Being immortal, she's been existing ''long'' before any of her friends have, but doesn't look old at all. Even Kagura [[LampshadeHanging points this out]]. Her immortality is the [[WhoWantsToLiveForever source of much angst]], [[spoiler:though she is eventually told that since the meat she ate came from a common mermaid, her life has been extended, but she ''will'' die eventually.]]

* WhoWantsToLiveForever: She tells Seimei that she wants him to end her immortal life. According to Hōōka, her soul has almost completely frozen over, though a small amount of fire in her heart is beginning to stir.
