trains his Pokémon to incorporate a combination of music and dancing in their battle styles, with some pulling off some stylish attacks. His Lotad/Lombre/Ludicolo is a good example.
* FriendlyRival: He's Adrien's best friend and among the few who enjoys having a friendly Pokémon battle with him rather than viewing him as a major obstacle for the Kalos League.
* GreenThumb: His Maractus is a Grass Type while Lotad/Lombre/Ludicolo has Grass-Type as a secondary element-type.
* MakingASplash: He owns a Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise and Lotad/Lombre/Ludicolo, which represents his laid-back and outgoing attitude.
* MusicalAssassin: He aspires to incorporate musical beats and rhythms into his battling style. It helps that he owns Pokémon that have an affinity towards sound, such as [[MakeMeWannaShout Loudred]] and [[DanceBattler Maractus]]. There's also [[FunPersonified Ludicolo]], who becomes more active and powerful upon hearing music.
* NonElemental: He owns a Loudred who is a Normal-Type.
* OneManArmy: Nino fends off a horde of trainers who want to challenge Adrien to Pokémon battles so that he may be able to take a break. [[spoiler: Despite tiring out, he managed to hold his own long enough for the trainers to finally give up pursuing Adrien until he leaves Lumiose City.]]
* SpinAttack: His Squirtle [[spoiler: later Wartortle then Blastoise]] know Rapid Spin.
* SpinToDeflectStuff: Rapid Spin is a retroactive form, removing stage hazards and binding moves when used.
* StarterMon: Squirtle was his first Pokémon prior to graduating from Lumiose Academy, tying into his Akuma form in the original show.
* StoneWall: [[spoiler: His Blastoise has excellent defense stats, but his offense stats are just average]].
* TotallyRadical: Wouldn't be Nino without this.
* TurnsRed: His Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise ability Torrent boosts Water attacks when his health becomes low.
* TurtlePower: His starter, [[MakingASplash Squirtle]] [[spoiler: who eventually evolves into Wartortle and into his final form, Blastoise after his OneManArmy action]].
* VerbalTic: He frequently uses "dude".

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Chloé Bourgeois]]
Marinette's old bully turned rival and Adrien's childhood friend. Daughter of the President of the Pokémon Community, she believes she's entitled to be the next Kalos Champion and Queen. While she talks big, she lacks the skills that she constantly brags about, having a less than impressive win record. [[spoiler: After her first major loss against Marinette thanks to her Servine disobeying her, she leaves the others, presumably to train seriously than before]].
-----
* AlphaBitch: She's an aggressive example; being an openly catty, petty and mean girl who's prone to throwing her father's name around to ensure she gets her way, proclaiming to be Kalos' Queen and still acts like one after graduating from Lumiose Academy. Played with though, like in the main series, she's not popular and her classmates barely tolerate her even after they graduated.
* AmazonBrigade: All of Chloé's Pokémon in her team are female, with some notably feminine.
* AnIcePerson: She owns a Weavile, who knows Ice Punch and Ice Shard.
* AttackAttackAttack: Whenever she's frustrated during battles, particular whenever her opponent gains the upper hand, Chloé resorts to this in battles.
* BeeAfraid: [[spoiler: Pollen, her Vespiquen. Though she leans more to a wasp]].
* BeeBeeGun: [[spoiler: As a Vespiquen, Pollen has the ability to call upon a swarm of Combees to attack and defend on her behalf]].
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:The Vespiquen that saved Sabrina during Team Akuma's citywide attack in Chapter 39 was implied to belong to Chloé. It is pretty much confirmed as Chloé was revealed to have caught Pollen just before the class reunion in Lumiose City and Team Akuma's attack]].
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Not Chloé since she doesn't even hide her [[JerkAss unpleasant disposition]], but invoked via WordOfGod (author's bio page) in regards of Chloé getting a Flaaffy. Chloé does try to play it straight by insisting that bad things happening are [[NeverMyFault never her fault]].
* TheBusCameBack: After being missing for nearly twenty chapters, she makes a full appearance [[spoiler: in Chapter 55, finding Marinette at the Anistar Sundial to challenge her for a rematch]].
* CastingAShadow: Her Murkrow/Honchkrow and Weavile, both of which are part-Dark-type.
* {{Catchphrase}}:
** She frequently abuses her usage of the word "ridiculous" in expressing her disgust, just like in the main show.
** In calling out her [[spoiler: Vespiquen]], she uses [[spoiler: "Pollen, buzz on!"]]
* CharacterTics: Like her counterpart from the main show, [[spoiler: Pollen]] is shown to curtsy before her Trainer as to acknowledge her as her queen [[spoiler: as done after defeating Marinette and Tikki in Chapter 55]].
