* CombatCueStaff: The Predazord's main weapon is the Lunar Staff, which can utilize Merrick's pool shark skills to it fullest.

* AwesomeButImpractical: Double Knuckle Mode was one of the powerful formations the Rangers had early on, thanks to the strength of the Bear Wildzords. But there was one big flaw, the power was too much for the Lion Wildzord to handle and one finisher caused it to tire out quickly. Once Cole got the Gorilla Wildzord and the Kongazord formation was an option, Double Knuckle Mode was retired.

** Predator Mode: '"Tornado Armadillo Spin'': With the Armadillo Wildzord, the Megazord tosses it like a bowling ball while performing the Tornado Spin.

* AnimalMecha: Like the Galactabeasts from ''Lost Galaxy'', the Wild Zords are sentient beasts. Most include:

* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler: In the finale, Master Org destroyed all the Wild Zords the Rangers collected, but they came back to life to help the Rangers defeat the former once and for all.]]

* MechaExpansionPack: For the first time in ''Power Rangers'' history, the Wild Zords can be interchangeable for different formations should one be unavailable or a certain formation be better against a certain Org.

The core five Rangers' first Megazord. It is comprised of their totem Megazords.

*** ''Soul Bird Cannon'': An upgraded finisher with the Soul Bird. An energy blast is fired from the mouth of the Soul Bird and comes from the mouths of all the Zords forming the Megazord, obliterating the Org.

** GenialGiraffe: The Giraffe Zprd.

* AdaptationalVillainy: Although Rasetsu did kill Tsuetsue, her and Yabaiba still remain on the side of evil afterwards, whereas Mandilok's murdering of Toxica traumatizes Jindrax so much that they both prompt a HeelFaceTurn after Jindrax successfully revives her.

* MeaningfulName: Her name is Arabic for "little mountain", which is a possible reference to her role as princess of the Animarium.

* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Rouki is not a NobleWolf in ''Gaoranger'', [[spoiler:at least after being split from Tsukumaro]]. It should be noted that the original Org Zen-Aku doesn't much exist as a character in Gaoranger. Instead, the "thousand-year evil" is a barely-sentient dark energy sealed in the mask that corrupted Merrick's counterpart into a wolflike Org and later took on that form during the ''Gaoranger'' version of "Unfinished Business." After Merrick's counterpart rejects it, it seeks a new host - JustAsPlanned by Nayzor's counterpart, who uses it to gain his SuperForm. In ''Power Rangers'', Zen-Aku is a real Org from the past who comes to care for his host and eventually learns from him. Furthermore their motives towards the Silver Ranger in their return episodes cement this status for Zen-Aku, as Rouki wanted to kill Shirogane for the hell of it; while Zen-Aku just wants to merge with Merrick again at all costs as he felt lonely and abandoned without his host.

* CombiningWeapon: The Nexus Blade, which is a combination of Retinax's axe, Nayzor's fan, and Mandilok's fork and knife. It essentially serves as an EvilCounterpart to the Wild Force Rangers' Jungle Sword.

* AdaptationalVillainy: His ''Gaoranger'' counterparts were nasty beings already, [[spoiler:but the addition of his backstory as a human and [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters willing turn to evil]] makes him even ''worse'' than them.]]
* AlasPoorVillain: Despite all he has done, [[spoiler:Cole refuses to kill him in revenge like he did his parents, despite Adler's protests and at the end visits his grave in the final episode hoping Dr. Adler found peace]]. Other than that however, it's unlikely anybody else will actually miss him after his death considering how much of an irredeemable monster he was
* ArchEnemy: While he's the enemy to all of the Wild Force Rangers, he has the most personal hate for Cole. [[spoiler:He was the one who killed Cole's parents out of a petty belief they "betrayed" him and would have killed Cole as a baby had his mother not hide him. While Cole doesn't share the animosity, he's forced to accept Adler is irredeemable and taking his life is the only means to stop him.]]
* AxCrazy: He is clearly unhinged and expresses it through destroying org statues in his rages as well as boasting to Cole on how he [[spoiler:killed Cole's parents]].

* BeyondRedemption: Despite what Cole and even Princess Shayla try, [[spoiler:Adler has thrown his humanity away, rejected any offer of redemption, and despises being forgiven. In the end, destroying him is the only way to end his terror.]] The irony is that several Orgs actually show far more redeeming qualities and humanity than he does.

* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler:At the end of "The Master's Last Stand", after being defeated by Cole and stripped of his powers, he was thrown off a cliff to his death by Mandilok. He then grew a horn, and upon returning some episodes later, showed that he was no longer pretending to be an Org]].
* CanonForeigner: [[spoiler:Viktor Adler has nothing remotely close to a ''Gaoranger'' counterpart and was created exclusively for the show while being given the role of various major Orgs of ''Gaoranger''.]]
* CompositeCharacter: He takes up the role of the Org Master in Gaoranger (who turned out to be a powerful but non-sapient figurehead), the three [[ArcVillain Highness Dukes]] in ''Gaoranger'' (who are all turned into secondary villains here) as well as that of [[spoiler:the Ultimate Orgs (Hyakkimaru and Senki) even merging them into being one and the same (whereas in the original both Ultimate Orgs were entirely different entities born of different sets of Orgs fusing into a single being). Likewise, he also takes up the role of Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa (who was stated to be the most powerful Org and leader of all Highness Dukes even if he died in his debut film and never appeared outside of it). And finally, his empowerment of Nayzor, Jindrax and Toxica means he inherits the role of the Thousand Year Evil that corrupted Merrick's ''Gaoranger'' counterpart Shirogane into Rouki, Zen-Aku's counterpart, in ''Gaoranger'']]
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: In almost every single way to [[Series/PowerRangersTimeForce Ransik]] - Ransik was turned evil because of an accident and being the victim of FantasticRacism due to said accident, but ultimately caring for his daughter Nadira, surrendering to the rangers [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone after almost killing her by accident]], [[spoiler: and even was able to become human and atone for his sins in this season during an attempted HeroicSacrifice]]. [[spoiler: Viktor Adler, on the other hand, started as a decent human but chose to become evil due to a perceived rejection by Cole's mother (who never knew his feelings for her), and he rejected the chance to redeem himself in turn]].
* CurbStompBattle: [[spoiler: Dishes out a chain of these in the finale. He easily defeats the Rangers while human sized and after growing into a giant he proceeds to destroy all of their zords with one swing each.]]

* DisneyVillainDeath: [[spoiler:Mandilok drops him off a cliff after he loses his powers. [[CameBackStrong Then he grows a horn and becomes a real Org]]. Counts also as a symbolical example, since the fall [[ThatManIsDead definitely killed]] [[WasOnceAMan Dr. Viktor Adler for good]].]]

* EntitledToHaveYou: [[spoiler:Felt that he was the one who truly deserved the affection of Cole's mother, to the point of swallowing the remains of Master Org and using his new powers to murder both her and Cole's father when she chose the latter instead.]]
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Failed to understand why [[spoiler:Cole refused to take revenge despite having every reason to end his life]].
* EvilCounterpart: To Merrick. [[spoiler: Both were humans who became Orgs but Merrick became an Org to save the world while Adler became an Org because of his jealousy and misanthropy.]]
* EvilFeelsGood: [[spoiler: He embraces the evils he commits once he becomes the new Master Org]].
* EvilIsPetty: [[spoiler:Once Dr. Adler swallowed the seeds, he murdered his former friends, tried to kill their baby, and has set out to destroy the human race because of jealousy]].

* FreudianExcuse: Subverted REAL HARD. [[spoiler: The woman who would eventually become Cole's mother choosing his future father over him, not getting the same credit for finding Animaria as the two, and resentment of the birth of their son, Dr. Adler chose to MURDER the parents after eating the org seeds in revenge.]] Rather than being sympathetic or redeemable, it only made him petty, as he chose to go down the path of evil. It also doesn't excuse destroying all of humanity or treating his Org minions like dirt.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: [[spoiler:He used to be a normal human being before becoming a threat to the entire planet.]]
* GreenEyedMonster: [[spoiler:His motivation to get revenge on Cole's parents was jealousy out of them getting what he felt he deserved.]]

