Tentou is the son of the current Daimyou of the fire country. A kid who thinks he can own, buy and do everything he likes because he's the son of the most important man of the Fire Country. Boruto is given the mission of being his body guard, to the latter's annoyance.

* AdultFear: He's kidnapped by a cannibal shinobi, much to his father's horror.
* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: After being captured, he attempts to kill himself with a shuriken to prevent himself from being used as ransom, though he's pinned down before that can happen.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Wants his father to notice him, which causes Boruto to connect with him and teach him ninja techniques.
* ChekhovsSkill: Boruto teaches him how to throw a shuriken during the bodyguard mission. Tentou later uses a shuriken to save Boruto from Shojoji.
* DistressedDude: In chapter 13, he's kidnapped by Shojoji to be used as ransom.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Makes some insensitive comments towards Boruto like laughing at his Sexy Jutsu attempt, but didn't mean anything bad by it.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney: When he wants to buy Naruto Collectible Cards, he'd rather buy the store than not getting the cards he wants.

!New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

The self-proclaimed Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were formed by Shizuma Hoshigaki, the group's main objective was to start a coup d'état in Kirigakure to overthrow the Sixth Mizukage and replace him with Kagura Karatachi, as well as return the village to the era of the "Bloody Mist". Ultimately, the rogue group was defeated and their rebellion stopped before it could actually begin, being written off as "just a scuffle among kids". Afterwards, the group's original members were imprisoned in a correction center to undergo rehabilitation.

* ArcVillain: As the group that Shizuma is leading, they also count as the villains of the Field Trip Arc.
* JapaneseDelinquents: They aren't too far removed from a band of incredibly powerful delinquents.

Does he really think he and six other inexperienced brats are going to be able to take on the world in war? Does he think he can face ''Naruto's'' '''wrath''' once the Hokage learns who murdered his son? Does he really think he can [[spoiler:wield the Samehada in the same vein as ''Kisame''?]]
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He seems to have a genuine soft spot for Kagura, and says he has watched over him to protect him for years. [[spoiler: Later revealed to be just another manipulation: he cares for ''no one'' save himself.]]
* FauxAffablyEvil: Seems nice enough when we first see him, getting his underling Hassaku to stop attacking attacking Boruto and his friends. Like his clansman Kisame, he's also unfailingly polite, even to enemies, and insists on proper honorifics being used at all times. Under that, he's a dangerous psychotic murderer with no care for anyone or anything save his own amusement.
* ForTheEvulz: Why does he want a war so bad? "It's fun! Why else?"
* FusionDance: [[spoiler:Forced by the sentient Samehada blade to merge together when Shizuma proves to be too "weak". While this powers him up, Shizuma loses all reasoning in his new form. Boruto and Kagura still manage to defeat him and force the two apart.]]
* GoodThingYouCanHeal: Samehada absorbs the chakra from his enemies and heals its wielder of any wounds they may suffer, making it nearly impossible to defeat him unless one can separate the sword from the swordsman.
* HateSink: Nothing about this guy is redeemable. ''Nothing''. In-universe, Boruto considers him a piece of crap for trying to manipulate Kagura and [[BloodKnight Suigetsu]] just considers him an "immature brat" who knows nothing about the horrors of war. Out-universe, the fandom hates his existence not only for the reasons above but for actually thinking he could get away with his goals.

* JustLikeRobinHood: He's entirely convinced that the Byakuya Gang is stealing to help the impoverished, and as such does the same. We see he even steals a jewel from the Leaf so a neighboring town can afford to fix their water pump.
* INeverSaidItWasPoison: He slips up and mentions Katasuke's research lab in a conversation. Shikadai notes that no normal person should be able to have an idea about what's in the lab...unless, of course, they scoped it out beforehand.
* MalevolentMaskedMan: Although him being under a genjutsu since a tender age puts the his level of malevolency in question.
* OddFriendship: With Shikadai, considering that they're on opposite sides of the Byakuya conflict but still hung out with each other in secret.

Leader of the Mujani bandits, Shojoji is a mysterious individual that shows up in the Boruto series. He kipnaps Tentou, the Fire Daimyou's son in exchange for a ransom. When Boruto comes to save him, he end up fighting Boruto and almost kill him, if not for Sarada and Mitsuki coming to the rescue.

* {{Acrofatic}}: Despite his obesity, he can SpeedBlitz Boruto.
* BrainFood: How his powers works. He must eat the live brain of a shinobi to be able to copy his techniques and appearance.
* CounterAttack: His Wind of the Count Shield works like this. It returns techniques to their user.
* DidntSeeThatComing: Expected all of Boruto's attacks and countered them. He only gets hit when Tentou attacks him, not expecting him to know how to throw a Shuriken.
* ExtremeOmnivore: The "Can Eat Anything" variety. There's nothing he won't eat, including his own kind. He also reasons that humans could adapt to eat whatever they want and most just chose not to eat people, which is [[TheUnfettered really]] disturbing. And to accommodate his appetite, Shojoji can open his jaw VERY wide to engulf his meals.
* FatBastard: His true form is that of a fat ugly man.
* ImAHumanitarian: His cannibalistic jutsu is bad enough, but what makes him truly repulsive is he ''enjoys'' eating people.
* KillAndReplace: While most shinobi can do this with the transformation technique, Shojoji takes it a step further by gaining the memories of the people he eats, allowing him to make his disguises near-perfect.
* OhCrap:
** Isn't impressed at all by Sai & Ibiki. Starts really getting scared when Sasuke comes to talk to him personally.
** The moment he saw the members of Kara, he knew they were dangerous and bolted immediately.

