* ChildSoldiers: She never had [[CloningBlues much of a childhood]], though.

* CloningBlues: Despite being Elpeo Ple clones, Ple-2 and all her sisters have a very distinct personality. While Ple appears to be cheerful, hyper-active, loud and energetic, Ple-2 and her sisters appear to be cold, serious, and aggressive. While from the power Ple-2 and her sisters are equal but still able to defeat Ple and the other pure-Newtype, Ple-2 and her sisters proved to be so unstable and Ple still able to manage herself stable and focused like normal Newtype

* CulturedWarrior: Tries to project this image, buying Leina fancy clothes, teaching her proper ettiquette and how to play the violin and the piano, but it's undermined by his childishness and the fact that he's creeping on a twelve-year-old.

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: His attempt at [[spoiler:a coup against Haman]] is essentially what saves [[spoiler:the EF]].

* ParentalSubstitute: To [[spoiler:the Ple's. He makes a pretty awful one.]] Also to Leina, while she's under his care; he seems to be raising her as a daughter, with his [[GoGoEnslavement dressing her up in fancy clothes]], having her learn the piano, and presenting her to the other Neo Zeon elite.

* NippleAndDimed: When she's naked in storage.

* TeensAreShort: His lack of height is the biggest indicator that he's younger than the average Gundam protagonist, though not by much.

* StrongFamilyResemblance: Resembles Mineva Zabi quite a bit due to [[spoiler:technically being her cousin, as she was partially created from Gihren Zabi's DNA]].

* AdaptationalVillainy: He was bad in the anime, but the manga adds a whole new list of crimes to his rapsheet, while ommiting his good points.

* ApocalypseHitler: [[spoiler:He's a clone (maybe) of Gihren Zabi, the UC's equivalent of Hitler, and he manages to make an already horrific war worse by adding a civil war element and armies of clones to it. Justified as he was given power by Haman and then used that to gain even more]].

* CloningBlues: [[spoiler:Not only did he clone Ple, he himself may be a test tube baby with the DNA of Gihren Zabi in his blood]].
* ClonesArePeopleToo: [[spoiler:He and Gihren have the same charisma, evil, and manipulative ability, but the similarities stop there]].

* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: If you buy that her [[AVillainNamedKhan last name should be Khan]]. She also shares a name with [[BiblicalBadGuy Haman of the Book of Esther]], who tried to talk a Persian king into massacring the Jews.

** In a side manga, he fights against the [[Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam Zanscare forces]] in his outdated ZZ Gundam (which at that point is older than the MechaMooks by at least 60 years). The ZZ, now nicknamed the Gump, is already missing more than half of its original parts and cobbled with so many repaired parts it has a freakin' peg leg. He's also about 80 years old at that point and still ''kicks ass''.

* BookDumb: Not a brilliant student. Still very smart.

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Being the third protagonist in the Universal Century timeline, Judau has some contrasting characteristics to his two predecessors. Unlike Amuro and Kamille, Judau is actually far more personable, having a far easier time fitting in with his peers. Also, while Judau is a newtype, he also has a considerably harder time adjusting to piloting a Gundam.

* IdiotHero: Has some elements of this.

* MightyGlacier: After the Enhanced ZZ receives it's final upgrade to ''Full Armor ZZ'', turning it into a Mobile Suit-sized flying fortress, but reducing its speed and costing it the ability to separate into its various components.
* PsychicPowers: Like Amuro and Kamille before him, Judau is a top tier Newtype, which allows him to pull off most of the stunts he gets away with. Yet, unlike Amuro and Kamille, Judau's New Type powers are in a class of its own, which caused actual harm without the need of any enhancements or accessories (such as the Psychoframe). Haman Karn, who frightened both Kamille and Scirocco, matched Char in terms of prowess and even beaten the latter in a duel, was absolutely terrified when Judau unleashed his New Type powers on her.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After all is said and done, Judau packs up and heads to the Jupiter colonies. Fed up with the bullshit going on around Earth and not wanting to be a part of the madness there anymore, he set off to start a new more peaceful life for himself, his sister and Roux. The Expanded Universe reveals he would later do it again -- [[spoiler: in his old age he would form a secret community of New types and leave the Sol system entirely for Proxima Centauri, hoping to make a fresh start.]]

* SociopathicHero: Ple is almost completely amoral, due to Glemmy's utter failure to raise her properly. She's only on the Gundam Team because she loves Judau.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Her full name is pronounced "Elpy Pull/Erupi Puru", which is meant as a homophone for "El People"[[labelnote:*]]Commonly interpreted as "L. People", in reference to a magazine called ''Lemon People''.[[/labelnote]]. Since neither half of the word "people" is phonetic, the official romanization "Elpeo Ple" is very unintuitive, and many English fans write her common name as "Puru".

Most likely he fights in the war to completely destroy your Mobile Suit no matter if you are inside the machine or not, so if you can't escape and don't want to die in the fight, it's better for you to eject from the cockpit or surrender.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Chara has a habit of going into manic states, particularly whenever she is piloting a Mobile Suit. She also has a short attention span and at times display Short-term memory loss.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: After their first few encounters with the Nahel Argama they just kind of disappear. Three Jamru Fins are seen mobilizing under Mashmyre when the civil war breaks out, but that cameo is the last we see of them.

* PraetorianGuard: The pair are Zeon elites often flanking Chara with their identical looking mobile suits.

* IllGirl: When they enter the Tigerbaum colony, the effort needed to form a Newtype signal blocking field to prevent Judau from going apeshit on Haman Karn is affecting both of them negatively, particularly Rasara. [[spoiler:This being Gundam, it doesn't end well.]]
