Son of the Grim Reaper and meister to Liz and Patti. He is a very gifted technician whose only flaw is his crippling OCD, which manifests as an obsessive need to have everything be symmetrical. Hence, his naturally asymmetrical hairstyle is a source of great angst for him.

Dr. Franken Stein is a teacher at Shibusen and the most powerful technician to ever graduate from the school. Memorable for being a textbook MadScientist, albeit a heroic one. He was Spirit Albarn's first meister, until Spirit was driven off by Stein's obsession with dissecting anything and everything, including Spirit himself.

* TheHedonist: He drinks in every other chapter, He's lazy as sin, and he acts [[http://mangastream.com/read/soul_eater/76853218/9 touchy-feely with the teenage girl]] he's attempting to massacre.

* EnsambleDarkhorse: Say what you will about the guy, he's rather popular with the fandom.
