* CanonForeigner: Was a character created specifically for the first movie, but ended up being introduced in the comics, playing the same role.

* HeroesWantRedheads: She's the focus of Dave's fantasies.

* HateSink: She is the most dislikable character in the film, openly tormenting Mindy for no reason other than amusement. To say her comeuppance was satisfying is putting it lightly.

** He really does care about his family, though in the second film he has developed a hatred for his mother, but than again it was only because [[spoiler: she was in denial about her husband's death and refused to take revenge.]] Javier gets included into this trope after he's introduced.
** Also {{downplayed|Trope}} in regards to Kick-Ass in the first film, as it seems that Chris thinks of him as a friend. That won't stop him from wanting Kick-Ass dead in the second film though.

* OnlyInItForTheMoney: Subverted. Though it's the reason why most people join The Toxic Mega Cunts in the beginning, they all have way too much fun doing it to say it's true. Mother Russia gets paid ten times more than the others ($50,000 a week plus expenses) but she certainly earns it.
* PsychoForHire: The reason they're a group is because their leader realizes that in combat he simply isn't up for the challenge.