* HateSink: [[spoiler:What makes him unique among most villains before him was that he ''used'' to be a normal human being. He had friends, a career, and the capacity to fall in love. However, when the woman he wanted to marry was already engaged and eventually had a baby, then the man she was engaged to stole the spotlight from him, he became hateful and started accusing his former friends of ruining his life and stealing credit for his work. He willfully ate the remains of Master Org, causing Master Org to possess him to murder them and attempt to murder their baby. Years later, he'd try to destroy all of nature and humanity, and even betray ''his own Orgs'', for extremely petty reasons.]]
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: [[spoiler:His first defeat is the result of Cole absorbing his own energy blast via his Battlizer and sending it right back at him.]]
* HumansAreTheRealMonsters: [[spoiler:He stands out as one of the cruelest villains in the franchise with nothing redeeming about him. It's also highlighted in this season in particular where Orgs like Jindrax, Toxica, and Zen-Aku demonstrate redeeming qualities while he doesn't. Especially given that all of them are supposed to be [[TheHeartless heartless demons]] yet he is a human with a heart that ''chose'' to be evil with no outside influence (and no, the ancient master org doesn't count, as it's only after he becomes a real Org) and never strays from that path ever even when others show him mercy and compassion and not even his past excuses his actions]].
* IfICantHaveYou: [[spoiler: Part of the reason Master Org murdered Cole's parents: he was in love with Cole's mother, who married Cole's father instead. He was convinced she was 'stolen' from him and had them both murdered upon becoming the new Master Org.]]
* {{Irony}}: Of all the ''Power Rangers'' villains, he simultaneously holds the record for destroying the most Zords [[spoiler: and the record having been defeated by the most Zords - he killed all of the Rangers' Zords, but not only did they come back, but lots more showed up, meaning that he was defeated by ''over 100'' Zords]].
* IveComeTooFar: [[spoiler:Said word for word when Princess Shayla reminds him of his former life and calls him by his old name. He rejects the idea of turning back, having come too far, and wouldn't go back even if he wanted to.]]
* TheJuggernaut: [[spoiler: His OneWingedAngel in the finale proved almost unstoppable. After easily defeating the Rangers while human sized he proceeded to lay waste to every Zord they sent after him. He's only defeated when the Zords are BackFromTheDead, along all of the dozens of other Wild Zords return.]]

** [[spoiler:The first came, appropriately enough, in the episode "The Master's Last Stand". With his Org powers nearly gone and Jindrax and Toxica having abandoned him, he decided to face the Rangers on his own, only to be soundly defeated by Cole]].
** [[spoiler:His second final stand was an extreme inversion in the finale, where, after completing his Org transformation, he singlehandedly nearly defeated the Rangers and took over the world]].
* LoveMakesYouEvil: [[spoiler:Loved Cole's mother, but Cole's father proposed before he could. He consumed the remains of Master Org, allowing him to murder them both.]]

* MisplacedRetribution: [[spoiler:So he holds his colleagues responsible for being rejected in both love and work and kills them both in response. Does he stop there? No. He tries killing Cole when he was a baby, betrayed the entirety of his kind, and abused the Orgs under his command when none of them had anything to do with his pain except that they exist.]] Another reason why he's petty rather than tragic.

* MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate: [[spoiler:Dr. Viktor Adler is a legitimate genius and has a doctorate. He is also a vile, omnicidal monster who wants to wipe out all human life. It's notable that he's always referred to by the heroes as Dr. Adler.]]

* OneManArmy: [[spoiler:Perhaps the biggest one in ''Power Rangers'' history, as following the completion of his transformation, he single-handedly destroyed all of the Rangers' Zords, stripped them of their powers, and nearly took over the world. [[LastVillainStand And all of this was after he had no more monsters or minions]]]].
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:In the end, absorbs the Org Heart and transforms into a near-unstoppable behemoth who singlehandedly ''kills'' [[CurbstompBattle all the Wild Zords and nearly wins]]. The only thing that stops him is all the Wild Zords coming BackFromTheDead]].
* OrcusOnHisThrone: [[spoiler:Justified at first, because he's initially only a transformed human with some powers, and wouldn't be much of a threat on his own. Then he goes OneWingedAngel]].
* OriginalGeneration: While there ''is'' an Org Master in the Japanese version, it was just a stone idol and not a character. Master Org is an original creation made for Wild Force, filling the role what became the General Orgs did in the original, though his costume was taken from an unrelated villain from a previous season: [[Series/GoseiSentaiDairanger the Gorma Emperor]]. [[spoiler:The TrueFinalBoss, Ultimate Org Senki, was changed into his OneWingedAngel form.]]
* RedemptionRejection: Shayla attempts to reason with him, [[spoiler:even using his real name and telling him Cole forgives him.]] He rejects this, proving once and for all, there's no ounce of good in him.
* TheResenter: [[spoiler:Dr. Adler and Mr. and Mrs. Evans held a press conference to announce that they were poised to prove the existence of Animaria, but he was shunned, and they got all the attention. This made him more jealous of them than he already was, and he was driven to swallow the seeds which would turn him into a monster.]]
* RevengeMyopia: [[spoiler: He claims that his revenge on Cole's parents was a rightful one, that they deserved it for their "betrayal", and that everything about it is his suffering. These claims ignore that the mother did not know his love for her, so she can't be blamed for choosing Cole's father. That and they remained friends and partners with him even after their marriage and birth to Cole. So in reality, it was not rightful, deserved, or even justified, except in his mind.]]
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: His backstory has him [[spoiler:murdering Cole's parents out of a perceived betrayal, which he called his "rightful revenge"]]. Toward the end of the season, he also engaged in this to make those who betrayed him pay, including his own Orgs.