* ClingyJealousGirl: She ''certainly'' doesn't like other girls pulling the moves on Adrien. A big reason why she actively dislikes Marinette, and later, Lila.
* CreepyCrows: Owns a Murkrow/Honchkrow.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Chloé shows that if she does put in the effort, she actually has the skills to be a proficient trainer during her battle with Marinette, but is still inferior to her at the moment. [[spoiler: In her return at Chapter 55, Chloé shows off how much stronger she's gotten since Coumarine City by defeating Marinette in a three-on-three battle]].
* {{Determinator}}: [[spoiler: Aside from pushing herself and training her Pokémon during her absence to the point she can go toe-to-toe against Marinette, a {{flashback}} in Chapter 55 reveals Chloé, in a fit of desperation in preserving what's left of her dignity, tries fighting her future Vespiquen head-on as Servine still refuses to listen to her and Vespiquen was able to disarm her of her Flaaffy's Poké Ball. Sure Vespiquen [[CurbstompBattle threw Chloé down every time]], but her determination was enough for Servine to [[BigDamnHeroes step in and fight off Vespiquen]] and give Chloé another chance]].
* DontYouDarePityMe: Chloé's reaction to Adrien after her Servine refuses to obey her and throws the match against Marinette.
* EnemyMine: Subverted [[spoiler: when the subject of Lila was brought up during Chloé's reemergence in Chapter 55 as Chloé declares that she rather get Lila to back off from Adrien by her own hands instead of teaming up with Marinette]].
* EpicFail: Chloé attempts to show off to Adrien during the informal Parfum Palace Tag Tournament that she was going to win, except that she didn’t and her match wounds up being described as the shortest one to date.
* EverythingsWorseWithBees: [[spoiler: Pollen, her Vespiquen. She also knows Attack Order and Defend Order, which allow her to call upon nearby Combee to aid her in battle]].
* FragileSpeedster: Her Mukrow and Weavile are both fast with good offensive stats, but both are terrible at taking hits.
* FreudianExcuse: Much like from the main show, [[spoiler: Chapter 55 reveals Chloé's desire to be exceptional due to [[ParentalNeglect her neglectful mother]], who left her behind at a very early age to pursue her career as a fashion critic in Unova. Because her mother was barely in her own daughter's life, Chloé never received the proper love and attention she needed to properly develop and mature, thus was presumably spoiled rotten by her father as to make up for it]].
* GemstoneAssault: [[spoiler: Pollen knows Power Gem]].
* GlassCannon: Weavile and Honchkrow. Both have excellent offensive stats and are agile, though her Honchkrow is slower than she was as Murkrow in exchange for higher HP. They both still have terrible defenses.
* HiveQueen: [[spoiler: Pollen can command and control nearby male Combees to her aid, which is shown in her first appearance in Chapter 55. Marinette points out it's basically brainwashing]].
* {{Irony}}: Her Murkrow/Honchkrow is known to be a harbinger of misfortune and her ability is [[CriticalHit Super Luck]].
* InsectQueen: [[spoiler: Her Vespiquen, Pollen. Not only can she command a swarm of Combees, but prior to Chloé capturing her, she came to defend the Combees whom were intimidated by the spoiled girl]].
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Her former classmates barely tolerate her [[AlphaBitch stuck-up and snooty attitude]] back at Lumiose Trainer Academy. During the intermission of the Showcase Performance, Marinette and her friends discussed the possibility of hosting another class reunion in Lumiose City and while reluctant, decided to invite Chloé since she ''was'' part of the class.
* GreenThumb: Her Snivy/Servine is a Grass-Type.
* KickTheDog:
** After Marinette [[HeroicBSOD runs away in shame and disappointment in herself]] after the first Tag Team battle because she felt she failed Adrien as a partner, Chloé proceeds to [[KickThemWhileTheyAreDown mock her]] to which Adrien tells her off for it.
** [[spoiler: When her newly evolved Honchkrow defeats Marinette's Togetic in their rematch battle in Chapter 55, she starts to belittle Togetic and Marinette's ability to raise her]].
* {{Jerkass}}: Chloé, nuff said, [[BirdsOfAFeather which she shares with her Snivy]]. [[spoiler: Which backfires on her when [[TookALevelInJerkAss Snivy evolves into a Servine and starts disobeying her]]]].
* LookWhatICanDoNow: [[spoiler: After returning from her long absence from the story in Chapter 55, Chloé reveals that she has gotten much stronger than before, claiming she is a new Chloé Bourgeois set to become Kalos's new queen. She mentioned that things have changed for the better for her upon capturing Pollen, which include regaining her starter's obedience after claiming victory in many battles]].
