** Season 2 [[DeconstructedTrope deconstructs the reality of Arin having strength and power he cannot control]]. With the mounting pressure of the looming threat Ras poses, Arin's inability to pick up the Rising Dragon Technique, which leads him to injuring Egalt, weighs heavily on Arin's mind, not to mention a constant fear of inferiority due to a lack of an Elemental Power. The insecurities he already had during Season 1 only become amplified with the EndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt pressures introduced in Season 2, especially when [[spoiler:he ends up subject to a BRUTAL CurbStompBattle by Ras' hands in the ninth episode]]. It's only after [[spoiler:Sora secretly assists him in saving Nya by making it seem like he activated his obejct Spinjitzu in attacking Ras]] that he starts to perk up a good bit more, especially after Lloyd praises him for it.

A rather confident young girl, Sora had lived most of her life in the Imperium, having originally gone by the name of Ana. However, after discovering the dark true nature of Imperium, Sora took The Merge as an opportunity to escape her old life and start a new one, eventually running into Arin and becoming fast friends with him. When a chance encounter with Riyu and the Imperium occurs, Sora finds herself training with Lloyd alongside Arin to become a Ninja and also finds herself on the path to facing her old life in the Imperium...

The worst case of this happened with his training Egalt, where his lack of aim while using Spinjitzu left the Dragon Master blind in one eye and earned Arin a swift Fang demotion.

After growing up in The Crossroads alongside his new best friend Sora, a chance encounter with the legendary Green Ninja Lloyd has put Arin on the path to becoming a Ninja like he had dreamed of.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: Her life in Imperium wasn't the best for Sora, as she has AbusiveParents who neglected her for her lack of interests until they did with her hard-light invention that qualified her as a 1st place winner and is able to meet Dr. [=LaRow=] and work for her. With Sora witnessing the abuse of dragons in the lab, however, her parents were ''very'' disappointed in her for standing up to the doctor for animal cruelty connected to Imperium, which costed everything she's highly passionate for. This was before The Merge that caused her to move into the Crossroads to start her new life, where she first met her best friend Arin.

* HeroismMotiveSpeech: As a last minute act before Imperium turned against Beatrix, Sora does a broadcast about how she was despised, shunned and disowned for discovering the truth. With the people now knowing the truth, Sora finishes her speech with, "We are all dragons!"

A girl who grew up being raised by both a dragon, Heatwave and a Caregiver bot and the Elemental Master of Heat. She and Heatwave would join the heroes after Lloyd freed them from imprisonment by the Imperium.

* CharacterDevelopment: She initially scoffs at the idea of being taught by Kai, but as Season 1 goes on, warms up to Kai and starts more actively trying to open up to being taught by him. She also seems to be trying to work past her worst habits after being on the other side of them (such as being subject to a mean prank by the Lava-tites, who did it to [[ATasteOfTheirOwnMedicine get even]] with likely ''years'' of vandalism, and consequently refuse to help the Ninja as a result).

* LeeroyJenkins: She is just as, if not, even more impulsive than Kai is.

* ThePrankster: Wyldfyre likes to play pranks, especially her fire handshake prank. However, many of these ended up as a case of PrankGoneTooFar as many of these pranks would heavily upset those she targeted, giving her a very bad reputation across a couple of lands. Kai has to point out her pranks are just flat out bullying with how they always end up hurting people.

* BadassAdorable: Just a tiny, adorable looking baby dragon... who managed to punch his way out of the Imperium's cell on his own.

* PetDressUp: Using Lloyd's meditation carpet, a basket and pair of socks for the Crossroads Carnival.
* SuperEmpowering: Riyu's species is capable of drastically amplifying the elemental power in a target, with Riyu in particular bringing out Sora's {{Technopath}} element.

* IGotBigger: Riyu is shown to be taller in "The Blood Moon", helping a young girl escape a burning building, helping Kai and Wyldfyre with trying to get Fugi-Dove and a cat out of a tree, and later dancing with the rookie ninja.

* AllThereInTheManual: Her status as the Elemental Master of Heat is only known in supplementary material, not being mentioned in the show as of yet.

* DramaticIrony: The characters talk about how Wyldfyre has the same Fire powers as Kai. Even though [[AllThereInTheManual supplementary material reveals that her power is actually Heat]]. Something the heroes don't know of yet.

* RaisedByWolves: Or rather Raised by ''Dragons'', with Heatwave having looked after her ever since she was a baby, having been in some sort of ship crash with a Caregiver bot protecting her prior to meeting the dragon, with no sign of her parents around.

His unique ability even allows him to apply Spinjitzu to objects, the result of which is incredibly powerful, such as cutting through the Destiny's Bounty's engine or [[spoiler:Beatrix's mech, which was established to be ''[[NoSell immune]]'' to Elemental Powers.]]
