The main protagonist of the B. Ichi manga, he's a young Dokeshi known as the "Kyokotsu." His power is to gain the abilities of animals by biting animal bones; e.g., a bird bone will give him the power of flight. His condition is that he must do one good deed every day to use his power, or else he will lose something "precious" inside of him. Childish and simple-minded, he is an avid fan of the Charisma Justice TV show and even copies the main character's "Justice Blade" attack, but has trouble remembering that it comes on every Sunday at 10:30. It is later revealed that Shotaro can draw power from any bone, and even call upon the memories and personality of the deceased. He greatly values his friendship with Emine and thus diligently performs his good deeds. Even though normal people hate and despise Dokeshi, he holds nothing against them. He goes on a journey to locate his childhood friend, Emine alongside a girl named Mana.

Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, more commonly known as Ben or Ben 10, he has appeared in every episode to date and is the main character in all three of the Ben 10 series: Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force, and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. He is first introduced in the pilot episode And Then There Were 10, where he finds the Omnitrix and then, throughout the series, learns to use the immensely strong and powerful alien device, including the great responsibility of wielding it wisely, to become a true hero. In Alien Force, his eyes and hair have shaded a bit and he wears a green jacket with the number 10 over a black t-shirt with blue jeans and wears black low-top sneakers. He is also shown to be healthier and much more skilled in unarmed hand-to-hand combat. Ben uses the Omnitrix as his main weapon/equipment.

Ben was the wielder of the Omnitrix, which gives him the power to modify his own genetic code in order to turn into various alien creatures, litterally making him an alien shape-shifter. Traditionally, he can only transform into 10 alien creatures at the beginning of both the original series and Alien Force, but he later gains additional forms by either unlocking them or by scanning the DNA of the creatures he meets. At the end of the original series, his arsenal included 20 aliens, while his current complete list is 37 aliens discovered. When transforming into an alien, Ben gets all the creature's features, including its appearance, voice, abilities, and weaknesses. Though he mostly retains his personality, there are some cases where the transformation causes change in it, such as Rath becoming far more aggressive, Spidermonkey acting more childish, or Big Chill being affected by his species' reproduction instincts. In addition to the primary transformations and evolutionary functions, the Omnitrix could both be used to various purpose. Both include a automatical translation system, that allows Ben to communicate freely with most aliens that don't speak english, as well as remaining understandable no matter what form he uses. In addition to his Omnitrixpowers, Ben, in Alien Force, has been trained in hand-to-hand fight by his black belt cousin Gwen (as shown in Be-Knighted), his former plumber grandfather Max, as well as various years-fighting aliens, and received a basic Plumber training. Though he has only been trained on a weekly basis in order to minimize his reliance on the Omnitrix, he's still proved to be quite skilled, being able to take off Manny's blasters while in human form in Above and Beyond. During the Hightbreed invasion story arc, the Omnitrix displayed the abilitie to manipulate and repair genetic damage, a function he used to cure [=DNAliens=] and save Hightbreeds from extinction. Azmuth also mentionned he could use it to bring back to life any species stored on Primus.

Kharn is a Space Marine of the World Eaters legion, the 9th legion created by the God-Emperor of Mankind. Kharn was captain of the 8th Assault Company of the World Eaters Legion, and also served as the personal equerry to Angron, the legion's Primarch. He was actually a calming influence to the Primarch, but he was still an unstable berzerker even back then. When the Horus Heresy came to be and the World Eaters (quickly) fell to Chaos, Kharn continued to be the most bloodthirsty of them. He was at the front of every charge, including the assault on the Imperial Palace. His slaughter was untold, and when the Heresy was defeated they found him on top of a mountain of corpses, assumed to be dead. When his fellow World Eaters carried him off, they found they he still live, although whether it was because of Khorne bringing him back to life or sear spite for life is unsure.

Khârn is one of the most deadly yet unstable melee fighters in the galaxy and he is just as likely to attack his own allies in a berserk fury as he is the enemy. Armed with a Plasma Pistol and his ancient chainaxe Gorechild, he is able to tear through armour, flesh and bone with ease. To emphasise that he is truly favoured by Khorne, he is subject to the Blessing of the Blood God, and as a result he is immune to the effects of psychic powers. Massive and ancient; Gorechild is a chainaxe artifact from the time of the Great Crusade. Gorechild's jagged whirling teeth were torn from the jaws of Mica Dragons on Luther Mcintyre and its shaft is forged of adamantium. Even in the hands of an unskilled user (which Khârn is clearly not) the axe can split an armoured Space Marine from head to crotch. In the hands of the Betrayer, it can deliver devastating blows with deadly accuracy.

* {{AntiMagic}}: Thanks to the Gift of Khorne, Kharn is practically immune to psychic and magic powers. This only effects things that are used directly on him though, so throwing a fire ball at a {{Exploding Barrel}} next to him is fair game.

