* SelfFulfillingProphecy: Angstrom's hatred for this version of Invincible stems from the fact that his alternate dimension counterparts are all murderers; he wants to stop Invincible in this universe before he can become one as well, unaware that this Mark is vehemently against killing even in self defense. [[spoiler:It takes Angstrom threatening Debbie and Oliver to finally get Mark to stop holding back, ultimately pummeling him to death and making this Invincible a killer as well, even if he is immensely remorseful afterwards.]]

* ArchEnemy: An interesting one-sided example. He only shows up for one episode, and for less than a couple of weeks from Mark's perspective, but it's clear that he feels this way towards Invincible. Getting his distinctive facial scar from him and making it a point to try and hurt him psychologically in the second invasion when he's rendered helpless before him and instead choosing to try and execute Eve right in front of him. In the third invasion, he comes decked out in a suit of PoweredArmor significantly more advanced than anything else the Flaxans show in the fight, purely to combat Invincible, with his soldiers pointedly keeping the rest of Teen Team away from his beatdown of him. Poignantly, he apparently made the effort to learn English during his kind's intervening years, solely so he could tell Mark one word during their final confrontation;