* LovableAlphaBitch: Very downplayed, however she has shown signs of this deep down. [[spoiler: Pollen is implied to be the Vespiquen that saved Sabrina during Team Akuma's citywide attack in Chapter 39 under Chloé's orders and in Chapter 55, she comforted her fallen Weavile after an intense fist match against Marinette's Spinda and flashbacks reveal that she protected her Servine from her future Vespiquen, despite the latter's disobedience]].
* MythologyGag:
** In [[spoiler: Chapter 55]], the way Chloé is described to command her Honchkrow to use Sky Attack by flourishing her arms out like wings brings to mind how [[TheRival Paul]] from the ''Diamond & Pearl'' anime saga commands his Honchkrow to use that move. It somewhat helps as she also owns a Weavile like him.
** In the same chapter, the method that [[spoiler: Pollen]] administers her Toxic toxin is through pricking [[spoiler: just like Queen Bee's Venom]].
* NonElemental: Her Meowth/Persian is a Normal-Type.
* OnlyFriend: Chloé is this to Sabrina and before his enrollment to the Academy, Adrien. In Sabrina's case it gets [[DeconstructedTrope deconstructed]] [[spoiler: after she hasn't heard from Chloé since her loss to Marinette]] where it's clear that Sabrina is ''very'' dependent on her and has no idea where to go or what to do that doesn't involve Chloé.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: The fact that ''[[SpoiledBrat Chloé]]'' didn't run crying to her father nor returned to take comfort in her suite just shows how much she has gotten serious in training her Pokémon. [[spoiler: Her first loss against Marinette did indeed affect her, but it was the fact that her once loyal Snivy's now disobeying her since evolving into Servine that's she's taking her loss '''hard''']].
* PoisonousPerson: [[spoiler: Pollen]] knows Toxic, a powerful Poison-type move that worsens overtime to the point that the victim can be paralyzed by the pain alone, further referencing [[spoiler: Queen Bee's Venom]].
* PrivilegedRival: She's the daughter of the current President of the Pokémon Community and owner of Lumiose's Hotel Richissime.
* TheRival: Serves as this Marinette, though currently she isn't much to be considered a serious opponent [[spoiler: until her reappearance in Chapter 55]].
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler: Her return in Chapter 55 not only displays her newfound strength by showing her newly acquired Anistar Gym Badge, but also with her newly evolved Honchkrow and the devastating powers of Pollen, her Vespiquen]].
* SmallNameBigEgo: Being the daughter of the current president of the Pokémon community resulted in Chloé believing she's the best trainer to everyone except for [[MoralityPet Adrien]]. So far she hasn't won a single battle onscreen and Marinette proved to be a better trainer than her.
* SmugSnake: She always acts like her classmates bar [[MoralityPet Adrien]] are [[SmallNameBigEgo beneath her despite having a less than stellar win record thus far]]. Having Snivy as her starter wasn't already a hint to her snotty attitude. [[spoiler: After her [[BreakTheHaughty first humiliating loss against Marinette thanks to her Servine refusing to listen to her]], Chloé may have become more serious in training]].
* StarterMon: Snivy, fittingly as it's said that Snivy are typically haughty {{SmugSnake}}s.
* StatusBuff: [[spoiler: Pollen knows Defend Order, which has a swarm of Combees raising her defenses]].
* StoneWall: [[spoiler: Pollen has high defense and has the ability Pressure, making her a good staller. However, she has average offensive stats and low speed]].
* StrongButUnskilled: Chloé has been shown to be an actual good trainer if she makes an effort in it and her Pokémon are shown to be no slouch. However, Chloé relies on her Pokémon's sheer power and unlike Marinette, isn't as creative in her strategies. That being said [[spoiler: Pollen's battle against Tikki shows Chloé capable of utilizing her Pokémon's abilities and tactics if she puts her mind to it]].
* UnsportsmanlikeGloating: [[spoiler: After Chloé won her rematch battle against Marinette in Chapter 55, she continues to rub it into Marinette's face, to the annoyance of Alya and the others]].
* VictoryIsBoring: [[spoiler: Despite beating Marinette, Chloé loses the glee she had initially due to [[GracefulLoser Marinette able to handle it well]] than she anticipated. It is also implied that Marinette being supported by Alya and the others while she had no one was another factor that left her feeling empty in her victory]].
