* ArmorPiercingSlap: He's done it twice: once in the second film (''The Daughter of Darkness''), and once in the final episode of ''Tenchi in Tokyo''.

** In the first instance, it was to break up the fight between Ryoko and Mayuka, in which [[NotWhatItLooksLike Ryoko appeared to be the aggressor]]. Tenchi slaps Ryoko in the face [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4aMmAZFm1A on impulse to make her stop]]. However, Tenchi apologizes for it immediately afterward, and tries to explain that he didn't know what to make of Mayuka but is willing to give her a chance because he did with all of the other girls who showed up at his house. Though later in the film, Tenchi's grandfather reveals [[spoiler:Ryoko had been acting on instinct to protect Tenchi, because she had sensed Mayuka was a threat to him]].
** In the second instance, it was comeuppance on the BigBad for manipulating him and his family to split them apart, but was done mainly [[GetAholdOfYourselfMan to calm her down]] as she had been in the midst of a VillainousBreakdown. After which, he tells her that he and the others didn't hate her and would have agreed to [[spoiler: be friends with her [[CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot had she simply asked]]]].

* WouldHitAGirl: As noted in the first ArmorPiercingSlap entry.

* AluminiumChristmasTrees: A [[https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabbit Cabbit]] is a type of cryptid that some people claim to have seen in real life.

* RoyalRapier: A high-tech version of one serves as her WeaponOfChoice. Its tip can even fire [[EnergyWeapon Frickin' Laser Beams]]!

* WhipItGood: Her other WeaponOfChoice: an energy whip that can tear the hell out of anything it makes contact with.

* BladeBelowTheShoulder: His WeaponOfChoice is a LaserBlade that manifests from the front of his gauntlet. And he can do this twice for DualWielding.

* WhipItGood: She wields a whip as her WeaponOfChoice.

* DarkSkinnedBlond: A trait shared by her entire extended family.

Beyond that, Kiyone isn't shown to have any romantic or flirtatious moments with Tenchi during the course of ''Tokyo''.

* IllGirl: She became very sick after fleeing Jurai. She died before she got to arrive on Earth.

* CryCute: In the OVA, also sheds ManlyTears, TenderTears, and OcularGushers. Come to think of it, she cries a lot, especially for an uber-badass SpacePirate PhysicalGod(dess). Then again, considering the nature of her mother (see Washu's AbusiveMom entry below), the fact that she was locked in a tomb for 700 years, and spent a good amount of time before that as a psychotic killing machine massacring millions if not billions for Kagato, her options were probably either tears or StepfordSmiler. Probably both.

* IDidWhatIHadToDo: [[spoiler:Didn't exactly like having to seal Yugi away, and even [[ApologeticAttacker apologizes and]] [[CryCute sheds tears for her]] when it's said and done.]]

* CryCute: Not her directly but she certainly thinks that a crying Tenchi was such. [[spoiler: It was enough to make her drop the act of pretending to be their mother when she saw how much Tenchi was affected by it.]] Later on, she even gushes to Airi about how cute he was.

* NiceHat: Wears a spiffy beret in her GXP uniform.

Ayeka's younger sister, who despite being the youngest girl is generally the most mature. Is always close friends with Ryo-Ohki. [[SpinOff Starred]] in her own series, Anime/PrettySammy and it's subsequent spin-offs.

* StoryBreakerPower: [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe As demonstrated by Z]], not only can Tenchi create the [[InfinityPlusOneSword Light Hawk Wings]], he can collapse all of reality solely by existing. * OnlySaneWoman: In ''Tenchi Universe'' she is by far the most down-to-earth and reasonable of the women living in the Masaki house.
* PromotedToLoveInterest: Played with but not given solid form in ''Tenchi in Tokyo'', whereas Kiyone was only good friends with Tenchi in the previous ''Universe'' series. When Kiyone reunites with Ryoko in space, the very idea of Kiyone becoming Tenchi's girlfriend is brought up, likely as a tactic to goad Ryoko into returning. Beyond that, Kiyone isn't shown to have any romantic or flirtatious moments with Tenchi during the course of ''Tokyo''.

Yosho's wife and thus Tenchi and Tennyo's grandmother, Airi is a daughter of the High Priest of the influential Three Lives church worshipping [[PhysicalGod the Choushin]], and first met Yosho when he was sent to the Galaxy Academy to let the scandal about [[IncestIsRelative his relationship with Misaki]] to die down. They've got off surprisingly well together, so Seto [[PairTheSpares decided to marry them off]] for the whole convenience. It helped that this marriage [[TheChessmaster let her sideline]] the [[TheRival powerful Airai empire]], envious of the close relationship the Juraians have with the Choushin. Airi then went to rise off through the ranks of the Galaxy Police to become the Jurai sectoral commander, and is a BFF with the Academy Superintendant Mikami Kuramitsu (not to mention Lady Seto).

* ComedicShotacon: Her exasperation of not being able to meet all-grown-up Tenchi due to the piles of paperwork in the fourth OVA is PlayedForLaughs with the implication that she just [[IncestIsRelative wants to bang her own grandson]].

* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: She has purple hair and is a proper princess. However, it's slightly cheating, since [[spoiler:WordOfGod states that [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair her hair is actually blue]] and she altered it to be purple in order to attract her half-brother/fiancé Yosho.]]

** [[AllThereinTheManual In OVAs supplements]] it's mentioned that she originally had the same blue Kamiki hair as Misaki and Sasami, but altered her appearance to look more like Yosho's mother Funaho as an attempt to get closer to him. Apparently her father's purple was as close as she could manage to Funaho's black hair. The process also made her hair straighter. * PlotRelevantAgeUp: Heavily implied to be what is happening to her while she's sleeping at the end of ''Tenchi In Tokyo''.

A suitor that Emperor Azus brought to Earth to marry Ayeka. Tenchi had to duel him in order to win Ayeka and Sasami's freedoms to stay on Earth. He only appeared in one episode but went on to be Seina's SadisticTeacher in ''Anime/TenchiMuyoGXP''.
