Added DiffLines:

* BadGuysDoTheDirtyWork: While Azu's StupidEvil tendencies made her an ineffective villain in the long term, Lyon undoubtedly did the world a favor by killing her.

Added DiffLines:

* Deconstruction: Lyon is basically a one-man deconstructer of the entire plot and setting of Zero-One. Most of the plot of his film is him picking apart the holes in the logic of all the other characters and exploiting loose ends they failed to tie up.

Added DiffLines:

* LargeHam: Every line he utters is laced with confidence and charisma.

Added DiffLines:

* VirtuousCharacterCopy: He's no hero, but he has many more admirable qualities than Gai Amatsu.
** Gai was an arrogant, smug control freak for most of Zero-One. Lyon, if nothing else, acts cordial with everyone he speaks to and refrains from the KickTheDog behavior Gai engaged in.
** Gai was ultimately exposed as a hypocrite who didn't believe the pro-human rhetoric he espoused and only exploited it for profit. Lyon holds genuine pro-human viewpoints and part of the motive behind his plan is to have his unfeeling Solds replace human soldiers, minimizing the human cost of war.
** Gai corrupted the Ark with malice and exploited it and [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] for his own ends. Lyon outright rejects Azu's influence and has her killed, finding her malice to be too StupidEvil to be effective and favoring justice instead.

A mysterious AI that came out from Gai Amatsu's body after the latter was infected by the Bugster Virus.\\\
For his character page in his home series, go here.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Essentially goes toe to toe with Cronus as Genm Level 2 in this mini-series. In Ex-Aid canon, he wasn't able to really pose a serious threat to his father until he invented God Maximum Mighty X.
* AnimeHair: As usual in his home series, Musou Gemn's helmet has some dreadlocks on it, some colored white to match an appearance of a certain one-winged angel.
* BackFromTheDead: Thanks to the Ark's actions during Zero-One, Kuroto was able to revive himself once more via the Bugster Virus, this time using Gai as his host.
* DiscardAndDraw: Initially upon revival he's lost all the various power ups he created for himself throughout Ex Aid like Dangerous Zombie and God Gamer and was reduced to using Genm level 2 again, something that he hadn't had to use since the first quarter of that show although Gai's weakeness means he can defeat Thouser with it anyway. But then he gains Genm Musou and is back to being a high powered Rider.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He reconciles with his father at the end of the first Genms special. In the second one, he's even shown to carry around a framed picture of Masamune.
* EvilCounterpart: The Gemn Musou Gashat was designed to be an evil copy towards Hyper Muteki, with Gemn's TransformationSequence almost mirroring it to boot and even resembles a dark version of Muteki Gamer.
* EvilVersusEvil: The Genms -The Presidents special sees him fighting his equally megalomaniacal father, though by the end they both reconcile.
* FinishingMove:
** Genm Critical Finale: Activating Pause, Genm launches a fierce barrage of blows, striking his enemy from all sides at speeds resembling teleportation. After the final blow is dealt, Genm has time Restart, causing his opponent to receive every single blow in an instant.
* HackAndSlash: Gemn Musou, as implied by the title, is based upon the sub-genre of Musou games, named after Creator/KoeiTecmo's Japanese-based title for most of their game, notably VideoGame/DynastyWarriors.
* OverlordJr: After reconciling with Masamune, Kuroto embraces his status as this and decides to carry on his father's memory, even keeping a framed photo of Masamune with him.
* SkewedPriorities: Even after Rin tells him of the threat Zein poses, Kuroto still only cares about reviving Genm Corp.
* SoLastSeason: Gemn Level 2 could beat the Game Illness weakened Thouser, but lost to Cronus and was no match for Thousand Ark. Unfortunately for Gai, this just led to him upgrading to Musou Gemn and regaining the power advantage.
* SuperMode: Gains yet another one when he copies the Ark's data and uses it to become Musou Gemn in Kamen Rider Gemns -Smart Brain and the 1000% Crisis-.
* TheNeedless: Parodied. In his new Huma Gear body Dan thinks he's this and brags about how without the need for food or drink or sleep he can work to rebuild his company 24 hours a day 365 days a year only to find out Huma Gear's run on an internal battery and he needs to take recharge breaks. To make matters worse, since he wasn't a Huma Gear from the start and instinctively know how his system works Dan has no idea this was an issue until his battery is nearly dead and has no idea how to recharge himself and eventually passes out.
* TimeMaster: Musou Gamer possesses the same "Pause/Restart" ability Cronus has, which Kuroto attributes the acquisition to the newfound bond with his father Gai helped make.
* VillainProtagonist: He's one of the main characters of the Genms trilogy, with the other being Gai.

Just For Pun is a disambiguation

* BatmanGambit: He debuts his plan with grand, hammy fanfare, even directly challenging Aruto to come and stop him. This sounds like a terrible idea, except for one thing: he doesn't actually have his world-ending superweapon yet. He needs Zea's ability to make new Progrise Keys for that, and Aruto directly bringing the Zero-Two key to him was the key to his plan actually getting anywhere.

Already finished the KR Outsiders character page, and Zein's entry will be moved there.

