* FaceDeathWithDignity: When she is fatally injured, leading her to be very angry with Cade when he saves her.

* BadassNormal: Unlike her brother, she's no Jedi. Just a really good soldier.

* LongLostSibling: [[spoiler:She's Cade's maternal half-sister, and neither of them knew this.]]

* MommyIssues: She resents her mother for leaving her and her father to be TheBaroness as well as being a ManipulativeBitch.
* SiblingYinYang: She's dedicated to proving herself worthy of the family name while Cade would do anything to ditch the responsibility of his own.

* EveryoneHasStandards: He really intended to negotiate with the Jedi at Ossus and was horrified and appalled when the Sith overrode him and forced him to be part in the massacre that followed. He's also appalled and horrified when Darth Azard forces him to bombard Napdu and to send stormtroopers to finish off eventual survivors, and by the poisoning of Da Soocha.

* ParentsAsPeople: While he's strict toward her and originally wanted a son instead of a daughter, Rulf does love Gunn and gives her valuable advices and lessons, and the main reason he stays in Krayt's empire is to protect her.

* WorkingWithTheEx: Since they're both moffs, he still works with his ex-wife, Nyna. And to rub in salt into the wound, their boss is her new lover.

The director of the Imperial Diplomatic Corps and a moff on the Moff Council. He was sent by the Chiss Ascendancy as a liaison to the Fel Empire after the Ascendancy received word that the Empire was about to engage in war against the Galactic Alliance, though this ultimately resulted in Fehlaaur being a moff to the Sith Empire instead shortly after his arrival.

* EveryoneHasStandards : Even if he's willing to serve and give informations to Darth Krayt in exchange for the Imperial Mission to continue, he's shocked when Darth Wyyrlok decrees that the Imperial Mission shall now teaches Sith values and the Sith code to the people of the galaxy and tries to talk to Darth Krayt about it, but Wyyrlok overules him.

* TokenGoodTeammate: Subverted. He may look far more docile and peaceful than the other Moffs and be the leader of the Imperial Mission, which is helping many planets to develop themselves with humanitarian, educational and economic help, but he also helps Darth Krayt willingly by using the Imperial Mission to gather precious infos for Darth Krayt.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse : By the end of Legacy he's stated to have gone missing, though the circumstances and reasons for his disappearance are never revealed.

The topmost General of the Imperial Army

* BloodKnight: He views the concept of "Victory without war" of the Imperial Mission with contempt, and is more than willing to lead personally his troops in battle.
* FrontlineGeneral: He personally leads the imperial troops assaulting the Jedi temple of Taivas, this makes him a victim of the new Sith soldiers when they shoot at him and his troops to hit everyone at the temple.

* NostalgiaFilter: He resents the reduced powers and influence that the Moffs have, and is nostalgic of the Imperial Remnants era during which the Moffs had the greatest authority.

A splinter sect of the Jedi Order founded by the son of Jagged Fel, the Imperial Knights dedicate themselves to upholding the laws of the New Empire, fighting the corruption of the Dark Side, and protecting the Imperial Throne. This abandonment of political neutrality sowed no small degree of enmity with the mainstream Jedi Order, who viewed the Imperial Knights as misguided fanatics.

* LaserBlade: Like the Jedi and the Sith, Imperial Knights wield lightsabers. Theirs have a standardized design with a white blade, representing their more uniform manner of conduct.

* TheMole: To Veed, being the one who tipped him off about the Jedi-Imperial Knights meeting at Agamar, and about Nyna Calixe being Roan Fel's spy.

* TheUnreveal: His true allegiance and motives are never revealed. Was he truly loyal to Veed ? Was he instead loyal to his niece and wanted her to be the Empress ruling the empire in her father's stead ? Did he only follow his own interests ? We may never know.

* ToBeLawfulOrGood: [[spoiler:Is forced into one during '''War''' when his Emperor is prepared to unleash a deadly chemical attack on Coruscant. He chooses Good and kills Roan.]]

* HonestAdvisor: To Emperor Fel, warning him against the temptation of the dark side and that it would be his and other imperial knights' duty to stop him should he fall to it.

* OneSteveLimit: For no explained reason, he shares a first name with ''Literature/NewJediOrder'' {{recurrer}} Ganner Rhysode. He might have been named after him, given [[spoiler:[[YouShallNotPass the manner of Rhysode's death]]]].