The group is made up of "Inners" and "Outers", with each of the Inners being in charge of a region. Each Inner bear a facial tattoo of a Roman numeral and shroud themselves with black cloaks. Outers are people who assist Kara from the [[IncrediblyLamePun outside]] to complete missions ordered by the Inners.

The organisation has accumulated a great deal of wealth and, in keeping with the times, makes use of Scientific Ninja Tools to combat their foes.

* BigBad: The group as a whole are the main antagonists in this series, conducting experiments that would make past-Orochimaru proud and working to fulfill a grand ambition for the world at large. They will stop at nothing to get what they want. ''Nothing''.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: The Inners and Outers rarely, if at all, demonstrate any actual camaraderie towards one another. One of the Inners even murders another Inner for simply annoying him. Outers are considered expendable if they can't fulfill their mission.
* YouAreNumber6: All the Inner members have a Roman Numeral tattooed on their face, even Kawaki, who hates the organization. What this means has yet to be revealed.

* BodyHorror: Kawaki is able to shape shift his right arm into stabbing weapons (such as a sword or a spear) or launch them from himself as projectiles (throwing knives). His arm goes back to normal every time. Still doesn't make it any less creepy.

* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Downplayed due to Kawaki's nasty attitude but when Boruto confronts him about [[spoiler:accidentally breaking Himawari's vase which was a gift to her mother, and seeing Himawari's sad expression, Kawaki actually apologizes.]]
* MulticoloredHair: Two tones of hair for him: black and blond.
* {{Nanomachines}}: Kawaki's body has been modified with nanomachines, giving him incredible powers

He interrupts the Chunnin Exams in order to capture Naruto, or more specifically, what's sealed inside of Naruto.

* AdaptationalBadass: He is a more dangerous of a foe in the ''Boruto'' anime than he is in the movie. In the movie, once he transforms and fights Naruto and Sasuke, the two almost completely wipe the floor with him with minimal difficulty, but allow Boruto to step up to fight due to them both being exhausted. In the anime, he is much more capable, able to actually fight back very well against the two, and after they unleash their strongest attacks on him, he gets back up and proceeds to fight them and the other Kage before being defeated by Boruto. Also, Boruto in the movie was able to easily kill him using his special Rasengan with a boost from Naruto. In the anime, Boruto has to actually fight Momoshiki to leave an opening to hit him, and when he does, Momoshiki counters with a Rasengan he absorbed from Katatsuke's shinobi gauntlet.
* AxCrazy: He keeps it sealed up usually, but he positively ''drools'' at killing innocents and wanton destruction.

* BigBad: The group as a whole are the main antagonists in this series, conducting experiments that would make past-Orochimaru proud and working to fulfill a grand ambition for the world at large. They will stop at nothing to get what they want. ''Nothing''.

He interrupts the Chunnin Exams in order to capture Naruto, or more specifically, what's sealed inside of Naruto.

* AdaptationalBadass: He is a more dangerous of a foe in the ''Boruto'' anime than he is in the movie. In the movie, once he transforms and fights Naruto and Sasuke, the two almost completely wipe the floor with him with minimal difficulty, but allow Boruto to step up to fight due to them both being exhausted. In the anime, he is much more capable, able to actually fight back very well against the two, and after they unleash their strongest attacks on him, he gets back up and proceeds to fight them and the other Kage before being defeated by Boruto. In the anime, Boruto has to actually fight Momoshiki to leave an opening to hit him, and when he does, Momoshiki counters with a Rasengan he absorbed from Katatsuke's shinobi gauntlet.

Arrogant, sadistic and psychotic, Momoshiki will stop at nothing to accomplish his goals and considers anyone other than himself to be insignificant. He interrupts the Chunnin Exams in order to capture Naruto, or more specifically, what's sealed inside of Naruto.

* AdaptationalBadass: He is a more dangerous of a foe in the ''Boruto'' anime than he is in the movie. In the movie, once he transforms and fights Naruto and Sasuke, the two almost completely wipe the floor with him with minimal difficulty, but allow Boruto to step up to fight due to them both being exhausted. In the anime, he is much more capable, able to actually fight back very well against the two, and after they unleash their strongest attacks on him, he gets back up and proceeds to fight them and the other Kage before being defeated by Boruto. Also, Boruto in the movie was able to easily kill him using his special Rasengan with a boost from Naruto. In the anime, Boruto has to actually fight Momoshiki to leave an opening to hit him, and when he does, Momoshiki counters with a Rasengan he absorbed from Katatsuke's shinobi gauntlet.
* AxCrazy: He keeps it sealed up usually, but he positively ''drools'' at killing innocents and wanton destruction.

* BodyHorror: His muscles get torn up from breaking out of the Kages' binding jutsu. Despite that, he still has enough strength to chop down his planet's Shinju tree.

Ultimately, the rogue group was defeated and their rebellion stopped before it could actually begin, being written off as "just a scuffle among kids". Afterwards, the group's original members were imprisoned in a correction center to undergo rehabilitation.

Leader of the Mujani bandits, Shojoji is a mysterious individual that shows up in the Boruto series. He kipnaps Tentou, the Fire Daimyou's son in exchange for a ransom. When Boruto comes to save him, he end up fighting Boruto and almost kill him, if not for Sarada and Mitsuki coming to the rescue.

* BrainFood: How his powers works. He must eat the live brain of a shinobi to be able to copy his techniques and appearance.

During the flashback, its revealed that Kawaki was "rescued" from Kara's clutches and was brought to Konoha to live with the Uzumaki family, thus explaining Boruto's familiarity with the guy.