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Despite her significant rivalry with Marinette, Chloé hasn't been seen by anyone, nor has she made a full-screen appearance [[spoiler: since her [[CurbstompBattle major loss to Marinette]] at Coumarine City in Chapter 27. Sabrina was talking to her over the phone during the Team Akuma attack aftermath in Chapter 40, but not even she knows where Chloé is at that point. She finally returns in Chapter 55 in Anistar City]].
* ZergRush: [[spoiler: Pollen, Chloé's Vespiquen, can summon a bunch of Combees to her aid. In Chapter 55, she displays how terrifying it is; from swarming all over Tikki so she won't escape, to chasing her when she's badly poisoned and vulnerable to their queen's attacks]].

[[folder: Sabrina Raincomprix]]
Chloé's "[[AllTakeAndNoGive best friend]]" and daughter of the Coumarine Gym Leader. Mostly referred as Chloé's lackey back at the Academy and now, as she does most of the grunt work for Chloé, which includes training their Pokémon. When not doing Chloé's dirty work, Sabrina isn't that bad. [[spoiler: Ever since Chloé left her after losing against Marinette, [[DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife Sabrina is left on her own, at lost on what she wants for herself]]]].
-----
* BadassBookworm: Sabrina is highly knowledgeable on Pokémon and is actually a fairly competent trainer of her own right because her father is the Coumarine Gym Leader. Unfortunately, she has to pick up after Chloé, which [[WorfHadTheFlu holds her back; unable to perform as well as she could]].
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: She usually has to follow Chloé's orders and is dependent on her that Sabrina doesn't consider what she herself wants; which extends to lacking any ambition of her own. [[spoiler: When Chloé leaves after losing to Marinette, Sabrina has been unable to contact her, leaving her clueless on what to do next.]]
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Likely due to her [[BetaBitch association]] with Chloé, but downplayed as the others don't personally have a problem with her when she's not around Chloé.
* GreenThumb: Her starter is a Bulbasaur/Ivysaur, likely because her father is the Coumarine Gym Leader.
* HollywoodChameleons: Owns a Kecleon, whose ChameleonCamouflage is meant to reference her akumatized form, Vanisher.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: In Chapter 30, [[spoiler: Sabrina shows shades of it due to her association with [[AlphaBitch Chloé]]]]. [[TheQuietOne Nathaniel]], of all people, points it out.
* PoisonousPerson: Her Bulbasaur/Ivysaur are part Poison-Type.
* NonElemental: Her Kecleon is a Normal-Type.
* StandardStatusEffect: Her Bulbasaur/Ivysaur knows Poison Powder.
* StarterMon: Bulbasaur, which is to connect her ties to the Coumarine Gym, which specializes in Grass-Types. In addition, it's to show how she follows [[AlphaBitch Chloé]] and is submissive to her whims.
* WhipItGood: Her Bulbasaur/Ivysaur naturally knows Vine Whip.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Alix Kubdel]]
Marinette and Adrien's tomboyish classmate hailing from Shalour City, known for having a fierce rivalry with Kim. Comes from a family that descended from the original Trainer who first used Mega Evolution in Kalos with their Lucario. Her father is the leading guru of Mega Evolution while her older brother is the current Shalour Gym Leader. Alix is destined to eventually inherit the Gym Leader position, but for now, is proving to be a wild contender for the Kalos League with her speed-oriented battle style.
-----
* BadassAdorable: Several of her Pokémons are rather cute before they evolved, such as her Torchic, Tyrogue and Pikachu/Raichu.
* BareFistedMonk: She owns a Tyrogue and after her Torchic evolves into Combusken [[spoiler: and finally Blaziken]], she becomes a part Fighting-Type, which fits her competitive, stubborn and tomboyish personality. Bonus points that her family runs a Gym that specializes in Fighting-Types.
* BrutalHonesty: Alix is rather blunt in her approach to things, to the point it can come off as rude.
* UsefulNotes/{{Capoeira}}: Once her Tyrogue evolves into a Hitmontop, which fits with Alix's Speed-oriented tactics and her love for rollerblading.
* CripplingOverspecialization: Alix's preference for Speed-oriented Pokémon and reliance on a hit-and-run tactic can be exploited when it becomes linear and predictable that her opponents can counter them or moves that would render High Speed stats moot, such as Trick Room.
* DeadpanSnarker: She more or less [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] Team Akuma's tacky wardrobe, all the while she and Marinette were cornered by them in Chapter 39 no less.
* DeathOrGloryAttack: Her Pikachu knows Volt Tackle, which cause recoil damage to the user.
* EveryoneHasStandards: She may be an enthusiastic Pokémon battler who wouldn't mind a good showdown, [[spoiler: but even she thought the [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown brutal fist-fight]] between Marinette's Spinda and Chloé's Weavile was too much for her to witness]].