* {{Sadist}}: [[spoiler:He admits to Cole he enjoyed every moment of murdering his parents. And that was just his idea of showing mercy. He decides to torture the rangers to death, promising to enjoy it even more.]]
* SelfServingMemory: [[spoiler:As flashbacks are shown, he tells Cole the story of how his parents betrayed him, how Cole's father stole the woman he loved and how they stole credit for his work. This could've been a somewhat understandable FreudianExcuse, if not for the flashbacks actually showing the viewer that the exact opposite is true and he's actually being petty. He may have been friends with them, but he had only assumed Cole's mother returned his feelings and never spoke to her over being more than friends and was going to propose to her right away without any indication they had so much as talked about anything outside their research. As such, his view of Cole's father stealing his love was him not realizing he was just a work friend to them. In addition, what he considers stealing credit was a reporter at their conference more interested in talking to them instead of him.]]
* TheSociopath: [[spoiler:He killed his former best friend for "stealing his love" and said love for not knowing his feelings, blaming them for everything rather than be remorseful about it. He then set out to destroy mankind, not even batting an eye to the well-being of his own Orgs]].
* ThatManIsDead: [[spoiler:When the captive Princess Shayla calls him "Dr. Adler", he gets furious and states that's not his name anymore. Given his previous DisneyVillainDeath, it counts on both literal and symbolical levels]].

* TraumaButton: Cole denouncing him as a coward in "Soul Searching" actually leaves Master Org quite shaken. Later in the season, we'd learn that [[spoiler:Adler never had the courage to express his love for Cole's mother, nor did he ever voice his frustrations over his belief that Cole's father had slighted him personally and professionally]], thus demonstrating why Cole's statement rattled him so much. For all of his SelfServingMemory and justifications for his RoaringRampageOfRevenge described above, even Master Org is aware on some level that his excuses and self-pity don't hold any water.

* WasOnceAMan: [[spoiler:Early on, subverted, while he has some of Master Org's powers and physique he's still very much mostly human. But then he grew a horn after Mandilok seemingly killed him. By then he was no longer faking it and had truly become the Master Org, not just a fake.]]
* WeUsedToBeFriends: [[spoiler:Dr. Adler used to be good friends with Cole's birth parents and fell for Cole's mother. He wanted to propose to her, but Cole's father beat him to it. Neither was aware of his feelings for her or that he grew to hate them for what he perceived as stealing his love and his work long before he found those seeds.]]

* WouldHurtAChild: [[spoiler:Master Org tried to kill Cole when he was a baby, but Cole's mother hid him away from him, he had absolutely no remorse in doing so and given his willingness to destroy all lifeforms for his own ego it's clear that he would kill children if he feels like it.]]

The original Master Org who appeared and fell 3,000 years ago. His defeat signaled the end of the first Human-Org War, and his legacy lead to severe repercussions for the entire series[[spoiler:, as a particular human took on his name and identity.]]

* AdaptationExpansion: Hyakkimaru in ''Gaoranger'' had a very minor yet pivotal role in the plot, here the [[spoiler:original]] Master Org gets more than just flashback appearances.
* AscendedExtra: Hyakkimaru in ''Gaoranger'' appeared solely in flashbacks and was fully long dead by the present time not to mention he was more of a brute enforcer despite being the leader, here Master Org's power survived his destruction and [[spoiler:was taken by Viktor Adler who allowed the original Master Org to return in some capacity in the final arc.]]

But after Adler is killed by Mandilok, he grows a real horn, then kills Mandilok in revenge. There is some implication that the original Master Org has been influencing him from the very beginning. How much of his influence he has is unknown, though Adler's evil deeds are still his own.]]
