Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* CharClone: One of the two examples in-game, the other being Raphael. And she has the hallmarks to prove it: in fact, she sports a red, skintight bodysuit, plus a CoolMask. On top of that, considering her overall look; she fits the mold of being [[RedOnesGoFaster one of the fastest characters]] in the game and is TheRival to one of the game's mainstays in the form of Heishiro Mitsurugi.

* HeightAngst: In his bio, it is stated that he feels that the {{BFS}} is not suited for someone of his height. This is ironic, because Siegfried is at the height of his V counterpart, the tallest he has ever been. This is also ironic to be brought up now, because he was much shorter in Edge and Soil Calibur 1, at 157 cm and 165 cm respectively. This makes sense because it was already hinted at in Edge that he had angst about his height.

->Siegfried is a beginner-friendly character in early stages that becomes one of the more difficult characters to play effectively later on. He's a power-based character with a strong mix-up game, and has special stances that require mastery. His attacks have long reach, but are often linear and easy to dodge. A unique trait introduce in this game is the Dark Legacy state, where the [[CriticalStatusBuff lower his health gets, the strong his attacks become]] (he can also force it by Guard Impacting enough times). This state will turn his standard attacks into Lethal Hits, and can be cashed in for a version of Nightmare's [[SphereOfDestruction Soul Wave]].

* OvershadowedByAwesome: Her storyline makes a point of how out of her depth she is, and she lacks a straight up win against any named character (and a couple of humiliating losses). It's worth remembering however that she still carves through supernatural mooks just fine, and being part of the cast likely puts her into the top five percentile worldwide. This was also true for gameplay as well, see BalanceBuff.

Boobs Of Steel has been disambiguated

* BoobsOfSteel: Sports one of the largest chests, and is quite possibly the most powerful female fighter on the roster short of Xianghua wielding Soul Calibur itself.

Bishonen is Definition-Only

* {{Bishonen}}: As well as {{Hunk}}; He's quite the pretty boy, but also fairly buff. It does take some muscle to lift a {{BFS}}, after all.

Rated M For Manly is about masculine works as a whole

* RatedMForManly: As always, Mitsurugi embodies this trope. Ditching the {{angst}} of the other characters and trades that for sheer asskicking.

* AsLongAsItSoundsForeign: His first name is a common German forename, but the surname "Schtauffen" is pure bogus. It literally means ‘stuff’ in Luxembourgish, and they were probably going for ‘Staufen’, which means “staunch” (strong, loyal) — a better fit.

* CharacterizationMarchesOn: As ''VI'' covers mainly ''SCI'' and parts of ''SCII'' Siegfried's arrogant {{Jerkass}} behavior from ''Blade'' is absent. He is also not a HeManWomanHater, which would have made his interactions with Sophitia very different. This is definitely a result of character development because these behaviors are present in Nightmare. presumably because that was Siegfried’s personality when he first found Soul Edge.

* AlternateIdentityAmnesia: Notably averted in that Siegfried remembers ''everything'' he did as Soul Edge's puppet, and hates himself for it despite not having been in total control of himself. [[spoiler:When he becomes Nightmare again at the end of his Soul Chronicle, this seems to be played straight as his soul and consciousness are trapped inside Astral Chaos alongside Soul Calibur.]]

Dewicked trope

* BareYourMidriff: Unsurprisingly, it's became tradition for Mi-na to show this in her outfits.

** It's also this compared to her last appearance, where her costume went in a more conservative direction compared to all of her costumes beforehand and barring some [[BareYourMidriff midriff]] wasn't really played for fanservice (a ''very'' remarkable reversal compared to every other returning female going further in ''IV''). Here, this costume is very much in the spirit of her prior appearances and may be her sexiest to date.
