I spoke with Booplesnoot over PM and got the go-ahead to reinstate Raptor Attack, albeit with further modifications to ensure that it meets the intended trope definition. I also touched up the Terror Dactyl example for similar reasons.

%%* RaptorAttack: Exaggerated. The Raptor is depicted as a vicious featherless theropod and is much larger than any real-life ''Velociraptor'' (even bigger than a ''Utahraptor''), being at least three times as tall as a human minifigure. Strangely, unlike the popular ''Velociraptor'' stereotype, these Raptors lack any obvious sickle claws.

The Raptor is depicted as a vicious featherless theropod and is much larger than any real-life ''Velociraptor'' (even bigger than a ''Utahraptor''), being at least three times as tall as a human minifigure. It's clearly intended to evoke the famous ''Franchise/JurassicPark'' films' ''Velociraptor'' imagery instead of what's scientifically accurate, but this is an especially extreme example of the trope for the sake of creating a scary PrehistoricMonster. Strangely, unlike the popular ''Velociraptor'' stereotype, these Raptors lack any obvious sickle claws.

Err, hang on... checking the history of this (Characters) page and the main (Toys) page, I can't see who originally added Raptor Attack, but I'm definitely the one who wrote the "vicious featherless theropod" writeup when the trope was moved to this page. To avoid an edit war, I'm blanking out this example until I can confirm that it's okay to re-add.

I take this back; the Dino Attack Raptor is apparently even bigger than an Allosaurus, which is only about twice as tall as a human.

The head crests and spiked tail are present on all three named species, not just the Raptor, so this is better suited for the "As a whole" entry (where I've put it under a more fitting trope, Artistic License Paleontology). Based on the description (and Playing With page) for Raptor Attack, the Raptor still qualifies due to being a (very) scientificially inaccurate portrayal of Velociraptor, sickle claws or not.

* ArtisticLicensePaleontology: They don't look much like the real dinosaurs they're based upon, possessing inaccurate traits such as ''Ceratosaur''-like horns and spiked tails, to the point where they might as well be InformedSpecies. Of course, this is excused in-story by the dinosaurs being mutants instead of natural specimens.

* EvilIsBigger: These evil mutant dinosaurs are not only bigger than the heroic humans, but also much bigger than their natural counterparts - both in real life and in other LEGO themes with natural dinosaurs (such as ''Toys/LEGOAdventurers'', ''Toys/LEGOStudios'', and ''Toys/LEGODino'').

* PrehistoricMonster: ''Dino Attack'' is the first [[Toys/LEGOThemes LEGO line]] to cast the dinosaurs as the villains (the earlier ''Toys/LEGOAdventurers'' Dino Island and ''LEGO Dinosaurs'' lines cast them as neutral creatures).
