Apollo expresses concern as it seems her spiritual powers have gotten powerful over the years...powerful enough to cause harm.

* CutenessProximity: He has this about his little sister, Prosecutorverse Franziska. Canonverse Franziska does not appreciate this when he calls her adorable in court.
** He also is slowly getting worn down by Canonverse Trucy despite only knowing her for a little over a day so far in the story. He can't help but be warmed up to Trucy's kind and bright personality.

* TheRival: Like canon, Phoenix and Edgeworth are this.
** Mia and Prosecutorverse Phoenix also have this to a lesser degree.

* SurroundedByIdiots: Certainly thinks this way when dealing with the zany members of the Wright Anything Agency (and Maya.)
** Not to mention his seething about Larry lying to him about his whereabouts during the time of the crime he's been accused of.
** Larry in general provokes this reaction for him. As does the witness [[TotallyRadical Maxie Mumm]].

* BrokenAce: Despite being a [[ChildProdigy child prodigy]], she was very broken up about her mother [[ParentalAbandonment abandoning her and her father]] while she was very small. And the story hints that Manfred is no better of a father than his canon counterpart. She clings to her only emotional support, her adoptive brother Phoenix. But even then she refuses to show how broken or vulnerable she is with even Phoenix unless they are in private.

* AmbiguousSituation: For some reason she's adopted by Simon, despite the UR-1 incident never happening. Something must of happened to her [[MissingMom mother]] in order for her to be adopted by Simon Blackquill.

* GoodParents: Gregory is portrayed as an excellent father, both to his biological son and his stepdaughters, Mia and Maya.
** He also does his best to comfort his son and Phoenix after both are terribly distraught about the deaths of the Mr. and Mrs. Wright.

* AmbiguousSituation: The UR-1 incident never happened, but apparently he still goes by the title of "Twisted Samurai" despite never going to jail. How he got it is unclear at this time.
** Also how it came to be that he adopted Athena. Something must of happened to lead to that but at this time we're still in the dark.

* FirstNameBasis: Everyone else is called by their last name with an honorific. With the exception of his girlfriend; he calls her by her first name with an honorific, “Maya-chan”.
** And just like canon, he refers to Athena by her first name.

Phoenix's deceased parents, who died when Phoenix was only 10 years old. Just who their murderer is one of the biggest mysteries of the story.

* BuxomIsBetter: So much so that Prosecutor Phoenix nearly had a heart attack when Maya first channeled Mia in front of him.

* MsFanservice: This is Mia after all. Prosecutor Nick was a little unprepared to witness [[GenkiGirl Maya]] to transform into her [[BuxomIsBetter sister]].
