* {{Foil}}: To Horobi's Ark-Scorpion form. Ark-Scorpion is accessed via the Zetsumetsu Driver and Ark-Scorpion Progrisekey, the former being a jury-rigged variant of the Zero-One Driver. The form is also based off of Ark technology and was used by Horobi while being manipulated by As in a bid to create a new Ark. By contrast, Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] is accessed through the use of another modified Zero-One Driver, but uses a Zetsumerisekey instead of a Progrisekey. Said form is also used by the members of [=MetsubouJinrai=].net, a group dedicated to the Ark before undergoing a HeelFaceTurn.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: Compared to the other villains of Zero-One, Lyon is an upbeat enemy having fun openly taunting and mocking his opponents. This is the same man that [[spoiler: demolishes The Ark's MouthOfSauron and creates a scarier MechanicalAbomination in less than twenty minutes of real time]].

* GreaterScopeVillain: An extremely downplayed example. He appointed Gai to his position as president of ZAIA Japan and was the namesake of the Ark, but apart from that he had no involvement in the events of ''Zero-One'' as Gai corrupted the Ark entirely on his own.

** His vision of using Humagears as soldiers isn't necessarily a bad idea either. Having robot soldiers fight battles instead of human ones certainly help minimize the human cost of war. He doesn't seem to see that [[AndroidsArePeopleToo Humagears are people too]], [[{{Zigzagged}} however.]]

What results is a MechanicalAbomination driven by the sole goal of [[KillEmAll eliminating everyone pertinent]]. [[KnightTemplar It's so dedicated to this one goal]] that to say it even has a will of its own is being generous.

* EverythingsBetterWithDinosaurs: Uses two dinosaur-based [=ZetsumeriseKeys=]; one based on a Triceratops (where Thouser’s Amazing Caucasus key would go) and one based on a Carnotaurus (where Awaking Arsino would go).

* VillainProtagonist: He's one of main characters of the ''Genms'' trilogy, with the other being Gai.

* EvilerThanThou: Effortlessly asserts himself as superior to Gai (although he turned good) and As, though ironically he's less evil than either of them.

* HealingFactor: Due to S being a conglomerate of nanomachines, any damage he receives is repaired at an incredibly fast rate. The only thing capable of overcoming this is Aruto in Hellrising Hopper form, which inflicts damage faster than Eden could repair himself.