* {{Jerkass}}: Unlike her master Treis Sinde, she has a cold and haughty attitude and acts smug toward people she feels aren't on her emperor's side such as GA remnants or Jedi.
* MyMasterRightOrWrong: Unlike Treis Sinde, Azlyn Rae or Ganner Krieg she takes Roan Fel's orders to the letter and views his view as the will of the Force, being willing of fighting and trying to kill her former master because he refused to obey Roan Fel's orders of coming back to Bastion and wanted to stay help the Mon Calamari instead.

A former Jedi classmate of Cade.

* SacrificialLion: She is killed in her only appearance to provide one of them motives for Marasiah to stand against the Sith.

* HeroesWantRedheads: She was Cade's girlfriend when the two were young and he's still attracted to her. And then there's Ganner.

* TheStarscream: Betrayed Roan Fel to the Sith. He later tries to plot against the Sith but nothing comes of it.

* BerserkButton: Downplayed,but he clearly hates to be called the Hero of Ossus, becoming bitter when Morlish Veed and Vul Isen call him that.

* TheUnreveal: His true allegiance and motives are never revealed. Was he truly loyal to Veed ? Was he instead loyal to his niece and wanted her to be the empress ruling the empire in her father's stead ? Did he only follow his own interests ? We may never know.

* CoolOldGuy: He’s visibly the oldest of the Imperial Knights. He’s also in peak physical condition and can hold his own against Sith Lords like Darth Azard.

Among the last remnants of the Old Empire, the Council of Moffs served as a check on the power of the Emperor, retaining certain executive powers such as the ability to declare war. In the years after the Yuuzhan Vong War, infiltration by the One Sith saw their loyalty eroded, culminating in them siding with Darth Krayt in his coup against the Emperor.

A very ambitious member of the Moff Council, who alongside his lover Nyna Calixte, allied with the One Sith to start a war with the Galactic Alliance. He wants to someday rule the Empire as the next Emperor, but unfortunately for him the Sith prove to be too cunning and end up taking over for themselves.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Downplayed, as he does protest to Darth Wyyrlok about the poisoning of Dac with quarren ministers yelling about it, but it's mainly because Wyyrlok did it without consulting him and that he'll be the one blamed for giving the order.
* ItsAllAboutMe: At first he looks like he has genuine fondness for Nyna Calixe who's his mistress, but he has no problem trying to cheat on her with Morrigan Corde (unaware that they are the same person) and later tells Nyna that she's nothing but just another subordinate to him, showing that he never really cared about her. When he finds out about her betrayal he has no problem poisoning and trying to shoot her.
* NotSoHarmlessVillain: Despite his arrogance and smugness and largely relying on Nyna to scheme things for him, he's not without some cunning and planning ability on his own, having been able of getting his own intelligence source in Hogrum Chalk and of finding out about Nyna's betrayal and of poisoning her after. He's also quite good with a blaster.
* PromotedToScapegoat: As "regent" he serves as this to the Sith's atrocities such as the extermination of all lifeforms on Dac, with his title being used to make others believe that he's the one who gave the order of committing these atrocities.

* WrongGenreSavvy: When he allied with the One Sith, he assumed they would put him on the throne, even when Nyla voiced her concerns over their reliability. Needless to say, he learns the hard way their true intentions.

Founded by the idealistic Jagged Fel of the Imperial Remnant in the aftermath of both the [[Literature/NewJediOrder Yuuzhan Vong War]] and the [[Literature/LegacyOfTheForce Second Galactic Civil War]], the New Empire (also known as the Fel Empire) represented a change in direction for the once-reviled regime. With the aid of the Jedi Order and his wife, Jaina Solo, Emperor Fel dedicated himself to reform and reconciliation; working tirelessly to right the wrongs of Darth Sidious and the military dictators that followed him.

In the decades to follow, the reborn Galactic Empire became a beacon of peace and stability in a galaxy scarred by war, albeit still with some of the flaws it used to have. But this peace was not to last - the manipulations of Darth Krayt and the One Sith saw the Empire take an increasingly draconian and expansionist foreign policy stance, until at last the Sith launched a coup, forcing the Fel Dynasty and their allies into exile and kickstarting a civil war between the Sith regime and Fel loyalists.

* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He's a fully-trained Imperial Knight and not someone to be taken lightly. Darth Krayt knows that the emperor he killed is an impostor because he knows that Roan Fel would have given him a fight. Fel later shows his worth by fighting and killing Darth Kruhl, and by later matching Treis Sinde and Antares Draco in combat.