%% * {{Expy}}: Of Korrina, a roller-blading spirited {{Tomboy}} and, at least in this story, comes from a family of Mega Evolution users.
* FragileSpeedster: Pikachu is speedy, but frail.
* GaggingOnYourWords: Having been the battle judge for [[spoiler: Marinette and Chloé]] in Chapter 55, in the which the latter wins, Alix finds having to announce the decision tastes worse than her sweaty socks while sticking her tongue out.
* HiddenDepths:
** Despite not into girly things, Alix appreciates Pokémon Showcases.
** Alix's favorite mythical Pokémon are [[TimeTravel Celebi]] and [[TimeMaster Dialga]].
* HotBlooded: She rivals Kim in that department among other things. She's even like this when watching Pokémon Showcases as Nathaniel can attest to.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Alix may be a tough and stubborn girl who won't always be agreeable, but she's a loyal friend who won't back down when others are in danger.
* JerkassHasAPoint: While she could've been nicer about it, Alix vents out her frustration over Marinette's obsession over Adrien in Chapter 56, possibly as a subtle TakeThat towards Marinette's behavior in the early aired episodes of Season Three in the main show. Though there is a significant difference that here, Marinette had more than four years to make her move and actually progress her relationship with Adrien instead of moping about it.
* LightningBruiser: Her Yanmega and [[spoiler: Blaziken]].
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The tough Masculine Girl to Nathaniel's passive Feminine Boy.
* TheNapoleon: She's stated to be short compared to the others yet it doesn't stop her from being one of the most competitive Pokémon trainers gunning for the Kalos League and can be aggressive if she wants. Her Pikachu/Raichu mirrors this perfectly, being a small mouse-like Pokémon who can put up a fight.
* OddFriendship: A competitive and passionate tomboy who dislikes girly things like her is best friends with Nathaniel, a quiet Pokémon artist figuring out his place in the world. To add on, they both own a Fire Starter (Torchic and Cyndaquil respectively) and one of the special [[StarterMon starter Pokémon]] (Pikachu and Eevee respectively again).
* ParentalFavoritism: Jalil believes their father favors her because she'll take over the position of Gym Leader once she's of age.
* PassionateSportsGirl: Just like in the show, Alix is passionate about her rollerblading skills and is a major competitor in the upcoming Kalos League. Her Hitmontop even reflects on her competiveness nature.
* PrivilegedRival: She's the younger sister of the current Shalour Gym Leader, Jalil Kubdel, whom took over the position from their father, who's the leading researcher on Mega Evolution.
* RedOniBlueOni: The fiery Red Oni to Nathaniel's mellow Blue Oni.
* TheRival: She has been Kim's fierce rival for a long time that he proclaims that he'll reserve her family's Gym for last.
* RollerbladeGood: Outside of Pokémon battles, she takes rollerblading very seriously. She's a speed demon when on rollerblades and meets up with Marinette and Alya while rollerblading with a group in Chapter 10. She even mentions the Shalour Gym battlefield grounds for rollerblading and wanted to learn a special rollerblading move by the Twirling Whirlwind in Chapter 49. Both her [[ShockAndAwe Pikachu/Raichu]] and [[DreadfulDragonfly Yanma/Yanmega]] are speedster masters like her.
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: With Nathaniel, shown in the Parfum Palace tag battle tournament.
* ShockAndAwe: Alix's Pikachu/Raichu.
* SpinAttack: Naturally, Alix's Hitmontop, who also knows Rolling Kick.
* StarterMon: Alix's partner was her Torchic back in her Lumiose Academy days, both to represent her fiery and tomboyish personality and as a {{Foil}} to Kim. She also owns a Pikachu, who is considered a special StarterMon.
* {{Tomboy}}: She has a spirted and tough personality, enjoys roller-blading and Pokémon battles, and owns several robust-looking Pokémon.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Marinette noted that Alix's Pikachu has a heart-shaped tail, indicating she's a female.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: [[spoiler: Alix's reaction when Marianne used Trick Room against Marinette in her Gym Battle is of dread in Chapter 56 due to the move having a detrimental effect on Pokémon with high speed]].
* YoungestChildWins: She's expected to inherit the Shalour Gym Leader position from her brother once she is of age and [[spoiler: is eventually given her family's precious heirloom Key Stone watch after she beat her brother in a Gym battle]].

