Since the Cavendish legacy was built on helping anyone in need, including enemies, Diana more than proved her worth, even earning the approval of Beatrix, founder of the Cavendish family and one of the Nine Olde Witches, despite not formally earning the right to become the head of the household. Humbled, Daryl concedes that Diana is truly the deserving heir and ends her scheming.
