** In Disgaea 7, he can also use Jumbify. As expected with Baal's insane difficulty, his Jumbility enacts an InstantWinCondition... for him.

* DemotedToExtra: Kinda. Starting with ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 4| A Promise Unforgotten}}'', he became a {{DLC}} Superboss, added in the final patch for each game. To make up for this, he has become ''far'' more difficult than his previous appearances.

To make up for this, he has become ''far'' more difficult than his previous appearances. This wouldn't end until Disgaea 6 where he was included as a standard postgame challenge again.

** In Disgaea 7, if he jumbifies, you automatically lose the fight. He is so powerful that becoming any bigger just destroys everything.

One is an indented example and the other is speculating. Removing both

** RealityWarper: [[spoiler:Apparently, she goes so crazy by the postgame of ''VideoGame/Disgaea4APromiseUnforgotten'' that her one wish starts ''distorting reality''!]]
** Her behavior is quite rational in ''Disgaea 5'', and it's her clones (produced by spending too much time on a particular Netherworld) that are insane. However, it's possible / widely assumed that [[spoiler:''5'' is a prequel, so this may simply be before her SanitySlippage, or every Asagi encountered in the previous games was one of her insane clones.]]

Dewicking Bonus Boss

The intended heroine of Nippon Ichi's next game following ''VideoGame/MakaiKingdom'', Asagi's game was dropped after Zetta defeated her and she has become a vagrant BonusBoss in all Creator/NipponIchi games since, wandering from game to game in the attempt of plugging her own disowned game or trying to commit hostile takeovers to put herself in the main character spot.

* BonusBoss: She has appeared in nearly every NIS game since her initial appearance.

* TookALevelInBadass: When it looked like Pringer X was going to phase him out as the premier BonusBoss, he returns in ''Disgaea 4'' with a vengeance, now far outstripping Pringer X in power and packing Evilities that make killing him an outright marathon. ''Disgaea D2'' makes his stats even more insane, gives him a version of Pringer X's evility Special Skill Solved, along with a number of other nasty tricks.

* BonusBoss:
** Nippon Ichi's most common recurring BonusBoss. Challenging him usually requires passing a difficult to pass bill in the Dark Assembly, though later ''Disgaea'' games has his battle patched in.
** In ''Disgaea 5'', [[spoiler:he can appear in the "this isn't a movie" Mystery Room along with [[VideoGame/ZettaiHeroProject Proto Darkdeath]] in place of the usual generic monsters if you're on a high enough Item World floor]].

* DemotedToExtra: Kinda. Starting with ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 4| A Promise Unforgotten}}'', he became a {{DLC}} BonusBoss, added in the final patch for each game. To make up for this, he has become ''far'' more difficult than his previous appearances.

* SNKBoss: Turns into this by ''Disgaea D2''. Not only is he ''FAR'' more powerful than any of his previous appearances, his items can't be stolen and he teleports so he never loses the stationary attack bonus over the very long fight. He has six brutal Evilities he switches out throughout the fight, and always has his own version of Pringer X's Special Skill Solved. Starting, he will be able to automatically attack any of your characters whenever they hit the field. After that, he will use one that inflicts all status effects on your characters. Then he switches to having a 50% evasion rate. Then he switches to summoning two mini-clones of himself with the same movement he does, so if you don't kill them, they start to inflict a lot of damage. Then he starts to do automatic damage to your characters every turn. Finally, he switches to an Evility that destroys your base panel, meaning once he uses it, you can't bring anything else out or switch out units. It also heals him for 20 percent of his HP and SP every turn. In older Disgaea games, enough level grinding allowed for even a BonusBoss to be beaten easily, but not anymore.