[[folder: Nathaniel Kurtzberg]]
A quiet, redheaded classmate with artistic passion and unrequited feelings towards Marinette, though it seems he has gotten over her for the most part since graduating from the Academy. Unlike the rest of his classmates, Nathaniel isn't driven to compete in the Kalos League and is more interested in drawing out Pokémon he encounters during his travels. He does, however, appear supportive of Juleka and Rose in their pursuit to becoming Kalos Queen as he is fascinated by the artistry of Pokémon Showcase performances.
-----
* ArtAttacker: To fit his artistic theme, he owns a Smeargle and a Horsea/Seadra, the latter due to the ability to spit ink. In addition, Nathaniel is able to utilize his artistic sense for impressive move combinations for battles and potentially performances.
* FieryRedhead: [[InvertedTrope Inverted]], as he's one of quietest former classmates with Juleka. His starter Cyndaquil/Quilava mirrors his timid personality.
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: While he is currently content with drawing Pokémon he encounters in his travels, he seems to veering into this, feeling he wants to do more than just sketch.
* ConfusionFu: His Smeargle can learn any moveset and can copy other Pokémon's powers with [[ArtInitiatesLife Sketch]].
* MakingASplash: His Horsea/Seadra.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The quiet Feminine Boy with soft features to Alix's tomboyish and aggressive Masculine Girl.
* MoonRabbit: Nathaniel's Umbreon after he evolved.
* NonElemental: His Smeargle and Eevee are both Normal-Types before the latter evolved into [[CastingAShadow Umbreon]].
* OddFriendship: A non-action Pokémon artist who's still [[DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife unsure of which career path to go into]] like him is best friends with Alix, a HotBlooded {{Tomboy}} who'll eventually become the next Shalour Gym Leader. They also both own a Fire Starter (Cyndaquil and Torchic respectively), and the unique [[StarterMon starter Pokémon]] (Eevee and Pikachu respectively again).
* OnlySaneMan: Figuratively and literally in Chapter 54 when sitting with Alix, Marinette, and Alya during the Anistar Showcase, with Nathaniel wishing his friends were a little less high strung.
* PowerCopying: His Smeargle can use [[ArtInitiatesLife Sketch]] to permanently copy the last move his target uses.
* PlayingWithFire: His starter is a [[PricklyPorcupine Cyndaquil/Quilava]].
* PsychicPowers: His Munna/Musharna is a Psychic-Type.
* TheQuietOne: Is almost as quiet as Juleka, but he's more expressive around Alix. His Umbreon represents his quiet personality.
* RedOniBlueOni: The good-tempered Blue Oni to Alix's aggressive Red Oni.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Several Pokémon he has are pretty adorable, such as his Cyndaquil, Eevee/Umbreon, Horsea and Munna/Musharna.
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: With Alix, shown in the Parfum Palace tag battle tournament.
* StarterMon: A Cyndaquil with a similar timid personality as his. He also owns an Eevee, who is also considered as another special StarterMon.
* SupportPartyMember: He's partnered with Alix during the Parfum Tag-team battle and Alix is the one to lead the pair in both battle and strategies while Nathaniel follows and provide support. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] since Nathaniel is an artist, not a fighter and Alix is the more experienced battler between the two of them. His Smeargle shares this trait with him; he's no powerhouse, but his [[ConfusionFu versatility]] allows him to pull off unique combos from behind the scenes.
* WeakButSkilled: Like Rose and Juleka, Nathaniel isn't interested in being a full-time Pokémon trainer like the rest of his former classmates gunning for the Kalos League. That being said, the Parfum Tag-Team battle shows that Nathaniel does utilize his artistic sense to produce surprisingly impressive and effective attacks. His Smeargle displays this perfectly too.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Lê Chiên Kim]]
The boisterous jock classmate of Marinette and Adrien from the Academy who shares an intense rivalry with Alix and is Max's best friend. Not the brightest bulb out there, but prefers brute force and pure power in his Pokémon battles any day. Kim plans to overwhelm the competition in the Kalos League, but not before he proves to Alix that he's the better Trainer.
-----
* AlwaysAccurateAttack: His Machop/Machoke has the ability No Guard, meaning any move he has will always hit the opponent, even if the target is in a semi-invulnerable stage. Unfortunately, that also applies to any move against him as well, which both advantage and disadvantage were shown in the Tag Team Finals.
* BareFistedMonk: Tying into his boisterous attitude, his love for training, and rivalry with Alix, he owns a few Fighting-Type Pokémon. His Machop/Machoke is a pure Fighting-Type while his Hawlucha is part Fighting-Type and Xuppu [[spoiler: becomes part Fighting-Type once he evolves into Monferno]].
