His familia is smaller and not as well-known as Hephaestus's, but is full of high-level blacksmiths who create extremely powerful equipment to such an extent that it is the preferred choice for high-leveled members of Loki's familia. The familia's creations include Tiona's Urga (which had the property of being able to cut through nearly anything) and Ais's Desperate (which would never chip, break, melt, or otherwise falter thanks to its Durandal property, but it could dull.

Mord is richly rewarded for his confidence in them when they win -- the hefty amount of money he bet and the low odds set for the Hestia Familia's victory means he gets a ''very'' large payout.
* TheResenter: Resented Bell's rapid advancement and even went so far as to attack him in the dungeon over it. He gets over it after Bell defeats the Black Goliath.
* RuggedScar: He has two long scars on his face, one on his left cheek, and the other across his forehead.
