* BrokenPedestal: The destruction of Alderaan and then working closely with Darth Vader shattered broke a lot of her faith in the Empire as a force of might that stopped larger wars from breaking out and getting people killed.killed. Past that, though, while she didn’t like the Empire she still thought of them as better than the alternative of rampant anarchy. What truly destroyed her last glimmers of faith in them was the discovery that [[spoiler:the raiders that killed her mother were sent by the Empire’s propaganda unit, in order to seem like they were bringing peace to the galaxy.]]

Ambiguous Disorder is not a trope anymore, but a redirect to a YMMV entry.

* AmbiguousDisorder: More "Implied Disorder", but she apparently went to therapy for a short while in her youth, and "Might have some issues". She also checks for a few indicators of sociopathy (although far from all of them), such as pathological lying, little remorse, and lack of realistic life plans.

* TraumaButton: Unsurprisingly, Vader is this to her, having nearly killed her by doing the very thing she repeatedly asked him no to do- she nearly loses all composure and flees from the auction she's in upon spotting him. AS it turns out, he's had a very lasting effect on her psyche, and she's absolutely ''terrified'' of him finding her, despite acknowledging they may cross paths again.

* NotSoDifferent:
** Both Luke and Aphra lived with loved one(s) in relative isolation with some degree of ParentalAbandonment, but said loved one(s) were/was killed. They also have DaddyIssues, though Luke doesn't have it until later. Aphra apologizes to Luke when he reveals his family died after she accuses him of not knowing any better than being a poster boy for the Rebellion... [[BaitAndSwitch but she's actually apologizing about a screw-up in the current situation]]. Triple-Zero is happy to point out Luke having a similar traumatic past but remaining a far better person morally shoots a big hole in Aphra's HadToBeSharp rationalizations for her actions.
** She's been compared to Han, as both of them don't really care about the war or what each side wants to do, [[SomebodyElsesProblem they just want to mind their own business]]. She could do without the comparison, though, thank you very much.
** Triple-Zero makes the case that, given her propensity for leaving a lot of death and destruction in her wake and backstabbing anyone nearby in pursuit of her goals, she's a lot more like him than she cares to admit. Her only counter is that she has just enough of a conscience to keep her from sleeping well after the things she's done.