* BookDumb: He admits that he isn't as booksmart as Max is.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The overwhelming Brawn to Max's Brains, which is prominent during the Parfum Palace tag-team battle. This combination gave Marinette and Adrien a hard time in the final round. His Machop/Machoke perfectly fits this trope.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: He compares training for the Leagues no different from training for a marathon; to be in top physical shape and improving your stamina to last in the finals. Thus, he trains his Pokémon's endurance and master powerful moves. As a result some of his Pokémon can be both hard-hitters and durable, like his Machop/Machoke, bonus for having the stamina and strength to make good use of his No Guard Ability.
* CompetitionFreak: Like in the main series, Kim enjoys sports, Pokémon battles and making bets (though, as of Chapter 10, he isn't allow to make bets for a year after losing his last bet). He is one of the few competitive contenders for the Kalos League, along with Alix.
* DishingOutDirt: Upon evolution, his Marshtomp/Swampert becomes part Ground-Type. His Claydol is also part Ground-Type.
%% * {{Expy}}: Of [[HotBlooded Stephan]], the [[CompetitionFreak competitive]] [[LovableJock jock]].
* HotBlooded: He rivals Alix in that department, especially during a competition, sport events or battles.
* JerkJock: He can dip into this sometimes because of his arrogance and cocky attitude, not to mention headstrong in his battling style. Even his Machop/Machoke perfectly mirrors his jock personality and arrogance.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While still hotheaded and occasionally rude, he is generally kind and he helped the Parfum Palace's owner find his Furfrou. As thanks, the owner allowed him to organize the class reunion in Parfum Palace.
* LovableJock: Despite his boastful nature, he still cares about his former classmates and with the help of the Parfum Place owner, organized a class reunion party so they can both test their current skills and meet up with each other. He even complements Max's strategies during their tag-team battle.
* MakingASplash: His Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert and he knows Water Gun.
* MightyGlacier: His Machop/Machoke and [[spoiler: Swampert]].
* MonkeyKingLite: Chapter 61 reveals that he got a Chimchar named Xuppu from a trade, as a reference to being the wielder of the Monkey Miraculous. [[spoiler:It would evolve into Monferno after using it to battle Marinette and Ayla alongside Ondine in a double battle]].
* ObliviousToLove: When he reunites with Ondine in Chapter 61, he fails to pick on her obvious crush on him.
* OddFriendship: The hotheaded and burly jock who loves battles, is close friends with Max, the smartest trainer from their class. In fact, they worked well together that their brain-brawn combo nearly won the Parfum Tag-Team battle.
* PlayingWithFire: Got a Chimchar through a trade prior Chapter 61.
* PowerIncontinence: Xuppu's Swagger, meant to reference King Monkey's Uproar, sharply increases the attack power of the target, but induces [[StandardStatusEffects confusion]] as a result.
* PsychicPowers: Kim's Claydol is half Psychic-Type.
* RedOniBlueOni: Kim is the hotheaded and brash Red Oni to Max's collected and strategic Blue Oni.
* TheRival: He has been Alix's sworn rival since their Academy days and whenever they are in the same room, it's expected that they would immediately battle each other.
* StarterMon:
** Mudkip, as a {{foil}} to Alix's Torchic.
** He later gets a Chimchar, a Fire-type starter of Sinnoh, nicknamed Xuppu from a trade.
* StrongButUnskilled: Unlike [[TheStrategist Max's]] tactical approach to battles, Kim focuses more enduring and [[AttackAttackAttack hitting harder]] till his opponent is down. His Machop/Machoke best shows this with his ability No Guard.

[[/folder]]

[[folder: Max Kanté]]
Marinette and Adrien's highly intelligent classmate from the Academy and Kim's best friend, known for his use of sophisticated scientific vocabulary and tendency to spout out statistical facts regarding Pokémon moves and related physiology. In direct contrast to Kim, Max prioritizes clever strategy over power in his battles, which would surely make him quite the tricky opponent to deal with when faced in the Kalos League.
-----
* AgentScully: As someone who relies on logic and numbers, Max would be the last person to admit that the Scary House rumors might be more than just Ghost-Type Pokémon playing around. [[ImmediateSelfContradiction Although his shaking legs might indicate otherwise]].
* BadassBookworm: As TheSmartGuy, Max is big on [[TheStrategist strategic]] planning in his Pokémon battles and was described by Adrien to be the top of the class in the written portion of the exams.
* BatOutOfHell: He owns a Zubat/Golbat/Crobat but she isn't villainous in anyway.
* BlowYouAway: His Zubat/Golbat/Crobat is part Flying-Type and knows Air Cutter.
* BrainsAndBrawn: The analytic Brains to Kim's Brawn, which is highlighted during the Parfum Palace tag-team battle, both giving Marinette and Adrien a hard time. His starter, Abra/Kadabra naturally reflects this.
