* NotSoStoic: It says a lot in Episode 17 that we get see her we see her visibly ''enraged'', when she [[spoiler:stabs Ragyo]]. To say nothing about in Episode 24, after seeing Ryuko falling from orbit after [[spoiler:Senketsu's sacrifice]], she runs at breakneck speed and screams at the top of her lungs to catch [[spoiler:her younger sister]].

** It really shows just how much strain Junketsu puts on Satsuki in episode 16. Satsuki who up until this point was always confident, grim-faced and absolutely unwavering looks like a lost, hurt little girl for a moment after taking Junketsu off.

Though her armies are forced to withdraw from the Kansai region thanks to Ryuko's efforts, she uses the duel as a distraction for Jakuzure to locate and destroy the hidden Nudist Beach command center. The destruction of either location pleases her. Her enemies are left in a significantly weaker position, and the respite is much more beneficial for her to regroup and rebuild.
