* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: Marshall is by all means a decent guy in spite of his financial woes. [[spoiler:''Tekken 8'' marks the first instance he pulls a FaceHeelTurn out of desperation to escape his PerpetualPoverty. And he somehow manages to return back to the side of good offscreen, given that he only shows up in the Hope ending]].

%%* * FinalBoss: In the spin-off game ''Death by Degrees''.Degrees'', she's the last boss Nina faces and by far the toughest - before the fight starts you can hide to ambush Anna and have enough time to hit her with at least one [[OneHitKill X-Ray move]] which does a lot of damage, but she'll still have a ton of health left.

Added DiffLines:

* HeadTurningBeauty: A trait she shares with her sister, to the point where in some endings guys will come onto Anna first when the William sisters are hanging around together. Marduk got lust at first sight of her and tried to carry her off when he knocked her out in his storyline.

* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Marshall's primary motivation throughout the franchise is quite simply to get more money. Sometimes, he's more motivated by glory or revenge, but since both his dojo and restaurant have fallen into disrepute, he needs to compete in the King of Iron Fist to pay his bills.

Dominatrix is quite a precisely defined character, as per the trope definition "The dominatrix, [...], is a professional whose role is to fulfill a masochistic fantasy." Nina mercilessly stomps on her grounded foe (covered under Kick Them While Theyre Down), but that doesn't qualify her to actually be a dominatrix in the correct sense.

* {{Dominatrix}}: To a lesser extent than Anna, but her victory pose has her step on her downed opponent.

* AllForNothing: After many humiliating defeats, Law truly gets serious with his training and gains a substantial amount of muscle in ''8''. He also brings his nunchaku into the ring for the first time. [[spoiler:He doesn't even make it through the qualifying rounds. This forces him to resort to even more drastic measures in the name of scoring a decent pay cheque.]]

* FightingYourFriend: [[spoiler:Law finds himself on the baddies' side in ''8'' and clashes with Paul, who joined the resistance force against Kazuya.]]

** [[spoiler:He takes Nina's offer to join G Corporation in ''8''; the same organisation that currently holds the entire planet hostage in a kill-or-be-killed regime.]]

* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: [[spoiler:''Tekken 6'' showed Law's willingness to use underhanded methods to improve his chances of getting the tournament prize money, including blatantly cheating and rigging the brackets in his favour. His ending also shows him backstabbing his own friends to steal the entire pot from them. ''Tekken 8'' takes the next logical step and sees Law join forces with G Corporation after Paul forgets their agreement to split the prize money. Paul even points out that Law's obsession with money has driven him mad, though considering how desperate Law's financial situation is at that point, it may be hard to blame him.]]

* ThisIsUnforgivable: In ''6'', Law still remembers the incident very well. He made it clear that he will never forgive nor forget what Baek has done.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: He's never seen outside of his armor, and his appearance gets more and more freaky as the series goes on, looking everything from insectoid to robotic to like he's half octopus. * {{Tomboy}}: To Anna's [[TomboyAndGirlyGirl Girly Girl,]] though that isn't saying much. In comparison to Anna's more provocative outfits, Nina's costumes are often tied together with some elements of combat gear; even the wedding dress she wears in ''7'' notably has a holster for her pistol hidden away. She's also more reserved and no-nonsense in her temperament, whereas Anna often exudes a seductive and more outwardly girly aura.
