* SirSwearsALot: The black female member, who's always dropping lots of [[ClusterFBomb Cluster F-Bombs]].

* ArrangedMarriage: Vought engineered his MeetCute with Nubia and them becoming a couple for marketing-purposes. It's implied that it wasn't all fake in the beginning, but the cracks are really starting to show in the present.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He alludes to some childhood trauma that no one will give him time to work through.
* {{Expy}}: Of ComicBook/BlackPanther as the (alleged) prince of an African country double-timing as a superhero.
* FakeNationality: In-universe. He pretends to be the prince of Nubia for his Supe-persona, but in reality he's from Bakersfield.
* GroinAttack: From his wife’s accidental thunderclap attack, much to his dismay.
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: Deconstructed. Him and Nubia ''only'' get along when they beat the shit out of others, but outside of that they're a terrible couple and can barely stand to be around each other.
* {{Jerkass}}: A violent and neglectful prick.
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Puts on a stereotypical African accent when in public, but drops it the second he's in private. Nubia even comments on it during their first meeting.
* {{Sadist}}: It's implied that he gets turned on by brutally beating people, judging by how he has sex with Nubia after they nearly kill Groundhawk.

* ArrangedMarriage: The Vought equivalent. Her and Nubian Prince's MeetCute through their fight with Groundhawk was a set-up by Vought to make them more marketable as a Supe-couple. Granted there did seem to be a spark beyond that between them, but it's long since died.
* ElectricBlackGuy: Her main powers are shooting purple electricity.
* {{Expy}}: She's basically ComicBook/{{Storm|MarvelComics}}, if Storm was a {{Sadist}} who got sexually turned on by violence.
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: Deconstructed. Nubian Prince and her only really get along when they beat others to a bloody pulp. Outside of that they're constantly fighting.
* {{Jerkass}}: Just the same as her husband, violent and arrogant.
* {{Sadist}}: Like her husband, she seems to genuinely enjoy beating people bloody, to the point that it turns her on.
* ShockAndAwe: Has the power to throw lightning and summon thunderstorms.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Nubia in the comics was brought BackFromTheDead and little more than a braindead zombie, shuffling around the G-Men's mansion while begging people to put her out of her misery. Nubia in the series is alive and, apart from her failing marriage, seems to be doing well for herself.
* TeamMemberInTheAdaptation: Inverted. She was part of the G-Men in the comics, but in the series she seems to have worked alone before getting married to Nubian Prince.

* {{Expy}}: Basically a "villainous" version of ComicBook/{{Wolverine}}.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Is barefoot and shirtless for some reason.

* SoleSurvivor: Every parent gets killed except for Ghost's mother, who is saved by the Homelander.

* HasTwoMommies: He has two fathers.

* MakeMeWannaShout: Really the only thing he can do with a boombox for a head. Though that doesn't make him any less lethal if he wants to be.

* AxCrazy: While getting revenge on his dad is justified, the sadistic way he murders him and the fact he ''wears his face'' after words is not.