Diamonds Droog was originally the Draconian Dignitary, an Agent of Derse in the Troll's session of SGRUB. He was exiled to Alternia during the course of the session, and eventually formed the Midnight Crew along with Jack Noir, Courtyard Droll, and Hegemonic Brute. Diamonds is the tall, intimidating-looking fellow of the Midnight Crew. He wears a suit similar to Hearts Boxcars, but he adds a tie as an accessory, which none of the other members wear. His hat is also easily identifiable as his, and the combination of these personal traits make him to appear to be quite vain. Droog has zero tolerance for anything and has an extremely short temper, even more so than Spades Slick. This does not affect his judgement, however, and he remains extremely intelligent and dangerous even though he is nearly always in a state of being pissed off. Diamonds, in short, is efficient, professional, sadistic, and ruthless. Despite his murderous tendencies and affinity for kidnapping, he considers himself the most well-dressed and civilized of the crew, having multiple Backup Hats as well as custom-tailored suits in storage. His short temper is not quelled by his own members, and he will lash out at other members of the crew if they do something he feels is against his own personal moral fiber and what it is to be in something so mysterious and shadowy as the Midnight Crew. He also reads the pin-up magazine "The Gray Ladies".

By default, Kamen Rider Ouja is a melee-based Rider. The fighting style of his alter ego, Takeshi Asakura, helped him in his victories more often than any of his Advent cards, although more than anything else, he used his Sword Vent card to summon a spiral sword. Once Ouja defeated Kamen Riders Gai and Raia, he had access to both their contract monsters and their Advent cards, turning the already homicidal Ouja into an even more dangerous force to be reckoned with. Ouja is a melee based Rider like majority of the Kamen Riders. However, he is extremely sadistic, showing no mercy as well as superior tactics over his opponents. He fights relentlessly, but only if he is sure he will win, and isn't hesitant to use other Riders as factors or pawns in his battles. His Sword Vent is his most frequently used weapon. He becomes even more powerful when he forms Contracts with Metalgelas and Evildiver. This allows him access to Gai's Strike Vent and Raia's Swing Vent, making him a more versatile as well as a more deadly force. His Contract Monster Venosnaker participates in his battles, and is often seen as Dragredder's evil equivalent in the series. However, Ouja is weaker against far range opponents, his own unstable nature outclasses his fighting potential, he rarely uses his special card Steal Vent (Possibly because he is comfortable with his choice of weapon, as well as only using it to disarm Riders, which is an ineffective strategy), and he rarely takes advantage of the more powerful Genocider, using the united Contract Monster as a more menacing or intimidating distraction in the battlefield. This may also prove that the united Contract Monster is difficult to control, but is restrainable.

At first, he is only able to use his powers in movies; however in Viewtiful Joe 2, he demonstrated, when in the real world, that his V-Watch will respond when in front of an audience, enabling him to transform outside of the movie. Joe's a pretty easygoing guy, who loves the fact that he's recently been getting chances to fight alongside his favorite comic book, television, and video game heroes. But, despite his fanboyism, he still tries his hardest to use his powers to protect innocent dudes from harm.

At the beginning of nearly every game, Link is just a regular child or young adult, with little to no specialized skills. At the end of the game, however, Link becomes a full-fledged hero with many abilities. Link grows to be an exceptional swordsman throughout each game, usually learning powerful sword techniques. In some games, however, his skill with a sword remains consistent. His skill with other weapons and items allows him to easily adapt and master each new tool he acquires. He often employs new items and equipment in his battles with new enemies just after getting them, almost always during a boss fight, giving him a constant advantage in battle. Link shows himself to be an excellent marksman, showing great skill with a Bow, Boomerang, Slingshot, and other projectile weapons. Link is also very agile, proven as he is able to perform back-flips and somersaults with ease to dodge his enemies' attacks at the very start of his adventures. Additionally, Link possesses great physical strength, able to easily push stone blocks many times his weight and overpower enemies far larger than himself.

The Lone Wanderer was born on July 13, 2258 to James and Catherine at the Jefferson Memorial, where they worked on Project Purity. Catherine died shortly after giving birth due to cardiac arrest. James abandoned the project and traveled to Vault 101 via Megaton, with the help of then-Paladin Cross. The Wanderer's childhood is kept a secret in order to shelter the child from the outside world, and to keep up the pretense of the social experiment for which the Vault was constructed. Much of the Lone Wanderer's childhood is lost in a blur of white light and voices, which Nadine attributes to a brain surgery operation conducted by tribal cultists from Point Lookout. What is known is that for 19 years, the Lone Wanderer lived in Vault 101 without incident, but in 2277, 200 years after the Great War, James disappeared without any explanation. The young Lone Wanderer, with the help of Amata Almodovar, left the safety of the Vault to look for James in the ruins of Washington, DC. After finding him, Project Purity was put back on track, but the reunion was cut short when the Enclave commander Augustus Autumn arrived on the scene and demanded ownership of the Project. James was unwilling to allow this and sacrificed himself by filling the control chamber of Project Purity with intense radiation. Colonel Autumn, however, survived.