* DidNotSeeThatComing: One of things that can throw off Max's strategies are whenever his opponent improvises on the spot or pure luck. He and Kim were thrown off when Marinette and Adrien's Pokémon managed to survive their combo attack through sheer luck that has a low chance of occurring. Even Max commented that luck is a factor that is unpredictable.
* ExtraOredinary: Owns a Metang
* FlawExploitation: He takes advantage of Type-weaknesses and analyzes his opponents' battle style to find a way around it. This is shown in Chapter 49 in his battle against Alix, with him aware of Alix's preference for speed and agility with a hit-and-run tactic.
* FragileSpeedster: His [[{{Tengu}} Seedot/Nuzleaf/Shiftry]] and [[BatOutOfHell Zubat/Golbat/Crobat]] are extremely fast, especially the former during the Parfum Palace Tag-Team battle where Max uses Sunny Day to activate his Chlorophyll ability which increases Seedot's Speed.
* GlassCannon: Max's Abra and his Evolutionary Line are known to have very high Special Attack and Speed stats, letting them deal massive damage. Yet they are extremely frail in their defense, [[SquishyWizard especially towards physical attacks]].
* GoodWithNumbers: Max never misses the chance to make calculations on possibilities.
* GreenThumb: His Nuzleaf/Shiftry is a Grass-Type.
* HumongousMecha: Owns a Golurk, which is meant as a reference to the giant robot Gamer battles with.
* LivingStatue: Owns a Golurk
* MindManipulation: His Zubat/Golbat/Crobat knows Confuse Ray.
* MotorMouth: Whenever he goes on his techno talk or calculations, to the point someone has to interrupt him to stop.
* OddFriendship: He's a strategist who relies on deductive reasoning and logic who is close friends with Kim, the local competitive, hard-hitting jock. They work so well that their brain-brawn tactics let them nearly win the Parfum Tag-Team battle.
* PoisonousPerson: His Zubat/Golbat/Crobat is part Poison-Type.
* PsychicPowers: His Abra/Kadabra is a Psychic-Type.
* RedOniBlueOni: Max is the analytical and strategic Blue Oni to Kim's brash and straight-forward Red Oni.
* StarterMon: His first Pokémon is Abra as to highlight his intellect.
* TheStrategist: Going by his brain tactics, Max's Pokémon aren't all powerful, so he makes up for it by being a very good strategist, making very good use of basic techniques and common sense. This however, is his AchillesHeel-- he thinks things through so ''logically and by-the-book'' that unexpected results and outside-the-box strategies catch him by surprise, throwing his strategies off that lead to his defeat. He and Kim nearly lost it when Alya and Nino pulled off their water and electric combo move and later, he was taken back when luck was a factor that helped Marinette and Adrien win.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Max wears NerdGlasses and was the top in Marinette's class in the theoretical portion of the exams.
* TeleportSpam: Abra, which came in handy in Chapter 11 when Abra saved both him and Kim's Machop from Alya's Elekid's and Nino's Lotad's combo attack during the first round in the Tag-Team battle.
* WeakButSkilled: Max's team isn't a powerhouse compared to [[LovableJock Kim's]], but he does make good use of his Pokémon's versatility and takes advantage of his environment and Type-weaknesses.

* DishingOutDirt: His Rhyhorn is a dual Ground and Rock-Type.
* DistressedDude: [[spoiler: In Chapter 20, he becomes first known victim to Team Akuma. Doubles as a ShoutOut to the fact that he was chronologically the first Akumatized victim in ''Miraculous Ladybug'']].

* PowerUpMount: His Rhyhorn is used as a ride for him and Mylène when they along with Marinette and the others were heading to Glittering Cave.
* StarterMon: Starts with a male Nidoran to complement Mylène's female Nidoran.
* SuperToughness: His Rhyhorn has very high HP and Defense and excellent Special Defense under a sandstorm. [[spoiler: Which became a problem when he and Rhyhorn became the first Bond Hybrid as it took Lady Ledian, Liepard Noir and Mylène's Shuppet to take him down]].

* BattleCouple: Mylène and her boyfriend Ivan travel together and aim to become a strong battle couple. Both have the edge of being in sync in Tag-Team Battles. Her starter is a Nidorina, which ties to her relationship with Ivan.

* {{Irony}}: Mylène is a LovableCoward and owns a [[OurGhostsAreDifferent Shuppet/Banette]].
* LovableCoward: She was scared in venturing to the deeper parts of Glittering Cave, which was why she and Ivan went to another direction.