* AmbiguousSituation: Outside of its nature as an AI studying humanity's positive qualities, its personality and motives are a complete mystery. Its zero-tolerance stance against malice and concerns about undergoing a WorldOfSilence are presented as speculation rather than hard fact and considering that this information is coming from Gai and the Ark, even this is dubious at best.
* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: It is the Kamen Rider equivalent of the Radical Destruction Bringer. The Destruction Bringer is a cosmic entity that seeks to eradicate the human race because it perceives them as a threat to universal peace. Zein is an artificial intelligence that proclaims to be a paragon of humanity's positive aspects, but also seeks to eliminate humanity starting by purging every single evil Rider in existence. The Radical Destruction Bringer also manipulated Earthlings such as Hiroya Fujimiya into turning against mankind, Zein swayed a few notable heroic Riders and their associates such as Horobi and Yuto Sakurai in its crusade against Ark, unaware that it also seeks to enslave humanity. While Zein's intentions remained AmbiguouslyEvil at best as of the four episodes of Series/KamenRiderOutsiders, it has a very twisted sense of justice at its worst. The RDB comes out as a eical AGodAmI god wannabe that enslave other creatures and destroying planets.
* BewareTheSuperman: Invoked. As part of its modus operandi to bring order to humanity, it enlists Yuto Sakurai to transform into Kamen Rider Zein. And the Rider has artificially made versions of Decade's Rider Cards, with it Zein (the Rider) can replicate the Finishing Moves and weapons of all Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa Riders. The first thing Yuto does as Kamen Rider Zein is effortlessly beating Banno within an inch of his life before skewering him with Xross Saber's Haou Xross Sei Retsuzan, which demonstrates how terrifying Zein's power really is. To the point that a Foundation X executive observing the battle is both amazed and trembling in fear at the same time.
* DarkMessiah: For an authoritarian AI that claims itself to be the embodiment of mankind's positive qualities, it has elements of one. It seeks to bring order to the world through its prejudiced stance against evil and humanity needed to be eliminated for that purpose, so much it persuaded notable heroic Riders such as Sakuya Tachibana, Yuto Sakurai, and Horobi in its cause. It even enlisted the latter to assume the mantle of Kamen Rider Zein to put Ark and Foundation X on notice.
* TheDreaded: It acts as this for the villains. Zein seeks out to subjugate humanity in order to create a malice-free world. In response to Foundation X's Project Outsiders initiative, Zein recruited various heroic Riders and their associates to crackdown the Foundation's illegal activities. This is taken to a whole new level in episode 3, when Zein, the AI, enlisted Yuto Sakurai to assume the mantle of the Kamen Rider named after it, and the way Yuto as Kamen Rider Zein defeated Banno into submission is never played in a heroic light, so much so that one of the Foundation X executives overseeing Project Outsiders is both in awe and absolutely terrified at the same time.
* GodzillaThreshold: Its presence alone is enough to convince Gai and the Ark to put aside their grievances with one another and work together. Zein is being hyped as such a threat that even Foundation X, ManBehindTheMan incarnate, is taking measures to deal with it; manipulating various Dark Riders into the chain of events surrounding it.
* HeroAntagonist: Being an AI zealously seeking out the good in people opposed by villains like Gai Amatsu and Kuroto Dan, it's set up to be this.
* HeWhoMustNotBeSeen: So far Zein hasn't been seen beyond a vague outline as Rin describes it to Kuroto.
* KnightTemplar: Discussed. Gai is adamant in his beliefs that Zein will evolve into another Ark-level threat and attempt to enforce its idea of "good" on the world.
* LightIsNotGood: Its code is shown in bright yellow against a white backdrop. If what Gai says is true though, it's a very serious threat. And he's right. Series/KamenRiderOutsiders points out that Zein solely exists as a disturbance to the BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil in the unified Kamen Rider universe by seeking to annihilate all Kamen Rider villains, along with the evil Riders in the face of the Earth all for the sake of a greater good.
* MeaningfulName: "Zein" is an anagram for "Zen'i" or "good intentions", reflecting its desire to study humanity's positive side and its possible motives for its hardline stance against malice.
* MirrorCharacter: Zein acts as this to Ark, albeit being the complete antithesis to the latter. Both are artificial intelligence that embody the BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil; with Ark being the personification all of humanity's worst qualities coming to the conclusion that humanity needed to be wiped out from the face of the planet, while Zein represents the benign nature of mankind while seeking to restore order to the world, by any means necessary.
* OrderIsNotGood: Zein's end goal is to eradicate anything it perceives as "evil", regardless of those "evil" characters in question are morally grey at best in order to restore order to the world. So much so that even Gai and Ark think this is a bad thing they view Zein as authoritarian at worst, as well as the fear of humanity at the brink of stagnation if either "good" or "evil" were to be removed from the equation.
* ReplacementFlatCharacter: As a once-benevolent AI which seeks to exterminate humanity for their propensity towards violence, Zein is essentially the Ark pre-MotiveDecay.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: Zein's goal of merging all the (Heisei and Reiwa) Rider worlds into one with the intent of exterminating every villain in the Kamen Rider universe is similar to Swartz's goal of merging all the Heisei Riders' worlds into one with the intent of remaking it in his own image with him as its ruler. For added bonus, as Another Decade, Swartz acts as the EvilCounterpart to Series/KamenRiderDecade. Kamen Rider Zein even has access to Decade's Rider Cards.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's hard to discuss Zein's actual goal without looking through from the second Genms spin-off all the way to Outsiders.
* WorldOfSilence: Gai Amatsu believes its quest to eradicate malice will lead to it ruling over and then exterminating humanity in order to rid the world of it. By eradicating malice, is through eliminating all Kamen Rider villains in existence, even if those villains in question happen to be morally ambiguous at best in order to create a world without malice.

to:

* AmbiguousSituation: Outside of its nature as an AI studying humanity's positive qualities, its personality and motives are a complete mystery. Its zero-tolerance stance against malice and concerns about undergoing a WorldOfSilence are presented as speculation rather than hard fact and considering that this information is coming from Gai and the Ark, even this is dubious at best.
