* TookALevelInBadass: Charlie has been on a tribe that has been badass enough to get through almost every single immunity challenge and play things safe but he got his chance to show his true strength upon winning an immunity chance against Hunter. So far, every main threat against him in the immunity challenges since then has been eliminated right away as that occurs with Hunter and Tiffany. His performance in hide and seek has also revealed the true colors of several players including Hunter and Q.

Added DiffLines:

** JerkassHasAPoint: Her reasoning for flipping on (most of) Nami is actually understandable given how they alienated her. And her idea to target Charlie right when Jury started was proven right by him winning and coming close to winning several individual immunities.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While Venus can be rude, condescending and demeaning she isn't heartless. Given that Liz and Randen treated her the best out of the Namis she did connect with them and genuinely felt awful for Randen's medevacuation.

Hate Sink is NRLEP for a reason. Since Q's got removed for w similar reason, Venus isn't one either unless we're solely talking about her game self and this hits a little too personal for a reality shoe contestant

* HateSink: The editors make it very clear that Venus is a petty and vindictive bully who not only is easily set off by any criticism, but the moment she's in a position of power and control, will immediately use it to insult and humiliate her competition. Every single player notes that she's a negative presence who actively contributes to the tension on the island.

** This is further exacerbated by not taking Liz on the Applebee's reward.

Removing Hate Sink from Q because calling him someone set up solely to be hated seems a little extreme; especially when it's used to label a real person.

* IdenticalStranger: Liz and Moriah bare a passing resemblance to each other to the point of members of the crew confusing them with each other during the pre-season.
* ItsPersonal: She takes Q upstaging her at the tribal council Tevin was eliminated in, a blindside she orchestrated, very personally and swears to get Q out of the game at all costs as revenge.
* LostFoodGrievance: PlayedForDrama. Liz, who hasn't eaten at all the whole game, begs Q to take her on the Applebees reward, not only because she's hungry but because she has an emotional investment in the meal because it's a weekly ritual for her and her daughter, and comes to truly despise Q when he refuses to choose her.

* HateSink: By the post merge, Q has dropped all pretenses of being nice, regularly plays a false martyr game for sympathy when it's clear all he's doing is setting up blindsides (inadvertently but still). The editors and the players make it clear that like Venus he is a PERFECT finals goat because not one person likes him anymore, and are only keeping him around as a vote. He's awful to pretty much everyone ironically not much different from one of the people he claimed was a goat and has zero sympathetic traits at least gamewise.
* {{Hypocrite}}: He has a tendency to show off the exact same traits he hates in others. He chides Jellinsky for quitting, but has attempted to allow the tribe to vote him off twice, he hates Jess' bizarre thought process, but is shown to be the weirdest Yanu of the bunch, he tries to teach Bhanu not to be so reckless, but Q proves to be just as reckless and shortsighted, and votes out Tim for his treachery, only to turn on his own closest ally Tiff without hesitation.

* EntitledBastard: Downplayed. While it's completely understandable why she should be picked and the episode painted her breakdown in a sympathetic light, [[JerkassHasAPoint Q is correct]] that he does not owe her anything given the fact that they are not friends or allies, and the fact she tried to vote him out last night. She puts on a facade of being the bigger person afterwards, but both she and Q understand that it's fake and she's still upset about the fact he didn't pick her.

* ChaoticStupid: The best way to describe Q's post-merge gameplay is that he follows whatever random whim happens to come into his head with absolutely no regard for other players feelings, consequences, or logic, making him both a dangerous wild card and a deeply frustrating personality to deal with.

Added DiffLines:

* WildCard: Q's extremely unpredictable and seemingly random gameplay throws off nearly every other player, to the point that he is used three times in a row as a smokescreen to disguise a blindside, since the target believes no one could possibly want to keep him around any longer.

to:

* BaitTheDog: In the beginning Q was seen as a cranky if well meaning, tribe leader who was an underdog on the Yanu tribe which kept losing immunity so it was easy to like him. Unfortunately during the post merge after Tevin's blindside, Q decides to be a JerkWithAHeartOfJerk being generally rude to his former tribemates, jumping at the chance to take out Tiffany all because he couldn't keep his mouth shut about Tiff's idol which COULD have helped him whittle down Siga. He also is developing a martyr cause, which is irritating people including the usually tolerant Ben. And to add insult to injury, when given a choice between having a feast for the Yanu 3 + Maria or letting Liz finally be able to eat something she's not allergic to, he chooses the former.

Added DiffLines:

* DecoyAntagonist: For Yanu's storyline. Kenzie is built up as a dangerous strategic threat and schemer for most of the tribal portion, but upon reaching the merge, it becomes clear that Kenzie is actually the nicest member of Yanu who will toy with betraying people, but only if necessary and not because she enjoys it. It's actually Q who betrays Yanu after the Merge.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Irony}}: Kenzie spent most of the season seen as the the most villainous member of Yanu, but despite toying with the idea of betraying both Q and Tiff, she never does so. Q betrays her first, and Maria steals Kenzie's plan to blindside Tiff and leaves her out.

Added DiffLines:

* CrazyEnoughToWork: Maria's plan to blindside Tiff using Q as a smokescreen requires getting either Liz or Venus, who both want Q gone, on board. While everyone else in on the plan lobbies for Maria to recruit Venus since she has less of a personal stake in the matter, Maria instead loops in Liz, to everyone's protest, since she trusts Liz to think logically no matter how upset she is. It turns out her read is right and Liz casts the vote that sends Tiff home.
* ExcellentJudgeOfCharacter: One of Maria's best strengths is her accurate read on the character and rationality of the other players, leveraging it to great effect when it comes time to wrangle votes.

The fact that no one blames Maria for costing them the Reward Challenge in Episode 4 shows how close the group is.