Chibiterasu is a little, celestial wolf puppy who appears from the Celestial Plain to save Nippon in Okamiden. Although Amaterasu defeated Yami and all the Demons in Nippon, they mysteriously return. Chibiterasu's adventure starts out in Yakushi Village where he first must save Issun from a pair of Imps. He's Amaterasu's son as he has the ability to control the sun and has a mini version of her Reflector, Divine Retribution. Brush gods also mention that their parents helped his mother. Chibiterasu then sets out on his own journey to free Nippon from evil.

Chibiterasu is a "young form of existence" and not fully grown. Although he retains several abilities of Amaterasu, including the use of the Celestial Brush, he lacks her power. This will be reflected in the plot and gameplay such as how Chibiterasu's ink does not refill by itself when playing in Old Hand Mode. However despite not being as powerful, Chibiterasu does have his own special powers. He can team up with partners to battle enemies, solve puzzles and explore the overworld. Chibiterasu can use a special brush to control his partner to cross patches of land that both of them cannot cross together. Chibiterasu can also have his partners dismount and he can cross the unstable ground without them. Unlike in Okami, Chibiterasu has the ability to travel underwater as well as guide his mermaid partner Nanami through it. Chibiterasu also has to fight many battles in thee water. Chibiterasu starts out only with the Reflector Divine Retribution however, he can craft more Weapons such as Rosaries and Glaives from collected Demon Parts.

Parts.

Zeratul is a respected Dark Templar. He is somewhat secretive and calculating, but is nevertheless honorable and loyal to his species. He would gladly risk anything to safeguard Aiur. He often speaks in riddles, preferring that others come up with the answers to the questions he puts forward rather than answering them himself. During the Great War, Zeratul allied with the Khalai Tassadar, despite his hatred for the Conclave that once banished his forbears. The Dark Templar personally slew the cerebrate Zasz, but in turn accidentally gave the Overmind the location of Aiur. Zeratul was manipulated by Kerrigan during the Brood War into killing the Second Overmindn and Raszagal, the Dark Templar Matriarch. These events, and the discovery of the hybrids, led Zeratul to go into seclusion to contemplate his actions and investigate. As the Second Great War approached he began to take a more active role once again.

Sūn Wùkōng is the name given to this character by his teacher, Patriarch Subhuti, which means "Awakened to Emptiness"; he's also known as the Monkey King. He is born on Flower Fruit Mountain from a stone egg that forms from an ancient rock created by the coupling of heaven and earth. After angering several gods and coming to the attention of the Jade Emperor, he is given a minor position in heaven as the Protector of Horses so they can keep an eye on him. When he realizes that he is not considered a full-fledged god, he becomes very angry. Upon returning to his mountain, he puts up a flag and declares himself the "Great Sage Equaling Heaven." He is placed in charge in guarding the peach gardens, where the peaches in the garden bear fruit every 3,000-years, eating its flesh will bestow immortality, so Wukong eats one and becomes more powerful and matchless. Later, he starts making trouble in Heaven and defeats an army of 100,000 celestial soldiers, led by the Four Heavenly Kings, Erlang Shen, and Nezha. Eventually, the Jade Emperor appeals to Buddha, who detains Wukong under a mountain called Five Elements Mountain. He is later set free when Xuanzang comes upon him during his pilgrimage and accepts him as a disciple. Due to his service in protecting Xuanzang from all threats, Wukong was elevated to Buddhahood.

His primary weapon is the "will-following golden-banded staff," which he can shrink down to the size of a needle and keep behind his ear, as well as expand it to gigantic proportions. The staff, originally a pillar supporting the undersea palace of the Dragon King of the East Sea, weighs 18,000 pounds, which he pulls out of its support and swings with ease. The Dragon King, unwilling to see a monkey making troubles in his favorite place, also gives him a suit of golden armor. These gifts, combined with his devouring of the peaches of immortality, three jars of immortality pills, and his time being tempered in Laozi's eight-trigram furnace (which gives him a steel-hard body and fiery golden eyes), makes Sun the strongest member by far of the pilgrimage. Wukong can also do a "cloud somersault," enabling him to travel vast distances in a single leap. The monkey, nimble and quick-witted, uses these skills to defeats all but the most powerful of demons on the journey. He possesses an immense amount of strength; he is able to lift his 13,500 jīn (8,100 kg or 17,881 lbs) staff with ease. He is also superbly fast, able to travel 108,000 li (54,000 kilometers or 33,554 mi) in one somersault. Wukong knows 72 transformations, which allows him to transform into various animals and objects; he has trouble, however, transforming into other people, because he is unable to complete the transformation of his tail. Each of his hairs possesses magical properties, and is capable of transforming either into a clone of the Monkey King himself, or various weapons, animals, and other objects. He also knows spells that can command wind, part water, conjure protective circles against demons, and freeze humans, demons, and gods alike.
